Available starting Tuesday, June 7.
The rollout of the all-new PlayStation Plus is well underway, with Asia’s launch last week and Japan launching starting today! Additional markets will launch this month, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy the new service.
Today, we are pleased to share the monthly games that will be included in June for PlayStation Plus. From June 7 to July 4, PlayStation Plus members can add God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl to their game library. When the all-new PlayStation Plus launches in your region, these titles will be available as monthly games to all PlayStation Plus members including those on the PlayStation Plus Essential plan (which includes the same benefits PlayStation Plus members get today).
Let’s take a closer look at the titles.

God of War | PS4
Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest. This staggering reimagining of God of War combines all the hallmarks of the iconic series – epic boss fights, fluid combat, and breathtaking scale – and fuses them with a powerful and moving narrative that re-establishes Kratos’ world.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker | PS4
The Naruto franchise goes 4 vs. 4, featuring team-based gameplay with 8 ninjas fighting simultaneously. Players cooperate as a team of four to compete against other teams online. Graphically, Shinobi Striker is also built from the ground up in a completely new graphic style. Lead your team and fight online to see who the best ninjas are.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl | PS4/PS5
Brawl it out as your favorite Nickelodeon characters in bombastic platform battles. With a power-packed cast of heroes from the Nickelodeon universe, face-off with all-stars from SpongeBob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Danny Phantom, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and more to determine ultimate animation dominance. With unique move sets and attacks inspired by their personalities, each character has an individual style of play enabling endless action for Nickelodeon’s legion of fans.

Really a 4 year old game that almost everyone has played
And is also on the ps plus collection are you trying to destroy your fanbase
Yeah maybe relax? PS plus has been really solid even though this month is pretty bad. Everyone has played God of War but it’s also a good sign because it further confirms Ragnarok as a lock for this year. Plus, Sony is more concerned about extra and premium at this point and luckily those tiers are phenomenal looking. If you look at games with gold even though this essentials lineup isn’t good it’s still better than what Microsoft does on gwg and I would assume better months moving forward because this was done just to pump Ragnarok and encourage people to purchase the higher tiers. I don’t think this is the end for essential the way Game pass essentially murdered Games with Gold.
@iamtylerdurden1 PS Plus has been really solid?? Hahaha are you having a laugh.
I know right! I mean it’s not G.O.W doesn’t have a huge fanbase or anything… OH WAIT, yes it does meaning fans of the original G.O.W series before ps4 would have bought it DAY 1 and everyone else waited for a good deal, plus like you mentioned it on the ps plus collection so anyone who is getting ps5 can wait and get it G.O.W for free then.
This is,
1. The expected marketing push for Ragnarök. (just like them giving ratchet ps4 and hzd were during the pandemic to promote the sequels.)
2. Good news for those hoping the game is going to hit holiday release as this all but confirms that. I expect we see the official release date later this summer.
3. “everyone played it” yeah no they didn’t, you have well over 100 mill ps4’s out there and game sales aren’t even at 1/3 attach so people need to relax, obviously most people interested did. But for those that missed it and have any interest in cinematic action they are getting a top tier game on plus, a rarity.
They everyone bought/played it argument is just false and doesn’t even hold water with games like breath of the wild or mario kart 8 on switch where the attach is the highest in the industry.
I they are
I’m sure some people haven’t played God of War. Very dramatic to think SONY will destroy their fanbase, that’s a silly assertion-it could give gamers a reason to replay it.
Ratchet and Clank was also on the plus collection at was given away last year. Same with HZD. The thing is, those were free to keep, whether you had plus or not. This is the third time they’ve done this, and it’s starting to annoy me now. I wouldn’t have cared if they never did the plus collection.
I haven’t play God of War so I’m looking slightly forward to this
Remember the playstation plus collection is only for ps5 this gives the PS4 people that don’t have a ps5 yet get God of war
So this is the part where I’m supposed to complain that Sony isn’t catering to me and only me?
Wait seriously? The other games I don’t care about but I’m fine with, but putting on g.o.w. Is a blatant advertising for ragnarok and nothing else. It seems like a the whole reason it’s here is to get g.o.w. In articles before they launch the game, even though basically everyone is gonna get it once it launches anyway. And it’s already free, if you have ps plus now, just get the game, if you get it next month, why not just get a higher level of the service and get it and a lot more games without the one month limit. Honestly this service is gonna be treated like garbage now that there are higher levels, and people who have it now can’t just upgrade, but they have to pay for the whole year, basically waisting the months that were left of their subscription.
It’d probably be less of a problem if the other two games actually qualified as anything remotely decent. Which, they don’t. Yes, almost everyone would have gotten this game by now. If you haven’t, then I don’t know what your deal is. Buy less CoD’s or whatever.
