  • Tekken 7 was already a Permanent Title. Why is it now a Time Limited Release and offering for this month?

    • Just read the fine print.

Tekken 7 was on PSNOW library perma in Canada and USA.

Does it now change to a time limited for CAN/USA or retain it’s Perma Status?

    • So we (in Canada for example) get a replacement game instead then, right? Right? Hmmmm

  • The past months ps now did it so well that it attracted many people to the service, but it’s not possible that you damage all the effort with a month like this, Tekken was already indefinitely and now it has a date? Even the game was already in the ps now of usa, why dont give another game in return? It is quite disappointing, I think it’s good that FF games arrive the service, but please do not ruin the months like that. Reddit is crazy right now because of this

  • Scraping the bottom of the bin again. Really poor month. Tekken 7 has been on Now in US for what 2 years? Killing Floor 2 is a 5yr old online game hardly anyone plays anymore, and FF 99% of people who want to play it have. Also 4 indie games hardly anyone will care about. If this is seriously the best yiu can offer you must really be struggling to get games on the service.

    • Speak for yourself. Pathfinder is not an indie for one but Moonlighter is an excellent game, and I’ve wanted to give Windbound and Ghost of a Tale a go for some time now. Rather these than AAA titles. If I want AAA I’ll buy it like I should rather than expecting it on a sub service. Indies deserve more recognition.

  • Cancelled Gamepass and Humble monthly and PS Now and EA Play a couple months ago.
Amazing how much all this nonsense adds up to. Just buy your games on disc and own them forever fam

    • Yeah I came to the same conclusion. But these services are still useful for people who like to buy their games instead. I use GP and PS Now as a way to try games like unlimited demos. Never paid for these subcribtions, but thanks to them I know what some of my next purchases are going to be. Many games I discovered through PS Now I’m buying them later, instead of paying for another months to be able to keep on playing them

    • I still have PS Now because I paid $44 for a year, that’s a tremendous bargain, undoubtedly. I’ve also been collecting physical games for several years and own close to 750 PS4 and PS5 games.

  • Nice line up for this month, please add an option to download PS3 games

    • It simply can’t be done. The games are streamed from a PS3 or a PS3 farm of systems. Its the only reason they are playable on PS4.

If you download a PS3 game to a PS4 or PS5 console, how are they supposed to run it lol? They won’t even give us a PS1 emulator for PS4 or PS5, a PS3 emulator is simply not technologically possible.

    • @andrewsqual A PS3 emulator is technologically possible. It exists on PC. The PS4 doesn’t have the specs to handle it, but PS5 presumably can if Sony wants to put the time into it. My PC isn’t as strong as a PS5, but it can run a decent amount of PS3 titles, it’s far from perfect, but an official emulator can do a better job, they have the official documentation and legal ability to do things amateur emulators can’t.

But based on the shoddy PS2 classics lineup on PS4 and complete lack of PS1, it’s only unlikely to happen because Sony just doesn’t seem to want to do it, not that they can’t.

  • Sigh…I wonder if sony will ever bother to bring PS Now to latin america, 7 years and counting…

  • I would really like to subscribe to this service.

Providing the PlayStation 5 versions ps4 games you add would be great. It seems odd to exclude that when the upgrades to said games are free otherwise.

Also I know it’s difficult but being able to download ps3 games would be great. I have a 1 terabyte data cap on my home internet every month and I’m concerned I would go over it.

Hopefully these things can be addressed in the future. This service has so much potential.

  • I get that Tekken 7 isn’t available on PS Now in all regions, but this is the US blog, why are they advertising it on the US blog if it’s already been available for some time? Also, does this mean the US version is leaving in February?

    • They merged the two blogs into one, the EU blog is no more so they have to announce everything here since this is the main (and only) PS blog.

  • Killing Floor 2 is a lot of fun!

    • Very mediocre lineup!

A game that is already there for NA region and no replacement for it and a game that was on PS Plus before… as usual!!

Also, as others mentioned here, would be nice if you made it clear if the Tekken 7 game that’s already available in NA will also leave in Feb!!!…

    • I’m sorry, I replied to your comment by mistake, meant to add a separate comment 😅

    • True, but now we know that the company is run by a bigot who hates women and America. I’d rather skip a fun game than support a company that actively hates our culture and the values of the community which are his only customers.

  • Might want to consider removing Killing Floor 2…

  • If you are going to pull the tweets promoting Killing Floor 2 then also please remove the game from NOW. We don’t promote game developers that want to control a women’s body here.

  • thanks you playstation for making me rethink buying xbox your subscription management is worst you just running a commercial for Game pass XD

  • A week ago I read that Hitman 2 was the front runner. Even though I already owned that title for ps4 I was still looking forward to it on the PS5. I wonder what made them change their minds….???

  • Lots of garbage in these comments as usual. Thank you for adding some much-needed RPG games to the service. I care about those as I almost exclusively play rpg and the selection has been lacking as of late. Not everyone wants you to add blockbusters constantly. Thanks for these additions I am looking forward to playing!

  • Playstation Now should be renamed to Playstation Never, because it will never come to your country, but you will still be notified whats new there.

  • This blog is a joke… our comments are never answered, our feedback is never taken into consideration.
Unless we write positive stuff, we are not even read.

It’s a waste of time to time to even post anything here. They should turn off the comments because it would be the same.

    • Totally agree, even positive comments are ignored… we keep coming here because it’s the “official” PS blog thinking they take us seriously instead of the cringefest that’s reddit but I guess we’re wrong!!!

    • Oops, they deleted my “bad, jerk” comment… Looks like they actually do read comments after all lol

But the guy who called others garbage still gets a pass! Typical!!!

  • How about adding some PS5 games – or at least PS5 versions of PS4 games? The console has been out for about 10 months now…

  • Just another month to keep saying ‘merge with PS Plus’.

  • Will the PlayStation Now service be available in Poland?

  • Adding killing floor 2 after their studio director’s recent comments around the Texas abortion ban is really not a good look.

  • Is there a reason Ghost of a Tale, cannot be downloaded? On my PS5 I get only the stream and the buy prompt.

  • SONY, some PS Plus games are getting locked, it’s been more than a month and it hasn’t been solved. Do something, we are paying for a membership.

  • This month is terrible. Games we already had sitting around for years or on plus. It’s a slap in the face to give same game on both services when both services should be combined or at least have an ultimate package.

  • Is anyone else not even seeing the games it says they added them but they didn’t it seems

  • Killing Floor 2 that day after John Gibson comments about the Texas abortion law?? Unbelievable really! Do better Sony!!!

  • Sony needs to do a few things. They need to upgrade to PS5 blades as soon as they can. Also, I think we should be able to buy PS games and play them on PS Now. Just look at how many people don’t have any version of a PS, but by doing this they could still buy the games and play them.
