Additional update on PS4 games for PlayStation Plus.
Plan the ultimate heist, team up with talkative weaponry then jump and chomp your way through an island adventure with the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for February! Payday 3, High on Life and Pac-Man World Re-Pac will be available to PlayStation Plus members from February 4*.

Payday 3 | PS5
Revel in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist in this high-octane, co-op FPS experience for up to four players online. Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go. Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.
High on Life | PS4, PS5
Fresh out of high school with no job and no ambition, you’ve really got nothing going for you until an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity invades Earth. Now, you and a team of charismatic talking guns must answer the hero’s call and become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter the cosmos has ever seen. Travel to a variety of biomes and locations across the cosmos, go up against the nefarious Garmantuous and his gang of goons, collect loot, meet unique characters, and more, in the latest comedy adventure from Squanch Games.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac | PS4, PS5
In this 2022 remake of the original PlayStation platformer, with improved UI, fine-tuned mechanics and updated visuals, Pac-Man arrives home on his birthday to find the Ghosts have kidnapped Pac-Man’s family & friends and ruined his party. Off to the rescue, Pac-Man sets out to Ghost Island. Dodge Ghosts, solve environmental puzzles, rescue the Pac-Fam, and more in this platforming adventure. Play a collection of 3D mazes in Maze mode, clear Quest mode to unlock the original Pac-Man game in Original mode.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members on February 4 until March 3.
Last chance to download January’s games
PlayStation Plus members have until February 3 to add Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe to their game library.
Update on PS4 Games for PlayStation Plus
As many of our players are currently playing on PS5 and have shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles from the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit, PlayStation Plus is also evolving with this trend and will focus on offering PS5 titles through the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit starting January 2026. As we shift to PS5, PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog starting January 2026. We may still provide titles that can be playable on both PS4 and PS5 consoles after this date.
Please note, this won’t affect the PS4 Monthly Games that you have already redeemed from PlayStation Plus. You’ll continue to have access to games you’ve already redeemed as long as you remain a member. For Game Catalog, PS4 games will still be available to play until it leaves the catalog as part of our monthly refresh.
We’ll continue to evolve the experience of PlayStation Plus and optimize the benefits you receive, including exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, online game save storage and more. As we shift our focus to PS5, we look forward to adding new PS5 titles monthly for you to enjoy.
*PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup may differ in certain regions. Please check the PlayStation Store on launch day for your region’s lineup.
The game selection is horrendous as it is. Couple that with the fact there are little to no quality ps5 games, what exactly will you put out? Should be like xbox and offer new quality games on day 1, and other worthy titles to justify the prices you charge. Heck, half the time I’m playing ps4 games because the ps5 offerings are terrible. Why isn’t spider man 2 on there yet???

High on Life always heard good things.
Pacman is a classic. I’ve never been good at it.
So those still on PS4 by that time get screwed, making PSPlus almost completely worthless, unless you have a PS5. Thanks a bunch Sony. I understand that PS5 is your main focus, etc, but cutting off PS4 users in this way really doesn’t save you guys any revenue, boost your customer base, or really gain you anything, other than alienating past-gen users. Personally, having supported you guys since the very first days of the Playstation 1, I find this to be yet another kick in the teeth, especially to those of us who have been supporting you since day 1. And yes, before anyone says anything smart-ass, there are still many people who, for one reason or other are still, and will remain on PS4. Yes, a move up to PS5 would be the way to go, but for many this just isn’t an option. Very disappointed in Sony once again. Absolutely no respect or concern to those of us who’ve been loyal supporters and customers for decades.

(For whatever reason.).

Which, I think is an issue that needs to be addressed, personally.
Os jogos que estão sendo disponibilizados está cada vez pior, janeiro foi ruim, e fevereiro segue o mesmo caminho!
Praticamente a assinatura da plus essencial está servindo apenas para o armazenamento na nuvem e alguns descontos em jogos para comprar, não vale o valor de quase 300 reias na assinatura se continuar nesse seguimento de jogos ruins!
Espero mesmo que a Sony traga algo bem em meio a toda essa catálogos de jogos maravilhosos.

There are a lot of bad choices don’t get me wrong. Putting Suicide Squad last month and then Payday this upcoming, both of which were flops, is pretty dumb. What’s next Concord? I just can’t get over the fact so many people think they will put out recent games ok something you pay below $20 a month for, just isn’t feasible.
Another issue is they are seemingly phasing out PS4 stuff which really sucks for PS4 only players. Granted there’s a big back catalog.

After the effective bait and switch, once again, in the Lunar New Year sale, to find my cancellation was only a cancellation of a renewal, (therefore unable to get the discount,) I reckon I will be doing this.
These marketing games are unplayable, so I will not be playing.
I think if I was a little more attached to the monthly games, I’d feel differently about this, though.
(I only have 36 of them, for one thing.).
That being said, maybe I could contact customer support before the 4th, to see what it’s like, and report back.
At the very least, I might be able to signpost for the correct department.
(If it was only for me, I would consider it as a waste of time.).

During my research online, which I’ve been doing for a while now, it’s allegedly an exploit of the sunken cost fallacy.
[In someone else’s words, for those who aren’t familiar:

Although I have no idea about the business side of making deals for PS. Plus monthly games, I feel like ‘Newer Games’, and ‘PS4. Games’, are concepts/ requests which are entirely opposed to eachother.

I mean, at the risk of sounding like I’m emotionally void, and completely don’t get the point, I’m not entirely sure it’s as harsh as people are making out.
The PS4. Has been supported for a significant amount of time, so I believe the PS4. represents more value, than people appear to give it credit for.

I look at it this way. We get several more games in the middle of the month as well, and they DID just release GOW Ragnarok for those people who don’t have that game, like me. However, I played up to the bear and quit. It was just the same old GOW game with a new name and the boy is all grown up with a deeper voice, that’s all.
Xbox gets tons of day one games and Sony gives us games that are reviewed pretty poorly or have been so cheap that most already own them. Fun stuff….
I can confirm that PS. Plus does not want our money, as a matter of policy.

However, I would encourage other people to contact Playstation Store support, before cancelling their memberships, so they get a resolution if available, and Playstation know the money is available, if they stop this awful behaviour.

I have wanted to play High on life for a while. And I’m interested in testing Pac Man World.
I have a few PS Plus games i haven’t finished too.

Premium subscriber here. The moment you take PS4 games off the PS+ Platform is the moment that I will unsubscribe and never come back. You guys (PlayStation) are skating on very, VERY thin ice this generation, and I think you know it. I’m a longtime PS fan but I’m at my wits end with y’all, and I know I’m not the only one. Please, please do not pull PS4 games from the PS+ platform. That’s a terrible idea. Especially right now.

To be honest, I love Payday since my friends play it, but they only have Payday 2, so that’s out the window. I would love to see more shooter games like Battlefield 2042 or something like that. Or better horror games, like Phasmophobia (idk if I spelled it right). January games this year were lovely, thanks Playstation.
