Manage the alchemical potion shop with Jean and Lisa, and meet the renowned fashion designer Chiori!
Hello, Travelers! The Genshin Impact dev team is back with the latest information on the upcoming March 13 update. In Version 4.5 “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade,” you will receive an invitation from Mondstadt to come and help bolster the local alchemy potion business. Additionally, the renowned fashion designer Chiori will become a playable character.
Meanwhile, a series of new content and optimization are added to help players better build their companions. We highly recommend all Travelers to check out the “Training Guide” which may provide helpful tips on character enhancement in various aspects.
Potion Trade in Mondstadt
Following the New Year celebration in Liyue, the Knights of Favonius protecting Mondstadt are seeking some management wisdom to expand their businesses. Alchemy has been a field of study for them, and recently Lisa has come up with a new approach: opening a store to promote the alchemical potions business.
In the “Alchemical Ascension” event, you will deal intensively with the production of potions, from cultivating ingredients to brewing the potions and finally selling them to customers. As the shop flourishes, we can also expand the business by purchasing more operational facilities and exquisite potion bottles, expanding the store space, and attracting patrons that are familiar faces. Once enough income has been earned, Travelers will have a chance to obtain a variety of rewards, including the exclusive 4-star polearm “Dialogues of the Desert Sages.”
In addition to managing a shop, two other mini-games will be available to help you unwind and relax: the new mini-game “Feline Fortress Furrdyssey” will delight cat lovers as they can pet various felines, and a new remote cannon will allow you to blast away endless hordes of Slimes in “Rolling Crossfire.”
The Double-Wielding Seamstress
In Fontaine’s Quartier Lyonnais stands Chioriya Boutique, a renowned fashion hub. Its owner, the genius Inazuman designer Chiori, plans to expand her influence across Teyvat’s fashion industry. After her debut in Version 4.3, Chiori will finally be playable as a 5-star Geo sword wielder. You can learn more about the challenges she faces and her opportunities to shine and make history at Fontaine Fashion Week in her Story Quest.
Chiori’s fashion sense and work ethic are also reflected in her combat and exploration abilities. Using her Elemental Skill, Chiori can summon her design assistant, an automaton doll named “Tamoto,” to deal damage based on her DEF and ATK. If a Geo Construct is available nearby, Chiori can summon another “Tamoto” to attack enemies. When she unleashes her Elemental Burst, she draws her twin blades, whose precise cuts deal AoE Geo DMG. Thanks to her belief that fashion should also be practical, Chiori increases her own party members’ Movement SPD by 10% if any party member is wearing a non-default outfit or wind glider.
Chiori and Arataki Itto will be featured in the Event Wishes during the first half of Version 4.5, while Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha will be featured in the latter half. Additionally, a brand-new “Chronicled Wish” will be released during Version 4.5, offering players with a chance to pull for certain characters and weapons at the same time.
The “Chronicled Wish” will feature 5-star characters including Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean, as well as over ten 5-star weapons including Wolf’s Gravestone and Hunter’s Path. Similar to the Weapon Event Wish, you can chart a course toward your chosen character or weapon. If the 5-star character or weapon you receive is not the one you chose, you will gain one Fate Point. However, you can only obtain a maximum of one Fate Point for “Chronicled Wish.” This means that the second 5-star character or weapon you receive is guaranteed to be your chosen one if it was not the case for your first 5-star object.
New Optimizations and Tips for Character Enhancement
The release of Version 4.5 will be accompanied by brand-new system optimizations to make things easier for you when you find combat or exploration too difficult. We would like to offer more help, especially to beginners, as the adventure progresses.
The newly added “Training Guide” in the Paimon Menu provides enhancement suggestions based on your characters’ level, weapons, artifacts, and talents. For example, if you look at the recommendations for the weapon you equip for a particular character, the Training Guide will not only give you tips on how to ascend the equipped weapon and where to obtain ascension materials, but also show a few popular weapons used by other players for your chosen character.
In short, the Training Guide aims to serve as an integrated info hub, where you can seek advice on all aspects of character enhancement and navigate to relevant domains, enemies, or upgrade interfaces via hotkeys.
In addition, the character talents interface will also feature a new function to display level up materials, which will help Travelers to quickly acquire information regarding character enhancement.
And that’s all for our sharing today. We hope you enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of our events during Version 4.5, and get ready for the challenges and surprises coming with the next update!
