  • Clements, could you put the developer name with each game?

    • haha i don’t know if he want do that.. Are you hyped for Uncharted 4 next week ?

    • Is there goin be any new releases for ps3 or naw

    • @Aaron1752
Probably once in a blue moon. There are some indie companies still supporting the PS3, but everyone else has moved on. I doubt that there will be much support from 3rd party publishers, especially after MS just recently discontinued production of the 360.

    • A word of warning about THE PARK….the PC version is very short, about 1.5 hours long. Personally, I wouldn’t pay more than $4.99 for a game that short but I’m sure it’ll be $19.99. You’ve been warned.

    • +1 on the park.
Very. Very, VERY short. It’s not even two hours long. Not kidding. I’m not sure how they think they are getting more than $5 for something that is as long as a single telltale game episode but who knows.

    • I hear Superhot is an hour longer and they want $24.99?!

    • Exactly. I know Sony doesn’t set the prices for 3rd party developers but anything more than $4.99 for this game would be a serious rip.

    • Could be worse I guess. This is what happens when indie developers are let onto stores. I am not against indie games, but it feels like many of them have gotten lazy lately and this is a prime example. Another is how rovio thinks they are getting $30 for the angry birds games.

Park isn’t bad. It’s just very very short. Shorter than a single telltale games episode. This is why we need quality control on the store front. At least to the extent to where Sony requires a certain price cap.

  • None of those games are interesting to me.. Can’t wait to play Uncharted 4 next week like 8 more days left. Go Nate Drake !!!!!!!!!!!! Naughty Dogs should release UC 4 on Tuesday if Spoilers keep getting more bigger and bigger each day until it come out on May 10

  • Neverending Nightmares sounds interesting.

  • KOF 2000! YESSSSS!!!

  • Ray Gigant for PS Vita looks awesome! Day 1!

  • I want to download TTR but I cant, the games for april are still available and the ones for may are not.

    • They aren’t available until the first Tuesday of the new month when the store updates, it has been this way since literally forever.

  • Kof 2000
    Shadow complex
    Neverending Nightmares

    My wallet is ready.

Does anyone have an opinion on “Ray Gigant”?

    • Buy it currently reviewing it and its awesome. You are in for a treat.

    • Thanks. Will do.

    • What other series can “Ray Gigant” be compared to?

    • Judging by another comment you made, it looks as though you are into the Metroidvania type games. That is my favorite style, 2D Metroidvania style exploration. Shadow Complex is all about that and a great game! Might I recommend a few others if you haven’t already played them? Dust-An Elysian Tail, Ori and the Blind Forest and Axiom Verge are ALL great games. SOTN is still my favorite of this type though. Laterz man…

  • FINALLY BATTLEBORN!!!! I’m pre-loading now, can’t wait and table top racing looks fun :)

  • Ray Gigant
    Shadow Complex Remastered
    King of Fighters 2000

KoF2000 has a maybe, pricing of PS2 titles is kind of garbage at the moment. Waited till they went on sale before buying.

Can’t wait to see the rest of tuesday’s line up. Just happy to see PS Vita releases poping up.

  • And again how hard would it be to list prices along with each title in The Drop each week…….

    • Why are you slow to understand that its not happening.

    • Why do you have to be rude to a total stranger who was just expressing a basic thought?

    • We’re not being rude; we’re just being realistic. They probably do have things that prevent them from releasing the pricing information. Like publishers telling them not to, or the fact that some games can get delayed at the last minute.

  • Please give us some information on Star Ocean: Second Evolution coming to PS4/VITA/PS3, it would be a great game to release before Star Ocean 5 comes out. A simple answer on whether we will get it would be nice.

  • I’m gonna pass on battleborn i think its gonna flop with a huge thud. I’ll probably just grab the free plus games to hold me over till Uncharted 4 ONE MORE WEEK BABY !!!

    • Hell Yeah, i think Battleborn’s sale gonna be flop like it sold 150,000 copies during launch week.. Uncharted 4’s sale gonna be 2 millions copies during launch week. Haters will shut up and cry about Uncharted 4 sale is best and has alot positive reviews on alot sites like IGN, game informer and Gamespot

    • People still play Uncharted games? Overrated if you ask me. Hope new IPs like Battleborn blow old tired franchises like Uncharted out of the water. We already know Nathan Drake is going to kick the bucket too, so why bother?

  • Ray Gigant for me this week!

I don’t know much about the indies releasing this week, but might pick one or even two after checking some more on them.

  • Ray Gigant has earned some really great reviews for being a hybrid visual novel. A google search indicated that it is PS TV compatible: YAH! The only downside is that apparently it is digital-only in the U.S. The only retail copies I could find were Japanese imports. Now I gotta free up some room so I can do my day-one download.

  • Nah, not a big fan of the King of Fighters series (I’m more into Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and SoulCalibur (mainly because of the guest characters)), but I would try out that Table Top Racing World Tour game since I liked arcade-style racing games.

  • Ray Gigant….looking to get it after I finish Moe Chronicle and Operation Abyss.

Wish Namco made a physical version.

All of the localized first person DRPG had a physical version….

  • Hi , Sony Im hoping to release need for speed most wanted ( PS2 version ) in Ps4 ps store
Thanks for your great things you’ve been doing for the Fans .

  • It is good to see games on Vita but I wish that games like GTA, Infamous, Mass Effect, NBA 2K were the ones released. And bring PS2 classics and Arcade Archives (from PS4) to Vita.

    • Same! Now that rockstar has released GTA V and isn’t doing many new things right now they should get on Sanandreas stories for vita. Lol

  • Wow that picture for Ray Gigant instantly reminds me of Renton and Eureka from Eureka 7

  • Oh, Neverending Nightmares for Vita and Shadow Complex remastered for PS4… I’ll take those, please.

  • First off HA! got another Xbox title.
    And a pretty good one.
Second, is KOF just a PS2 title or does it support online play?

  • Nothing too interesting this week, but I’m okay with that since I’m expecting Uncharted 4 on Monday/Tuesday. Plus I just borrowed a digital copy of Dark Souls 3 this weekend so I’m pretty into that right now.

  • Battleborn!! “We were born for this” Already pre-ordered. Interested in Shadow Complex too.

  • Super pumped for Battleborn this week. All my buddies are picking it up too :D We absolutely loved the beta.

  • OMG!!! Thank you for finally putting the PS One classic, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, on the Playstation Store! The game has long been one of my favorites and it looks and plays great on my PS Vita. Oh, wait a minute…. I’m actually playing Tenchu: Stealth Assassins on my hacked PSP. My mistake!

  • No Attack on Titan game

  • Was gonna get Ray Gigant but the lack of a physical release pushed it into the “wait for a sale” category.

  • Am I the only one who wants to play The Park? XD

    • Out of all the millions of PS4 players in the world. I would say yes, Yes you might be.

    • I’m interested in playing it too, but after I saw someone post about a super short completion time for the PC version it kinda killed my interest in it quite a bit.

    • The Park is also based a bit on the horror MMORPG The Secret World, so not also short, nieche

    • Idk. I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not bad at all. It’s okay. But if they want anymore than $5 for it don’t buy it. I bought it on steam, and finished in less than an hour. Not even kidding. Me and many others got a refund for that reason. It’s wayyyyy too short but $20. It’s shorter than a single telltale games episode. Again, it’s NOT bad, but when a 20 dollar game lasts only 45 or so minutes there’s a problem.

  • Damn PS3 rarely ever gets drops anymore.

    • I have a ps4 which I play more, but I agree. It’s sad. The ps3 era was my favorite era in gaming and had a lot of fun with GTA IV, Fallout 3 , PS home and more.

  • Getting Battleborn. Also KoF 2000 finally on PS4 though it was announced in the initial list. Hopefully we get ’98 UM and 2002 UM. Though I am surprised 2000 is solo since on PS2 it came with ’01 at least in the US. ’02 came with ’03.

Oh, I was hoping Last Blade 2 pre-order would be up this week.

  • According to the trophy list KOF 2000 won’t support online play (it’s only a PS2 emu)… If anyone knows about this please let me know. I’d love to play that game online

    • Game is the PS2 version which did not have online. It does support Share Play and so you could play online that way, but unless SNK does a new collection for PS4, we are not likely to older KoF games with online play on PS4. They could bring over ’98 UM and ’02 UM which had online play on Xbox Live and Steam.

    • Even if it was a PS2 remastered/emulation version, I think it’s good we’re getting SNK games at all.
Ideally, I want these compiled on 1 disc:
The King of Fighters ’94 Re-Bout
      The King of Fighters ’95
      The King of Fighters ’96
      The King of Fighters ’97
The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match
      The King of Fighters ’99
      The King of Fighters 2000
      The King of Fighters 2001
The King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match
      The King of Fighters 2003
      The King of Fighters XI
      The King of Fighters XII
      The King of Fighters XIII
      The King of Fighters NeoWave
      NeoGeo Battle Coliseum
      SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom

    • Regardless of if it had online it wouldn’t matter. All ps2 online titles used DNAS which Sony shut down last month.

    • I completely think it is possible that in the future if they release a game that has online play from PS2, they might actually attach them to new servers. We have just not seen any get released that once had online play already and I think partly because of that fact. We will have to wait and see on that aspect though.

  • Can’t wait to play Shadow Complex again! It was my favorite XBLA game when I had my 360. So stoked to see it finally show up on a Sony console. Highly, highly recommend it for fans of Metroid-vainia type games. The main character totally reminds me of Drake also (not just because he’s voiced by Nolan North). Other than that game I’ll be very impatiently waiting for Uncharted 4 to drop next week!

  • What happened to Tropico? It’s the first freebie I was actually looking forward to.

  • So hyped for KOF XIV, I may just pick up KOF2000 this week. Also looking into this Buff Knight, because… how could I not with that name? :)

  • Would it be asking too much for:
The King of Fighters ’94 Re-Bout
    The King of Fighters ’95
    The King of Fighters ’96
    The King of Fighters ’97
The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match
    The King of Fighters ’99
    The King of Fighters 2000
    The King of Fighters 2001
The King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match
    The King of Fighters 2003
    The King of Fighters XI
    The King of Fighters XII
    The King of Fighters XIII
    The King of Fighters NeoWave
    NeoGeo Battle Coliseum
    SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom
…to be put out on 1 disc for the PS4?
Perhaps call it like SNK Legacy Collection or something.

  • Shadow Complex sweet.

  • These characters from “Ray Gigant” does looks like “Eeureka Seven” main characters from the anime i use to watch.

“Push me pull me” also looks like “Catdog” from the 90s cartoons show i use to watch too.

    Where the lawsuit ppl.

  • Shadow Complex Remastered. Ah hell, it’s about time!

  • 3 VITA exclusive games in 2 weeks and all of them are old school dungeon crawler rpgs XD

  • Coffin Dodgers looks fun, would really like a demo.
    Definitely getting KoF 2000.
Never Ending Nightmares and The Park look ok.
It says Shadow Complex is a recycled version I’m assuming it was on PS3?…hmm I heard of it before, never played it but looks good too.
Also looking forward to try Table Top.
And buying Battleborn too in the distant future.

A pretty good drop this week hu.

  • Hey, is there anyway this blog could add what is on sale for the week as well? That would be awesome.

    • They almost always wait till Tuesday to announce any sales and that is usually after you can see the sales in the store. However, Sony is far from alone in that regard. Probably because things can change last minute.

  • PMPY HYPE!

  • When will the may PSNow lineup be revealed?

  • yes but Sony does not need Xbox games it has 35 to 1 on games go look at there line up my Xbox one is a dust collector now days every game 3rd party if its not a giant AAA is usually only on PC and ps4 and don’t get me going on jrpgs there dead as hell on x1 .

this is why i always own all the consoles and a killer rig i love games but dam sony has a way bigger library and i mean bloody giant i own nearly every game on both consoles and not duplicates all games that are on both i buy on ps4 , but still shadow complex is better and more fun than i had on quantum break so its nice to give it a go for the trophies .

  • Was less than blown away with the Battleborn Demo so i will likely be passing on that game and stick with waiting for Overwatch and Paragon to come out.

Conversely, very excited for Shadow Complex Remastered and finally getting to get my hands on this game. It may be old but it’s still a classic.
