Tickets Update: We’re looking into issues users are having getting tickets to this year’s E3 Experience. Stay tuned for updates.

5/31 Update — Some changes and updates on ticket and seat availability:

  • Ticket registration will open today, Wednesday 5/31/17, at 1:30PM PT.
  • There was a brief system test last night which allowed a small number of tickets to be claimed. As of this morning there are still plenty of tickets remaining at each theater.
  • If you received a ticket confirmation email you are guaranteed a seat at the event if you present your valid ticket at least 30 minutes before show time.
  • We will be admitting those without tickets on a first-come first-served basis after all present ticket holders are seated.

E3 is almost here and I’m excited to announce that the PlayStation E3 Experience is returning for 2017! Join us on Monday, June 12th in over 85 theaters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This is the fourth year we’re broadcasting our E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and I can’t wait to bring the excitement of E3 straight to you. Watching the announcements and news alongside other members of the PlayStation community is an experience like no other.

Attendees will take home an exclusive poster and #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series. This will be the only way to get your hands on these, so don’t miss out! Want more than just limited edition swag? We’ve got you covered — everyone will also get a digital gift basket chock-full of goodies from PlayStation Store.

Tickets for US and Canada

Tickets are 100% free and will be available at playstation.com/E3experience starting Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 AM PT while supplies last. To register for a ticket, you will need to create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used to create your Gofobo account.

Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Make sure to arrive early! Receiving a ticket does not guarantee you a seat. Attendees must be 17 years of age or older to attend this event. A valid form of ID providing age will be required to enter.

    Can’t say I’m surprised at this. At least eventgrid was just slowed down heavily, and supported held tickets if the connection dropped. gofobo supports no such thing.

    This is ALMOST as painful as waiting for Sony to announce SOCOM is returning ;)

    As I anticipated, the highly suspicious website gofobo couldn’t handle the traffic. Happened the first year with EventGrid, but they managed to just deal with heavy slowdown for the years after. Not sure why PlayStation is working with this odd website.

    Yea i have no idea why they did this site. Its nothing but a movie site with sweepstakes, special screenings. Its not meant to handle things like this. At least with eventbrite it would most likely not crash just be slow.

    IIRC, the eventgrid year was the best experience. didn’t full on die.
    Hard to argue with the price though and the fact that I have a theater less than ten minutes from me, but still the stress… lol

      The problem with Event Brite was if you wanted to add a guest, they asked for the full address. Which sucked if they lived somewhere different. At the event itself, they don’t even check for address, so couldve just put the same address.

      This year, pre-create the account in Gofobo, which saves the time there. But yeah it’s expected to crash. Plus I’m sure there’s even more people trying to access this year compared to last year.

    soooooooo, what game are you guys most hyped to see at E3??

    I wanna see a friggen SOLID release date for Gran Turismo Sport, and Days Gone (2017?), and I dunno if Rockstar even does E3 (?) but a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. Oh and I almost forgot about that lil game called DETROIT!

    Ace Combat GAMEPLAY footage would be nice to finally see.

    But my top 2 games have gotta be DEATH STRANDING (gameplay reveal or introduction of one of the main female characters in the game…)

    Oh, and Socom, Socom Remastered.

    Have you boys and girls heard of Socom? You know, the most requested game to be remade / remastered yet probably the only HUGE ps2 game to not be remastered yet lol…

    Socom.

      Ni No Kuni 2 for sure. I would also love for Timesplitters to be brought back in some way. I’m aware of the TS Rewind fan project coming to PS4, but I’m afraid it will get shut down like all other fan projects these days.

      Omg how could I forget THE LAST OF US 2… I will have Ellie break my F*king finger if I ever forget the last of us 2 again :P Should definitely see more of that at E3, but Uncharted The Lost Legacy as well!

      And yes Timesplitters has been in the making for a long while… I dunno why it’s so hard to bring such a loved game back, that game was badass, LEVEL EDITOR INCLUDED… see what a level editor has done to GTA V Online? You’d think other companies would take note.

But also one more thing – Uncharted The Lost Legacy is I think the most underrated hit coming soon… we all know how awesome Uncharted is but there isn’t too much hype for the new one since it’s coming out so soon and we’ve seen so little, but I expect Chloe to have some awesome melee moves different than Drake, and the action to be awesome as usual! Can’t wait, that and Crash Bandicoot are good enough to keep me happy for the Summer, anything else coming out then will be a nice surprise.
