I got question? Games deals only on retail copies or digital too?

    • I think it’s a given it’ll be only on the PlayStation Store, dude. Up to retailers to discount physical copies — but you can always look on eBay etc.

    • psn only :)

    • All previous Day of play sale retailers were involved as well. Because they discounted controllers and had a special PS4 color. The pandemic might stop it but retailers still want money

    • ” great deals on a selection of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games as well as other select products at participating retailers

top offerings that will be available at participating retailers

“Get ready for incredible deals on PlayStation games and more, from online retailers and in-store when the Days of Play sale starts.”

  • Hey

  • Very curious to see how much the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition will go on sale for.

    • Miles Morales Ultimate Edition is retailed in the PS/ US store for $69.99, I strongly believe sony will discount it for $55.99/ 20% off. First-party games are hard to see a discount that gamers will like to see at an early stage. That’s just from my perspective.

  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales pre-owned is still selling for about £35. I would imagine a discount on that game won’t be below £30 — which is still a high price for a 7-hour game.

  • Last of us 2 ps5 update please!

  • I signed up today, will I be able to get the rewards?

  • Sony esses preços dos jogos no Brasil estão uma vergonha 350 Reais é muito para nossa economia. Traga também o PS NOW para o Brasil. E os descontos que sejam mesmo atrativos para não perder seus clientes.

  • Nice, been waiting for this announcement! I may finally pick up Demon’s Souls depending on how much it goes for.

  • I hope Sackboy gets a good discount, I didn’t get that at launch because Astro is awesome and came free so I’ve been holding out to pick it up in a sale. I’ve got Ratchet & Clank on pre-order too and they are similar platformers but would still get Sackboy digitally if the price is right… I may be tempted by Demon’s Souls too, never played the original and didn’t really get into Bloodborne so not confident enough it is my type of game to play full price for it…

  • At last, the rewards program has finally begun. I already sign up and got confirmation email from them. Anyway, I want to see the offering sale price goes with the days of play event. Hopefully at the affordable prices.

  • is there gonna be any discount for PS Plus?

  • If it helps anyone this is what I found online (sorry only have UK prices)

    Ps5 Games

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – £42.99
    Sackboy A Big Adventure! – £51.99
    Demon’s Souls Remake – £59.99
    Marvel’s Spiderman Ultimate Edition – £59.99

    PS4 Games

    Days Gone – £16.99
    Marvel’s Spider-Man – £16.99
    Death Stranding – £16.99
The Last of Us Part II – £22.99
    Ghost of Tsushima – £30.99
    PS Hits Titles for £11.99

    • Saw this too, pretty unfortunate.

Sony’s “sale” is still worse than what you get a physical copy for. They sure know how to rip people off on digital sales!

    • Most of these titles r much cheaper in physical form, not really worth buying it digital

    • If those were the base prices i’d feel most of them were too high…

    • I believe that is the physical form prices sold in places like argos and game

  • What about PlayStation Plus and PS Now ?
No discount for them this year !!!!

  • Vamos pessoal!!

  • My kids birthday is next week and he wants Miles Morales so glad to see this discount hit just in time.

  • Hey, how about an opportunity to buy a PS5?

    • Ikr! I was trying to buy a PS5 since day 1……still haven’t been able to get one.

    • This days of play sale has got to be one of the worst “sales” I’ve seen in a long time. 14% is the average discount on most of the games I actually wanted.

How can you hype up this crap by saying “great deals on selected games”… none of those ps5 games are apart of that.

  • Looking forward

  • I’m torn. I want to complain about telling me there’s going to be a sale, but making me wait a week for the sale to start. At least tell me what the prices are going to be. It’s frustrating.

Then again, you effectively just told me not to pick up any of these titles this week, because they’ll be on sale next week. That’s cool, I guess. So…thanks?

  • I’m just asking if someone can log into the playstation plus games or just free online multiplayer gaming in his own games ??

    • I’m sorry I couldn’t understand your question…….but all i can say is that if you own a game which requires PS+ for online play(like GTA Online), you will be able to play online in those games for free i.e without ps+.

    • The “free multiplayer” is just the multiplayer bit being free.

It doesn’t give you the other Plus things like games and cloud saving.

  • Its 12 am for me 12:45 but didnt got free ps plus

  • Happy birthday to me

  • Bears_Wear_Hats

Whether at Sony or at the developer, someone missed a trick by not including Godfall here. The unifying statement on all reviews is that you should wait for a sale, and I feel there must be lots of people – me included – wiating for this to drop to about half the current price. Not too late!

  • What about Demon’s Souls, any thoughts?? Aproximate sale??

    THX

  • powerful-wax679

Will there be a discount on uncharted lost legacy? It is a PlayStation hit

  • I know it starts may 26 but what time do the the deals start? 12:00am?

  • I signed up early on, and have gotten no rewards, and the site acts as if I’ve never signed up. Things like this, along with the forums being gone, difficulty in getting a PS5….this is all starting to not be fun anymore.

    • Can only assume its a bug. I signed up day 1 as well, and now it tells me I need to log in to sign up, despite being signed in already.

    • Curious if you tried signing up using Chrome like I did. Thought I was set, then found out using Firefox that there’s a button to click near the bottom of the page that didn’t show using Chrome.

  • No PlayStation plus discount in HongKong, please check it.Thanks

  • Still waiting for the Sometimes You Vita game discounts that US got.

  • I missed out on the first stage of the Player Celebration event because the page to sign up on has a button that needs clicked that’s invisible on Chrome browser. I clicked a link near the top of the page to sign up and it took me near the bottom of the page and all it said was to be signed into PSN, which I was, so I thought I was all set. Only later I looked at the site on Firefox and found out there’s a button near the bottom of the page that needs to be clicked.

I wonder how many others might have thought they were signed up but couldn’t because it doesn’t work on Chrome browser.

    • And apparently I actually was signed up for stage one, since earlier I checked and got the notification on my PS5.
      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Still waiting on Plus and Now discounts….
