PS Plus fans, we’re pleased to share with you two excellent PS4 PS Plus games for June.

First up, to help get everyone hyped for the NBA Finals, we’ve teamed up with 2K to add NBA 2K16 to the June lineup. One of the most critically acclaimed sports titles ever, NBA 2K16 has tons of great gameplay for everyone. With robust offline modes like MyCareer and MyGM, and deep online modes including MyTeam and MyLeague, there is an incredible amount of content to offer all types of gamers. So be the baller you always wanted to be and guide your team to the NBA Championship.

Next up is Gone Home: Console Edition. Gone Home is one of the most talked about titles from the last few years for good reason. While it’s an interesting exploration/adventure game, it’s the narrative of Gone Home that’s so remarkable. The game has a strong development team, including Steve Gaynor, who worked on a few titles in the BioShock series. The Fulbright Company (now just Fullbright) created an intimate and unique story that is well worth your time.

    If there gonna give free games away then they should bring back PlayStation home and put it on the PS4 .that would be great way to meet other gamers besides the few you meet in friends chat parties and it would be fun like it was on the ps3.

    I would like to say this this is second month the they give out a none 8bit and you guys still complain I don’t play sports but guess what u dont have to download it stop complaining dang! Thanks Sony for another good game no matter what its still not 8bit I’ll try it even though I don’t play sports plain and simple

    Let’s see, after last month getting Tropico, PS4 gets… two very niche games. Another [Sport] [Year] game, and an interactive exploration title.

    So, yay if you like churned out yearly sports game, or interactive exploration story titles? Maybe July’s games will give me more hope in using PS+ for more than online connectivity for a few games.

    After a couple of months of games I don’t care about, this lineup is a breath of fresh air. A AAA retail game and gone home! I have been wanting to play gone home for a while. The horror game will be right up my girlfriend’s ally and I will definitely be playing echochrome. Little Deviants looks cute, too. I’m finally excited for PS Plus!

    Hm, can’t say I’m impressed. The second dud lineup in a row that I’ve been counting. I’m at least curious about NBA 2K16, but I don’t know that I’d consider it worth it. None of the other games are ones I’ve heard of at all. Meanwhile, Xbox is getting Goat Simulator and XCOM this month. I get that you shouldn’t complain about free stuff, but when the free stuff is supposed to be the main draw of the program (aside from forcing it for PS4’s online, anyway…)

    I don’t know why so many people are hating on this lineup…2K alone pays off a year of membership. This is a much better lineup then it has been recently and if you really want a game buy it yourself.

    If you have a problem with the PS Plus lineup, then stop renewing your membership. This is an added perk, not something that’s obligatory. Gamers can be the most entitled pricks on the planet at times.

    For months we beg for a bit title.. You finally give us one, which i appreciate , but NBA 2k is a game only basketball fans would have any interest in. Sad, really. I’ll play and enjoy, but millions will see it as a face slap, and understandably so. A tripleA action/adventure game would shut most of us up. Yall should get on that before you and xbox start losing more customers for selling us half finished consoles. Off subject,but the ps4.5 and xbox 1.5 are a real nut kick to gamers who cannot afford another system. Wouldn’t have upgraded from ps3 to ps4 last year had i known you a$$hats were planning this

    I’m not going to sit here and say the lineup is terrible cause it’s just Sony trying to get into the NBA season. But you could have received replaced Gone Home with another title that people would have liked such as Destiny,Saints Row,Injustice or another title for your players that don’t like sports games. Cause it is a slap to the face.

    I guess the only offset to this is that the ps2 section has a price drop going on so I can pick up Place and other titles.

    I already got Echochrome,Little Deviants and GoW but this is a helluva great lineup.I don’t waste ma time nor money with sports game but I love basket and NBA 2K6 won’t hurt haha I always wanted to see it on PS4,looking forward to Gone Home too and thank you very much for Siren,that is the exact kind of game you should always think about giving it for free.Great month just great.

    Ive bin a sony fan for the Longest time. and honestly i would not even be a psplus mem. If i did not need it to play online. I stop looking foward to the line ups they have. But thanks for trying.

      I have to say I agree ps online was a way for them to force people to need ps plus, unless they are some billy who just likes story based games, not that they ain’t great but online stuff is good too. tropico was a good one for me recently but its not a title many will like

    I can appreciate NBA is a big title, not for me really, never been into basketball since the atari days, I enjoyed one such title then but football will always be my sport, oh and wrestling, that’s not NFL btw for those americans. I don’t know about gone home, can’t see it being a big hit but last month was pretty good, so I guess these days it’d be too much to ask to have two good months in quick succession.

    I’ve never commented on the PlayStation forums before but this has driven me to do so.

    When I first signed on for PS+ when I purchased a PS4 2.5 years ago I was excited about the prospect of free games that all of my PS3 owning friends had raved about whilst I was stuck on the 360.

    As time went on I went from having gems like Transister, Resogun & First Light; to the current less than stellar line ups.

    I do not [nor did I ever] own a PS3 & am disappointed that Sony has not introduced backwards compatibility [they give us the abysmal NOW] so that I might try last generations games.
    Now sadly it isn’t even offering [in my opinion] games worth my subscription to their services.

    If the newness of the games is a concern release older indie or digital games like Super Motherland, or Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry.
    Give us DiveKick or Banner Saga.
    Retro City Rampage or Binding of Isaac.

    Anything other than something that forces me to walk across a room to read the next page of a dairy.

    I used to worry of purchasing interesting indies in fear that you would offer them to me for free a month later.

    Now I know that I shouldn’t panic; since Sony is content giving us dregs like old PC games and Basketball.

    I’ve been thinking about buying an Xbox lately because I’m not happy with the complete utterly crap we’ve been getting since FONY forced us to pay for PS+ to play online.
    I’m also not happy with FONY’s customer service!
    I’ve been playing the PS since 1999, but I’ve been thinking about selling both my PS3 and PS4 lately.
    This doesn’t help!

      The games are fine, Im poor so I cant go out and buy every game I want. PS+ is a good way for me to stock up on games I would normally not be able to buy or wouldnt care for in the first place. Gone Home has piqued my curiosity aswell as Siren which is from a series that I have been meaning to get in to for a while now (along with fatal frame)

      besides, Microsoft and Sony target different audiences with their free games program.

      Microsoft panders to a much younger demographic which is why they release alot of huge AAA action games…

      where as Sony goes with the 21 and older demographic and puts out more indie/slower paced games.

      of course, I would much rather have a new SEGA system that I could buy and loyally subscribe to whatever services they have… but hey, Im old. I will always be a SEGA fan til I die.

      Hate to break it to you, but previous years had things like Prototype, X-Com, Bioshock Infinite, Remember Me and so on.

      Recent years have had…. Things that aren’t even worth pirating on the PC.

      PSN+ was the sugar that coated the poison when it first came out. Sure it was awesome six years ago, when it was not mandatory.
      Now that it’s mandatory, they throw out garbage as “Free games” to keep new people from hating them, while promptly ignoring old members constant complaints.

    It’s funny how people complain about getting free games, everyone complaining should just grow up and stop ******** about everything. Life doesn’t pick one person and only give them what they want. Sony doesn’t just think of a few people, and also for any game to be free Sony has to work with the developer to get it on PS+. Keep up the good work Sony.

      People paid a premium for a service and do not feel that their money is well spent.
      Many didn’t like the idea of having to pay-to-play online since only Microsoft required pay-to-play in the past [and it was considered by the majority to be a rip-off].

      The edge was taken off of Sony’s foyer into the paid-online market by the free games being offered.

      Most are complaining because they want to see a change in the service and continue giving money to the company they have loyalty towards.

      If their concerns continue to be ignored or rebuffed they can [and likely will] stop paying for the service.

      This issue is coming up more and more frequently when it comes to the PS4 releases.
      There are a multitude of smaller games and AAA titles that Sony could easily afford to pay the developers to appear on PS+ for free [which is how they subsidize the cost of making the game free for PS+ members].

    If you have a PS3, go for Siren! I’ts a pretty hard to find game in physical copy. This is a really good survival! Gone Home is in my list and G.O.W too. When PSN give us 3 good games or more, peoples still complain! Peoples complain about PS3 when they are still many users ( PS4 is not cheap) And about Vita…Who have you try it more than 1 hour? Vita is a really good console! The Problem was not the console but the lack of games on is first year. But everybodu who own one than I know agree than this is the best portable ever made!

      Try something new. Gone home can be a really great experience. Sorry if you already bought most of these games. Hopefully next month will be better. We as a community need to be more grateful for the service

    Actually, this lineup is better than what I’ve seen in a long time, but that still doesn’t mean that it doesn’t suck. Playstation always throws out indies and bad games to players with the concept of feeding a bag of leftovers to a pack of raccoons. They give us the old games that never sell well and hang loosely on the Playstation Store, but sometimes throw in a AA game wildcard. This is how Sony can easily make more money from PS Plus. What they don’t understand is that the 4/5 of us that are multi-console players know there’s more out there to be dispersed other than these indies. We look at Xbox’s lineups to games and we see AAA games being thrown out like there’s no tomorrow. These games are always fun, and almost never get boring or repetitive. This is why us players complain and riot at Sony because we can clearly tell that they’re half-assing us on free games. We know that if Sony actually gave a #$@! to their players that everyone could be getting a Ratchet and Clank or a Hot Shots Golf every month. It is completely idiotic of Sony to lock players into a never ending cycle of crappy indies. All they want to do is make money.

An added bonus of this service is that you get free games a service that Sony is not obligated to give you. Be happy that you get some free games. It’s people like you that are going to end up ruining this generous service

      Before we turned into Xbox Live ; The games offered “For free” were actually pretty damn good- The sales were amazing and the discounts were something out of this world.

      Sadly, this is the future of gaming.

      I don’t know who’s running thing now, but for the love of God, they need to go back, reflect on what the people who where here before them did and try those things again.

      I sort of liked it when Sony systems had more than 5 exclusives at a time.

      Some people would think otherwise about the games they are giving us in quite happy with them. Thereare also more than one type of game genre . Some people like indie games, some like racing, some like fps, some like mobas, some like beat em ups. They have to reach each of these genres so everyone gets a taste of what they love

    Really looking forward to ‘Siren’, as it’s one of those (many) games I’ve been meaning to buy for a long time now, but just never did. ‘Gone Home’ sounded just like my thing when I first heard about it, and the acclaim only increased my enthusiasm, but I admit I was let down by what I got.

    you say the games you offer are free. nothing is free. You pay for these games when you purchase your playstation plus membership. I pay you for the right to play them on your network. which is fine, but its not free. lol. I have a playstation 4 so i might buy a membership and give it a shot. looks pretty good. If your a person that still has a playstation 3 its pretty much a rip off cause i have experienced playstation plus with a playstation 3, there is nothing to do. I couldn’t even find anybody that still plays games online multiplayer with playstation 3. everytime i get online nobody is ever there. everyone over on playstation 4.

    you pretty much have to have a playstation 4 to get any real enjoyment out of playstation plus. I do have the new uncharted 4 game right now that i bought. I bet that game is a lot of fun online with multiplayer. that game just came out and there while probably be lots of people online to play with you. right now im just doing the offline campaign though and the game is a blast, i defenitley reccomend buying the game if you havent bought it yet. Its worth the price you pay for it.. I love the entire drake series.

    Lol. No. Who are you kidding?

    Gone Home isn’t even worth pirating, let alone getting “for free”.

    Gone Home proved that reviewers can be bribed to say anything is good, or did you guys forget that they rated this 5 minute suckfest higher than The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, God of War 3 and Saint’s Row 4. Despite my personal opinion on the aforementioned games not being that hot, they were each infinitely better than what Gone Home offered.

    Hell, Linger in Shadows was better than Gone Home. You guys do remember Linger in Shadows…. Right? Riiiiiiiighhhht, you don’t.
    And the bigger irony? It’s longer than Gone Home.

    A literal tech demo, is longer than “THE MOST TALKED ABOUT TITLE …FOR GOOD REASON”.

    But whatever. Keep on tumbling down the hole. Say hello to Atari for me and let us all know when you launch your first Pachi-slot machine from the pit.

      Gone home has a different effect on different people. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it. That’s not sony’s problem so why don’t you stop posting about how “crap” the line up is get over yourself and just deal with it. They don’t have to give you these free games. So here is some advice get over it when you are given something take it and be grateful if you don’t want to use it then don’t. Think of the line up as a terrible gift from a relative. Would you tell your relative how terrible you think the gift is? Or be grateful and move on? Posting in this thread about how you hate the line up doesn’t solve the problem (you think exists) it jus makes you look like an ungrateful 10 year old.

      Remocnavig, you defend the anemic lineup as if you made them. Aside from 2K16 the offerings are pretty pathetic.
      And yes, I am paying for a service that includes the games. They are not free, it’s part of the package when you pay. And I only kept PS+ for the games until the lineups became so weak.
      So when people pay money for a service they have every right to say something when that service doesn’t meet expectations. You call them cry babies, but here you are complaining about them saying anything.
