PS Plus: Free Games for June 2017

Dive into a frenetic co-op zombie slayer -- and a decidedly more mellow episodic adventure -- with this month's lineup.

Greetings, PlayStation Nation! The PS Plus lineup for June is in, and we have some excellent games to share. This month, we’ve got Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange.

Killing Floor 2 is a first-person co-op zombie shooter set in the immediate aftermath of Killing Floor. Tasked with descending into continental Europe to combat the outbreak of the zombie virus, players will form groups of up to six and work together to eradicate the undead and save civilization.

From there, rewind a bit with the excellent 5-part episodic adventure Life is Strange. Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time. Here’s the catch: changing the past can greatly impact the future. See for yourself why this one racked up critical acclaim and numerous awards.

    good line up as expected for ps4 or ps3. what about those who only have ps vita??show love to vita owners lol. i comment last time for uncharted to be on sale and it does at the folowing week after i comment.thanks sony and long live vita lol

      Exactly, the Vita is REALLY getting screwed, and I’m kinda sick of it. There are plenty of good indie games on the Vita even, but they pick horrible ones. Some PSP games would be more than welcome when compared to god awful indies.

    Alright finally getting something I don’t own yet. lol I’m totally down with Killing Floor 2. The rest I own on PC.

      That sucks. There is nothing worse than the feeling finding out a game you just bought is going to be free. Im sorry.

      On the bright side, having a physical copy means that if you drop PS+ you still own the game, and it wont take up as much space on your hard drive since its on disc.

      My condolences though.

      @ Alecj22 – That rule doesn’t apply to the dumb PS4 though…which puts the full damn size of the games on your HDD even though you got the damn disc.

    Been wanting to play Life Is Strange.

    Wish y’all’d put the PS3 and Vita games in the monthly video too. So I don’t have to go looking them up.

    I see the same comments complaining about wanting 4 year old triple A titles instead of these kinds of games. Difference is I’d rather have newer downloadable games… they’re something I wouldn’t buy, but I do buy all the AAA titles.

    Instead of all crap games each month why not big releases of earlier ps4 games. 1 good game beats 4 crap ones. N with the free to play games how come they no decent racing games free to play. Just a thought playstation

    very disappointed with ps plus game these past few months the only reason i still have ps plus is for the multyplayer x box gold games are much better.i do hope we get better games in future instead indie games no ones heard of or games you could complete in a day.

      I have XBG too and those are all very old games that I’ve played and beaten beside speedrunners. Yet PlayStation just gave me 2 games I’ve not. So I give the W to PS. Just because a game is given with AAA investment budget doesn’t automatically make it a better giveaway.

    As someone who has criticized PS+ in recent months for their lackluster freebies….this month is excellent. The best in a long while. Killing Floor is a great game….AAA level, and Life is Strange has gotten great reviews from nearly everyone who played it…..Its an experience that deserves to be had by all Playstation owners.

    I mean, i have XBox Live Gold, and they have done a good job, but this month Sony owns. I cant wait for next Tuesday to get my PS Plus games.

    Killing Floor is pretty good, I’m thankful. But Life is Strange is a disgrace, just like all “Tell Tale” Games. Jesus F@$#$ Christ, it’s a goddamn Hipster-Bissexual-Teenager simulator.

      I would gladly, gladly, without a second thought take one of those interactive movies over say, a generic CoD type FPS, anytime, anywhere. Especially one with a story as emotionally impactful as Life is Strange. Any day of the year.

      June 6th man…its always on tuesdays,so if the 1st day of the month has past a tuesday the games will be available on the next tuesday naturally.Thought this was common sense by now.

    For some reason I can’t find the whole game (all 5 episodes) on the PS+ as free, only Episode one and I already had the PS+ subscription active. Any ideas?

    2 crappy games for PS4 haha,I got nothing to complain about this is what Plus is for and this is why I pay for Plus…nothing better to receive for free games that ain’t worth a cent.Both Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange are perfect choices for Plus.

    I’m really glad about Abyss Odyssey,its been a while since I’m waiting for an opportunity to buy it and also Neon Chrome and Spy Chameleon are pretty nice.

    Gee thanks for nothing again. I’ve had ps plus for 3 years now and have a handful of the free game that are even remotely good. Its been a year since y’all have us NBA 2k 16 and that was the last good game we have got. Ps plus is such a rip off and we are forced to subscribe to it if we want to play online. Thanks for making an expensive hobby even more expensive.

    Good lineup. Too bad I already own Life Is Strange. That game is cool, but the issue with it is the ultimately none of your decisions end up truly mattering to the overall outcome. It’s still pretty fun though.

      Nvm. I think Friday The 13th and Need For Speed should be next months video game lineup. Personally, I think it’s a pretty good deal and I think Sony would be friggin legendary if they made those two games free. Plus, maybe more people will get PS Plus for Friday the 13th

    First PlayStation drops the ball with getting FULL mod support for Skyrim and Fallout 4. Then they drop the ball yet again by giving us crap games like this smh. I’m beginning to question Sony’s logic at this point. For someone who wants to be the best system out there they are making alot of decisions that aren’t the best. -_-

    Honestly I think the only notable title PlayStation has released was 2k. I’m still waiting for them to give us a game that’s not a bust. For the most part the games they give us are a joke.     well this is disappointing, they finally add another good co-op game and its one i already have. next month cant come soon enough, though i’ll probably be disappointed with next months free games as well
