Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection coming to PS5 and PC

We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing Uncharted to the PlayStation 5 console and PC with the release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

This brand-new remastered bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, featuring Nathan Drake as he hunts for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure, setting off for one final far flung adventure across the jungles of Madagascar to long lost pirate colony of Libertalia. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which chronicles Chloe Frazer’s breakout exploits as she moves from frenemy to hero. Enlisting the assistance of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, Chloe ventures to India’s Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for PS5. The PC version is in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version. As these dates approach, we’ll discuss more details.

Needless to say, we’re pretty excited that more players will get the chance to meet (and fall in love with) Nathan, Chloe, Nadine, and the rest of the cast in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

you realize horizon sold very well on steam right they are a company they do not care about any of us they only care about making money so why wouldnt they want to make more on a game they have to put little resources into and resell it at full price again its just smart business

I think Sony did a good move in terms of growing their profit even in the long term. Some opposing ones might say they will hold on to buying a new console because no more exclusive forever, but come on think again! The cost of a PS5 now, in this case, means an amount you need to pay for playing Sony’s blockbusters in very advance of others, and out there are tons of keen gamers happy to take this, which I believe it should be by seeing how many copies of really high-priced games sold at their fist come on Steam. Even with some loss in their hardware sold, let do the math on the extra profit of each at least 2 or more year-old copy to see what a good deal they can earn from PC gamers who, at that time, include you having skipped their console.

What sets these apart from the PS4 versions?

I’m with Digital Foundry on this one. I can’t tell what’s different. These games already ran great.

Additionally Uncharted 4 really wasn’t as good as the first 3 games nor was its multiplayer (2 and 3 just destroy uncharted 4 MP). So I’m not sure there is much incentive here beyond Lost Legacy. Still no enhanced remaster of Golden Abyss. Why do you guys hate Sony Bend so much that you lock that game to Vita.

What I’d like from Uncharted:
1) A Shadow of the Colossus style remake of Uncharted 1 and maybe 2. When the series was at its best.
2) Uncharted 5, with Amy Hennig at the helm.
3) A proper Remake or Remaster of Golden Abyss. Some of the mini games would need work like that brilliant puzzle where you have to shine a light behind the map. Who ever designed that really understood phantom hourglass.
4) Another Chloe Frasier Uncharted Game. I loved Lost Legacy.

As it stands taking PS4 games and Remastering them or even remaking them at this point is a really stupid idea. Please stop. There are plenty of generation locked titles on PS3 that could use some love. In particular Resistance, the 5 or Ratchet and Clank titles. The entire god of war saga (though I’m pretty sure god of war 3 for PS4 still ahs that texture bug at the very start of the game that no one ever fixed). Would be nice to see the motorstorm games, but Evolution is gone now… thanks for that btw…. Infamous? What about PS2?

Would love to see Sony take another crack at some PS Move games in VR for PSVR2. Sorcery was a fantastic idea that was kind of ruined by the platform(s) it was locked too.

Please don’t retread PS4 titles, they play fine on PS5 and really only need a PS5 patch most of the time. Did I really need “Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut” What is the difference really? Looking at Death Stranding I’m just as baffled beyond the added game play (thank you kojima I have a feeling you pushed for that). Just stop Sony.

The coolest thing about Play Station in 2021 is that you need to pay 10-70$ to unlock option that is free in PC like for last 20 years of modern gaming (such as graphic display options).

Literary, lets play the same game every time new console shows up, while unlocking higher resolution, shiny options and better textures and for 30-70$.
But, here is an advice:
Try to make new Uncharted games – you will need to remaster them in 10 years.

A huge thanks to Sony for bringing this to PC. Kindly also request you to bring the first 3 Uncharted games (Nathan Drake Collection) to PC as well. Highly looking forward to playing this franchise on PC.

Highly doubt this will be the case, but maybe existing owners will get a free upgrade for the 2 games. If not, I’ll wait for the same exact games to be $5 at gamestop a few years from now. $70 for games I already own just isn’t worth it to me.

60 fps patch for $60, dont know why this route. I see no graphical improvement in remaster trailer. Can you guys please detail what is added? Dualsense haptics? 3d Audio? Animation improved for higher framerate? Higher texture detail?

I mailed Naughty Dog about a year or less ago about making This Awesome Game on PC
Yup They Listened so well and I want to thank them for that
about the release date for PC it must not be so late because today PS5 is sharing the same game engine features as for PC so they will only be late for setting keymapping for us

I wont be buying same game for 3rd time . At least give people who played it already digital copy for free . Most of them wont be playing again . But its not fair at all if they are fans and like me they bought it twice already . You can see it on they psn profiles which should be automated if game isnt remake that i can understand . Theree is many times more work done than just remaster .

Sony by leader by how you treat those who love your company and products . I dont think its okay to threat customers like this . Or at least give us much much better price like for upgrade ps4-ps5 game .

please be the world you wanna see. Not just faceless gready company like rest ;) Im huge fan nof your products . Keep it going and set new rules not just for you and us but for the world aswell . We should threat anothers like we wanna be threated .
