  • Look at the Switch 2. The world is going crazy over a device with even lower performance than the PS4. Why is that? What does the Switch 2 have?

    And what about the PS6?

PlayStation has now become just a mid-range PC. Inferior PC. So the PS6 will sell even less than the PS5.
Selling off IPs may improve profitability to some extent. But will sacrificing the very elements that made PlayStation special truly be beneficial in the long run?

This is the result of a temporary CEO prioritizing short-term profits over making PlayStation stand out

  • I want to give my money to Sony but they don’t sell their games in Baltics – an EU region

  • Awesome if it touches SteamDeck! As a Linux player it was very frustrating because of additional inconvenience. I have to use SteamDeck option in the launch commands for Ragnarok otherwise it won’t launch. And it required online but the thing is i could login only shortly after i stared PC, some 10-15 minutes later i couldn’t get in as it won’t be able to locate the server. Also impossible to login the second time. As a workaround i had to logout from system session for it to work again.

  • Okay, now port Half-Life: Alyx to PS5 PSVR2, please.

  • That’s a good start, but please also offer the games in countries where PSN is not supported through Steam, now that a PSN account is optional.

  • Wow this is so sad. Bribing PC players to buy your games now. Is this not proof enough that the port strategy isn’t working. Most decent modders will have better costumes 1 hour after they pirate the game anyway. Might as well call MS to ask how to become a 3rd party publisher.

  • Finally some good news from Sony. Forcing psn on pc was a dumb decision to begin with.

  • Yes let’s further take priority away from PlayStation users by not only having them pay more but get less stuff. Stop this observed push to PC to chase mythical unicorn and focus on your product. Build the game peo

  • You want sell more console then change your global polices on what currency is allowed and region that are locked out build your brand not valves because the sure is hell won’t put half life on PlayStation.

  • Most of the games are region blocked for me anyways, sooooo…

  • If PlayStation is permitted on Steam, then Steam should be permitted on PlayStation

  • Watching people have a meltdown over Sony releasing games to PC has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Imagine trying to gatekeep a whole brand to “protect it” by shilling for a multi-billion dollar company….

You are nothing more than a username to them at the end of the day, and it’s actually insane that people have some kind of parasocial relationship with a corporation. Been playing PS since the PS1 with my dad, and seeing Sony diversifying is awesome.

  • Please include my home country Philippines to this one, so that I can view the PS exclusive games on my steam and buy one of the games.

  • So it has got to the point now that Sony has to bribe PC players to buy their games. You PC players don’t want a Sony account but you are quiet happy to make one for UBI, Activision, M$ and all the other game companies that require on for Single player games. Playstation is going down the toilet and you are flushing the chain

  • Spiderman 2 Cracked and Pirated in 2 mins of official release, way to go Sony. Goggle it and you will see

  • Bribing PC Players to buy their games, Hilarious

  • Hey Sony, just wanna say that you’re heading the right direction.

DESPITE of the negative comments here, giving incentive to those who use PSN is a much better option, than punishing those who don’t.

You can’t please everyone. So at the very least, what you can do is please the non-toxic sane logical gamers. The entitled whiners will always whine no matter what any game companies do.

  • please remove region restrictions if yall remove the PSN requierment then remove region restrictions

  • I don’t have any issues with spiderman 2 on my PC it runs smoothly even in 4k so i don’t understand if other people have the necessary requirements to play it. Never had a single crash but noticed some minor glitches and bugs. Can’t wait to play Last of Us part 2 remastered.

  • All of this games are still unavailable in many countries on Steam.

  • I Was lucky enough to help with the decision making process here, with a pretty in depth survey. Glad to see the one i wanted won out.

That means we should also be seeing some pretty great changes coming to membership plans as well. I’m sure that’s just a matter of working out the licensing nuances.

However, the two best options IMHO was an extended family plan, with the option of paying double but able to add 4 total to your group, iirc, to play any content you have.. and the other one, which sounded amazing but unlikely: own it on one system, play it on any. Seems SO MUCH MORE FAIR than the way it is.. plus it promotes owning digital (no real way to verify you didn’t sell the physical media) however, I’d bet that they won’t play nice and publishers are gonna throw a fit about publisher’s and platform fees. RIP. Good idea, but it sure wouldn’t be the first time arbitrary rules stifled innovation. (Stares at the oil industry)

  • Playing ps games on my pc is the only way I can use my Playstation 4 controller. I hate the ps5 controller and I’m forced to play the ps4 version of the game on my ps5. When sony restricted the ps4 controller to play ps5 games is when I’m not buying another ps console again.

  • Jordan’s Jacket from Intergalactic will arrive for PS5 players?

  • Gonna sell my PS5 and buy a prebuilt PC since you guys support it non-stop

  • Any incentives for people who bought the PlayStation 5? Mine’s been gathering dust for over a year

  • This is a great transition for the PlayStation Community. I just found out there is Midnight Black looking greyish. Post it now!!!
