PS Plus fans, we’re pleased to share with you two excellent PS4 PS Plus games for June.

First up, to help get everyone hyped for the NBA Finals, we’ve teamed up with 2K to add NBA 2K16 to the June lineup. One of the most critically acclaimed sports titles ever, NBA 2K16 has tons of great gameplay for everyone. With robust offline modes like MyCareer and MyGM, and deep online modes including MyTeam and MyLeague, there is an incredible amount of content to offer all types of gamers. So be the baller you always wanted to be and guide your team to the NBA Championship.

Next up is Gone Home: Console Edition. Gone Home is one of the most talked about titles from the last few years for good reason. While it’s an interesting exploration/adventure game, it’s the narrative of Gone Home that’s so remarkable. The game has a strong development team, including Steve Gaynor, who worked on a few titles in the BioShock series. The Fulbright Company (now just Fullbright) created an intimate and unique story that is well worth your time.

    I think this lineup is good I can’t wait to be able to play a current sports game for free good month sony do more months like this if possible please continue to give diverse games instead of just indie games

    Still waiting……………………………………… going to buy Xbox very soon if the slacking keeps up the games should come out on the first day of each month. We keep our end of the bargain by having ps plus so do your part and give us the games. Don’t say that these games are June’s games because they always go into next month too. Also Xbox gives way better games to their customers stop giving us all this side scrolling n64 crap. All the crap games you’ve been giving us should be free for ever they all suck. You know how many times I’ve played the games you give us? Once. When I try them to see if they suck and always the same outcome. You should just make better sales on good games instead of making free games. Or just give us one game that’s good. I rather have one good game then a library of bad games. You should give Psn veterans something too I’ve spent over 700 on Psn not including ps plus purchase. Don’t you think loyal customers deserve a break? Please make it worth staying with Playstation I really don’t want Xbox but will if you keep this up. I think I speak for everyone when I say all that.

    I tried looking up NBA 2K16 to download it this morning and it still shows up as 59.99. Why is this? Today is June 7th after all

    This is terrible. If I wanted to play sports (in july mind you) I would walk outside and play god damn sports. The other game for ps4 has some of the most harshly worded negative reviews I’ve ever read on the the user side of metacritic. Then your consoles that are waning off are getting these AAA games like it’s supposed to convince me to pick up that useless Vita or re-buy a playstation 3 because you’re too greedy as a company to make the Ps4 backwards compatible. Sony , DO BETTER. This is ridiculously terrible. I want my money back.

    Thank you sony for a AAA release, but i want to say there should be a line up like this everytime, I read people saying that if plus wasn’t REQUIRED for online play they wouldnt get it, sadly i agree because 90% of the time I dont like the line ups, i hate to gripe over it but seriously people these games are not FREE you have to PAY for your subscription right? call it free but charge you to get them? Anyways I want to end on a good note thank you sony for a decent month and keep those “FREE” games coming

    Pretentious Walking Simulator and Generic Sports Iteration **current year**.
    Worst lineup ever.

    I stopped paying for PS+ on PS3 because of the increased frequency months like this. I only recently signed up again because of Dark Souls 3 multiplayer. But at this rate, once my sub expires I will not renew as it is not worth the money I spent.

    And for those who say “but they’re free” — they aren’t. They are rentals that we payed for. At least a few years ago on PS3 we could get decent titles of many genres like Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Bioshock Infinite, Spec Ops: The Line, Saints Row 3, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Remember Me, X-Com, etc….

    I miss those days…

    Actually, I said I started to pay again with Dark Souls 3. And no just because you are a paying customer, it doesn’t mean you have to love everything offered. It also means that I can be critical and offer insight when dissatisfied.

    Also, is there a reason you need to insult the paying customer base?

    But yeah, I’ve been gaming for about 35 years and have played more than you could count. I also don’t like wasting my money on pretentious walking simulator and generic sports iteration, of which I’ve played plenty in the past.

    Still wondering how my reasoned arguments and dissatisfaction with the service equates ignorance or the logic equating that of a 5 year old logic?

    Day 1 subscriber, first time poster. Wanted to chime in and say I’m very pleased with the selection this month. It’s nice to see a current AAA for once. I think the last time I was really happy for a free title provided was when they offered Rocket League. A lot of people I know have given up they’re PS Plus subscriptions entirely which is unfortunate. Steps to provide deluxe titles is necessary to draw people back and to keep their subscriber base. Hopefully this month is a trend towards the positive. I’d also like to see better PS Vita support as owners are that system sorely need to be shown some love. In any event, thanks for the not so forgettable line up! Keep it up.

    I am no longer a member of PS Plus because lack of good games. When I had my PS3 I couldn’t download the free games fast enough.
