Watch The New Deus Ex: Human Revolution Gameplay Video

33 0

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share the second gameplay trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution! In it you’ll find more footage on combat, augmentations, in-game menus, and upgrade trees than we’ve ever publicly shown. If you pay attention, you might even sneak a peek at our hacking mini-game and a weapon modification that toys with the term “hand cannon.”

And to those of you who think you’ve seen everything after watching the leaked footage (yeah, we know it exists…), to quote legendary Canadian rock group Bachman Turner Overdrive, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”

In other news, I’m pleased to announce that I and other members of the studio are presently readying content to distribute specifically to this great blog. After spending four challenging but passionate years developing a sequel to one of the most revered videogames of all-time, everyone involved can’t wait to talk. We’re very, very excited, and we hope you are too.

  • Man I’m so looking forward to this game! Stop teasing us with these vids :D

  • this game is gonna blow Deus Ex 1 away

  • can you guys release your ps1 game for god sake getting sick off waiting you guys want us 2 buy your games yet when we ask something we get ignored.

  • The first is probably my favourite game ever,2 was ok,and cant wait to see how this one holds up.
I’m purely stealth in these games and it’s looking like the augmentations on show will really help my Deus ex style of gameplay.

  • this is looking nothing short of amazing cannot wait for this!!!!

  • Looks really good, but why have XBOX360 footage on the PlayStation Blog?
Regardless, Im looking forward to this!

  • Yeah! Why put a XBOX360 Trailer?
Let me guess….PS3 is going to have lower graphics right?
    JACKPOT!!!

    • No worries. The game’s developed simultaneously on all platforms. If there’s a difference, I can’t see it. And I’d like to say I’m quite the perceptive lad.

  • The aliasing stands out like a sore thumb, especially when you blow 720p (or less) screenshots up to 1080p for no good reason.

  • Yeah well, now that Eidos is owned by square enix (which has yet to release a single good game on this generation of consoles) I can’t help but fear for this game. If I ever buy it, it will most likely be a pre-owned copy.

  • This has been my most anticipated game for what seem like years now, the first was in my top ten games of all time, so to say im excited for next year to come around is a understatement.
However like others have pointed out, it makes me sad that your showing xbox footage here. Does this mean lower resolution, choppy framerate and screen tearing for us PS3 owners?
If so then shame on you eidos, every man and his dog knows these days that you develop your games with the PS3 as the lead platform and then port it to the 360. Im tired of inferior 3rd party ports, is it too much to ask to get the same quality game experiance as others in terms of game engine performance?
Come on eidos make this shine on every console and dont make me cry when the comparison screen shots and videos come out:)

  • “I hope we can change your mind!”
I hope so too. Is there at least a demo planned ?

  • Looks nice, might even come close to the awesomeness of the first game.

  • I’m loving the teasers so far! Can’t wait for this game.
There looks to be a huge Squenix influence with the graphics this time which is great ‘cos they’re one of my favourtie devs.
I got Deus Ex 1 and 2 off steam for PC so I can replay the series (haven’t played #1!). Stealth all the way :)
Would definitely love to see a demo. Maybe some dynamic themes! (PS+ bonuses? :p)

  • ive not heard of this series before e3 this year but it looks really good definate by from me!

  • Deus Ex was was my favourite game of all time on PS2 so I’ve really been looking forward to this. From what I’ve seen so far it’s looking really good. I’m especially loving the Blade Runner-inspired cityscape. One aspect of the original game that made it so special for me was the replay value. I must’ve played it through more times than any other game because of the richness and depth of the story, branching plot paths and different endings. Will the new game follow a similar approach?

  • I’m really excited for the game, looking forward to it a lot! Will there be a demo of the game though, and will the soundtrack be released?
Also, the game’s trailers (so far) reminds me of Metal Gear Solid. Take that as a compliment :D

  • Hello Eidos nice to see you alive

  • This looks sick! SO SWEET!!!!

  • @Kyle Stallock
Thats refreshing to hear Kyle, i’ll hold you to your word when you eventually release the game :) March cannot come soon enough.

  • As long as you’re still knocking about how about another game set in the Legacy of Kain universe? Vampires are popular at the moment and it’d be good to balance out the fairies with fangs ala Twilight with some good old fashion bat mouthed uglies decapitating one another in a ye olde alternate realm. Open world sandbox game with quests and sidequests like an RPG but traditional hands on combat with unlockable forms such as wolf and bat. Maybe even a retelling of the original story, because it was an absolutely blinding narrative now trapped in a dated game that few people will play today. You can have that idea for free now and mail me my cheque later when it’s selling.

    • I can’t formally say anything about that series, but on a personal note I’m a HUGE fan. I can still remember the day I first started playing Blood Omen. It was a good day.

  • wow please let this be as good as it looks as i fear square has lost its way abit as i am amassive square fan and the worst thing they did was buy out other companies and have released below par games which is not like them as i feel they wreked the last final fantasy which they turned into a wierd platform game and what was with that ending silly but please let this be good but im also worried about this as its not gonna be amazing because of the ristrictions of the xbox disk size which i felt spoiled ff as they sold there soul to xbox pls dont kill this brand square PLEASE!!!!!

  • Could I have an answer to my question please? (post#16)
