  • Never played the original Bioshock games, so this is great news for me!

Anyone know how 1 & 2 hold up in this collection?

  • I am sure there will be salty losers that always find a reason to complain but as far as I am concerned February PS+ lineup is fantastic. These are 5 quality games for free.

    • 3 quality games, not free it’s a subscription service and 2 of those free games we already got with PS+ and bioshock one everyone already bought.

  • I don´t get the hate, Bioshock collection is a great title (even as a remaster, it includes 3 games plus DLC) and is one of the greatest game franchises of the past gen… whoever is complaining about that must have brain damage. The sims 4…. well, it exists, and if sales numbers are any indication, people actually still loves it. And for the Vr users, (or if you eventually buy a psvr), they get one of the better multiplayer titles for it.

People just want Sony to give them Just released itles and things that EXACTLY CATER to their wishlist, but that ain´t gonna happen. Still ps+ is a great value proposition from sales to this little “rentals” (since you only have them as long as you subscribe… but why wouldn´t you anyway?).

I´ve been a subscriber for over 5 years now, and the amount of value I´ve goten from the ICG is staggering, even when maybe a month gives nothing that interests me (or downright horiible months, there are some…) , It´s way more often that I come across something I´ve ended up loving but that I would have not considered buying myself (Age of conan for example, Xcom2… countless others).

So yeah, Great month TBH, great job from sony to get back from a rather… slow start (january was a little meh objectively since The drake collection is pretty much owned by everyone at this point… I did not had them but I get the dissapointment from most people).

    • You are overstating your case, as a wise Klingon once said. It could be a LOT better than it is. Charging people a fee for basic console functionality (playing online) is still a legal scam, deny it all you like.

  • Not necessarily a bad month, because the quality of the games are good and there are three, but having current generation remastered titles from last generation like the Bioshock Collection does hurt this month, especially when it’s been particularly cheap for years, default and sale price wise. Firewall may also be a current generation and good game, but it’s exclusive to the less popular platform. Very weird month.

  • That is pretty great for the 50 or so people out there that don’t already have the BioShock games I suppose. Well maybe I’ll give Sims 4 a try finally since that is one of those types of games I wouldn’t actually want to pay money for to give it a shot, heh. Hey, at least Sony is finally trying a little bit this time.

  • I’ve been wanting to get the Bioshock Collection for a while now, glad we’re getting it like this. It’s been many years since I played them for the last time, I almost feel I will be playing them for the first time. Sims and FW are great additions, but I don’t have PS VR. :(

  • Nice! I’m definitely happy with these games! Keep it coming Sony! Can’t wait for what you have in store for 2020 and beyond!!

  • Well this is garbage, we already got bioshock 2 and infinite from ps plus and maybe even bioshock 1 I don’t remember because I bought it a long time ago and Sims really Sims… sigh…

    total bust.

  • Oh really?…people are actually pleased with yet another trashy month?…this goes down as what 2nd maybe the very worst month ever?…lol at the statement that you’re getting 5 games,3 lame recycled games don’t count for nothing brain dead sheeps that love to support anti-consumer practices. Not even gonna comment on sims 4 but at least it’s a PS4 game.

Glad to see Firewall there…or this might have been the 1st month that I would literally not touch the games, december and january were crappy but at least I added titanfall 2 and goat simulator to ma library just for the heck of it.

  • Bioshock is so old you practically ported it from Atari, and the Sims? That will be a nice game for the extreme casuals to play in between taking care of their crops in Farmville. Thanks for another bad month. And VR? Cracked.com is often wrong on a lot of things, but when they said “Nobody wants to wear stupid crap on their heads”, they really nailed it. VR will die for the second time just like it did in the 80’s and it wont stick around until you master that sci-fi “full dive” technology.

  • Lesee, game I have had on steam for 3, 4 years or more now. Game I got on Origin only because they did a “hey, get this for free today” thing. Game that requires a 200+ USD purchase to play. Another month of disappointment for me. If I had 5 bucks every month that that happened, I’d have gotten at least a free year’s worth of PS+ in the last couple years of having PS+ by now.

  • I already own the Bioshock collection and Sims 4. And I dont play co op or multiplayer even on my psvr sooooo the vr game is a no go either

  • Creo que este mes fue muy exitoso con los juegos que regalaron.

  • Wow, what an amazing month, thanks for reminding me to turn off auto renewal so I don’t waste another $60 on a year of trash.

    • I just did my laundry!
This information is just as important to you all as it is to tell you that I overpay $60 a year for this membership! Or something else useless!

    • Why can’t all comments contain useful information , sans whining and complaining about free games

  • I thought they said we were done getting PS3 games. Guess they’re bringing them back for 2020

  • Ignore the negative comments , This is great news for PS+ users ! Never played bioshock or sims 4 on console

  • LOL at people complaining about a service that gives you maintained servers, free games AND that is always on sale somewhere (I just bought another year for $39 on eBay) meaning it’s basically less than 4dollars a month.

  • So glad we got another PSVR game! Time to dust off the aim controller. I thought Sony forgot about us after dropping the Plus PS Vita and PS3 games.

I will also be playing Halo, Wolfenstein: Youngblood in RTX, Final Fantasy XV, A Plagues Tale: Innocence, and The Outer Worlds free on GamePass for PC! The hype for new consoles can wait in my book. I also really dig the allowed 2hr gameplay refund policy for Oculus and Steam unfavorable purchases!

  • Ok it’s a New Year at PlayStation and thing’s are rolling out to be a super special New year of Fantastic triple AAA title’s PS Plus is again in the forefront of the Greatest game service ever. • I got Firewall Zero Hour on day one so I’m glad more people will be able to try this amazing PSVR game! I loving all of the free content it’s been giving too!

  • anyone know if the escapists
two is being planed for free with ps +

  • Thanks for choosing some better games this month. I hope you include a PSVR game each month from now on. I think it would really help people in deciding to buy a headset if they know they would keep getting games for it from Plus. This was definitely a reason I bought my Vita back in the day. I had so many games for it linked to my account that it seemed worth spending the money on the buying the system.
