First up is the island dictator sim Tropico 5, featuring the long-running virtual dictator, El Presidente! Tropico 5 is a full-fledged city-building game based on the fictional island nation of Tropico. Inside this not-so-subtle parody, El Presidente guides and directs the everyday life of his beloved Tropicans using a firm grip and ridiculous edicts, all presented with a heavy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor.

And Table Top Racing: World Tour on PS4 is a high-octane combat racer from Nick Burcombe, the co-creator of PlayStation all-time classic Wipeout. Table Top Racing: World Tour is a total reinvention of the Table Top Racing universe, bringing micro combat-racing to a truly next-gen audience for the first time.

    –agh–again—Why ARE Microsoft employees working for Sony?? These titles have been horrible for MONTHS NOW.
    It’s hard to defend my playstation with STEAM people now..cmon…give us something to brag about, something worth our membership..

    Are you kidding me guys you ask for AAA and they give it to you and you still complain? i was with you until this months announcement too many indy games of the same type then they deliver a solid AAA city builder and what seems like a solid AA racer and you still are not satisfied?

    so the games you want AAA fps and action games why in the world would they give those to you? your just like the rest of the sheep your going to buy them no matter what so why give them out for free?

    PS3 games are Better but OLD
    and PSP games for the VITA OK if it floats your boat
    Bottom Line wont play any of them due to the fact UC4 will be out but I will add them to my list…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – even if the free games aren’t up your alley, the discounts/deals more than make up for it. Get over yourselves, people. Your parents may entitle you, but you won’t find the rest of the world so kind.

      $50 a year isn’t free! The discounts definitely help though. Getting stuff for %75 off instead of 50% is definitely part of what makes the service worth it but it’s not everything.

    Good mix, some well received titles. I’ll go through most of the games when I get the time.

    I don’t care for God of War, but it is a very popular series. PSP game doesn’t bother me.

    I think y’all are doing a fine job. My only suggestion would be to give us an option to hide games in our PS4 library… I like PS+ because I get to try out games I wouldn’t normally try, but it sucks having them stuck in my library if I don’t like them. Anyway, thanks for the freebies.

    Okay, more exciting than the PS+ line up is the backgrounder alerting me to a NEW SUPERGIANT GAME! On that note, I do have to give props to PS+ for giving me Transistor, my favorite game I played last year. So not every month appeals to me, and I don’t always download every game. I pay less than $5 a month, play online, and also buy a lot on the sales when PS+ gives me extra discount. I hardly feel ripped off.

    Reminder the Loco Roco Coccorecho is a psn game so old it predates trophies and never got any patched in.

      Lol, they’ve been reaching deep into the bag of old forgotten games lately. Super star dust was one of the first games on the psn and bionic commando 2 is almost just as old.

    Sony’s really jumping the shark here with the slew of consistently low-mediocre quality ps plus games and early abandonment of the PS4 “Basic”…glad I migrated to PC. Looks like Uncharted 4 will be my last PS game played on a Sony-made PlayStation…good-bye Sony, after almost 20 years of being a loyal PS supporter.

    Once upon a time a boy named Soda decided to buy a PS4 over Xbox One because of some exclusives that are now all being ported to PC except one. Soda and his friend enjoyed live streaming and were defiantly in the mood for something new and exciting to live stream. Neither of them enjoy space shooters and so they go on waiting for a fun multiplayer game to play for their streams with anticipation.

    Shut the he’ll up you ungrateful racers. You are given free games every month. It’s not guaranteed you’ll like them and that is perfectly fine considering the large amount of users. I personally like the free ps4 games but not going to lose my mind for every game I don’t like like a freaking zombie.

    Be grateful and relax. XBOX One free games are better? Switch and move along. Nothing to see here…

    I’m happy to see Tropico 5 on there. Looking forward to taking my time with that game.

    TableTopRacing looks like something I will have playing with my friends, and GOW: Ghost of Sparta will be a nice nostalgia trip.

      Thanks for reply ,and well said,wish they take care of our suggestions and opinions in sony ,and thanks about the info on why there is no sport i was saying the put pes my culd for free with some real players and clubs so why not,also no body by the old version of fifa for example likr 2014 or 2015 the buy always the new one so why the do not put it or nba free they put it in store and some time make disscount but no one buy that was my idea, anyway thanks and well said friend

    January was the last time they had a decent game for my PS3. My sub expires in 4 weeks and I have removed auto-renew and deleted FOP.

    And for all of you that keep talking about FREE games, for every $10 bill you send me, I will give you a FREE $1 bill. No limit

    Jesus tap-dancing Christ, these free games are getting worse and worse. Just give us something remotely fun to play. There’s older library games that are really good. They’re giving us relatively newer games but they’re AWFUL. HellDivers and Hardware Rivals were garbage.

    I am very grateful to get anything from PS+. Everyone complaining has got to be 25 and under. I remember when you got nothing in return when you paid for online. The fact that Sony and Microsoft are GIVING us the gamers anything is pretty awesome! Use older gamers can remember when we got a DEMO of a game how amazing that was, and now we are getting FULL games…. I am a THANKFUL gamer.

      Same! I remember originally getting PS+ years ago and being flabbergasted at the generosity, even when there weren’t any games I was particularly excited about. Older gamers like us also have the perspective to applaud Sony for not doubling up on offers either. They could probably appease a lot of people new to the program by offering Resogun or Transistor or MGSV: Ground Zeroes again, or any of the dozens of AAA titles they’ve previously given away on PS3, but they never have.

      Also, it bums me out that people write games off before they’ve tried them. I’ve found some real gems firing up a free PS+ game that I previously had no interest in. Sure, we’ve gotten some crap ones, but the few we’ve gotten that have become some of my favorite games of all time (Velocity 2X comes to mind) make it all worth it!

      Unless you’re old enough to remember this service on PS3, where online was and still is free and the games were what you were paying for. Many people who started this service on PS3 still expect the service they originally signed up for, which included good games every month.

    A bit of perspective for people singing the praises of Games with Gold: Xbox’s free game program is pretty young. Xbox has given out 115 games thus far in the existence of the program; Sony has given out 473. At some point, the well is going to start to run dry where premier titles are concerned. Right now, Xbox is in a sweet spot where they can give away AAA games from their back catalog and make it look like they’re giving out these amazing games every month, whereas Sony has already milked their back catalog and are still managing to give us 6 free games every month. I’m scrolling down the list of Games with Gold right now, and for the multi-platform games, I”d say Sony gave away 75%-80% of them as well at some point during PS+’s history. I think it’s to Sony’s credit that they haven’t started doubling up on games. Those of us who have been a part of PS+ for years now might be disappointed to see games get repeated, but it seems like they could keep a lot of these salty people new to PS+ happy by simply offering many of the AAA titles they’ve offered in years past over again. But they don’t, and I applaud this move, even if it means months where the lineups are a little disappointing.

    Honestly this line up is mediocre and ill give a shot at the ps4 games. There’s so little games that are worth downloading. Outlast was awesome, Resogun I love, First light was nice,Grow Home was unique, and Rocket League was amazing. Really other than that, just plain out sucks. Now some may agree or disagree with my list cause some views are different. But some games you give us are just really bad. I’d love to see a AAA Game, I know ps4 is newish and dont hzve that many to offer freely. But the Watchdogs leak should have been true. Maybe Heavy Rain? Something worth playing for more than an hour. I know I wont get a reponse from you guys, or a “Thanks for the recommendedation!” You only reply to people are ok with booty games.

Have self esteems gotten so low that people can’t enjoy something without a pat on the pack every few minutes? I dig the line-up this month.     I’m done with Sony’s free games I’m about to just sell this system and get an Xbox one I’m paying this money for PS Plus to get free games and discounts with my online and then I get Sh** games like zombi and dead star in April and now this line up. Come on Sony

    Not familiar with any of them but PS+ usually unearths a hidden gem for me; Broforce & GalakZ are the two most recent. I’m perfectly happy with the service lately. Good old fashioned addictive gameplay rather than a huge budget spent on writers, voice actors and shiny graphics… It makes a refreshing change from my usual buying habits, which had become repetitive.

    i like how all the people in the comments want a AAA game for ps4 when they dont realize tropico 5 is a AAA title and also all the titles they want they won’t get because they just came out. also the only reason xbox gets a few better games is cause they lost in sales so badly they have to make up for it so they try for more deals to get more sales on the one.

    As a long time PS+ user I’ll admit it hasn’t shined as bright as when it was mainly PS3+Vita. The titles we got on the PS3 were amazing and worth downloading, the PS4 titles on the other have gotten disappointing. Many people will find some of the games interesting or fun but a large majority won’t. If you’re tired of these titles don’t resub, if you need it to play online than ignore the free games till something good comes along. PS+ can’t cater to everyone so quit crying every month.

    Life is strange complete season
    Octodad
    Soma
    Submerged

    Also it would be nice in the video to showcase all the games and nor just the ones on ps4.

    I hope in the coming months plus gets better games because for a very very long time now it haven’t been that great and most likely I would of cancelled if I didn’t need it for online for my ps4.

    here’s the thing, when I make a bad choice as a consumer I blame myself and I should anyone else should as well.
    is that an excuse for how Sony is acting with not having Triple A games on PS+ free games, we’re putting out a sequel console not even halfway through the original consoles life cycle? no! this is why I usually do my due diligence, why I usually wait a good two years well over a year at least before I even think about purchasing a console. I purchased a Wii U,Xbox One, and Playstation 4 at the same time over a year ago during Black Friday 2014. I have greatly greatly regretted that decision in the last year and very much so in the last 6 months or more after the PlayStation 4.5 announcement ( and obviously other things with the other two consoles there) but honestly last console cycle I bought a PS3 reconditioned I still have it it runs perfectly and I have never regretted that decision. that is my true advice stop buying stuff new from these people I buy things as cheaply as I possibly can every single time and this is exactly why because they hate you they hate you they beat you when you’re down and it’s just really cruel so just get used to it there you go.

    Sheesh! It’s like Sony isn’t even trying anymore with the Free Games this generation. When the PS3 was going, we got some quality stuff on there. The games you guys are handing out are free and I still don’t download them. I understand Sony has the lead, but come on.

    Gotta say Sony, you may get a lot of hate on the free games, but I’ve been loving it. Been getting some cool games recently. Bro Force, Zombi, getting Tropico 5, Grim Fandango, the list can go on. Keep it up! Haven’t felt bad about any of the free games yet, since my subscription in December!

    Considering I liked Tropico Game series I like this months line up.

    A god of war game on vita and tropico doesn’t seem bad for a months memebership considering there is 3 other games you could also try. (If you don’t like the games simply don’t download them). I am pretty sure if people in high enough numbers don’t take the games on offer all it will be doing is saving money for sony. Sony has to find these deals for people for there service so stop being ungrateful considering what sony has given us for many years on ps3 (a lot of games over £10 for free). This list is a step in the right direction try praise this month istead of bitterness it might get you somewhere.

    If You like xboxs line up better thats fine but take this into consideration there elite control costs £90 -£120??.. hmm. Just to have a more conformatable controlller when the ps4 has a great controller you can use with your ps3 and ps4.

    So let’s pretend in a parallel universe Uncharted 4 was free in may. People who only play strategy, RPG or indie games would be all over these comments saying that PS+ is the worst piece of garbage ever. It seems that in any services or groups that allow spoiled brats used to have everything handed free to them, only the big complainers live.

    Hey, buy a 4000$ gaming PC and go get illegal torrents since you are entitled to get everything in life for free. Dang, you should actually go complain that the PC should be free since we’re at it since you used to play on a Wii U and now you’re disappointed by the price of a PC and think about going back to your old gaming system.

    You’re not happy with your service? Just cancel it and move on. Go to XBox Live and then, you will complain on their blog every time their line up is not tailored to your own personal tastes since you feel like the ones deciding should consult with you and only you every month.

    I know I’m a very happy user that will get Tropico 5 in may. Last month, I didn’t care much for Dead Star but my son enjoys it a lot.

    This is why I usually don’t scroll down to the comments, it’s always the same ones complaining month after month.

    all the complainers of the games really get on my nerves. you do realize the cost for most for ps plus a month equals only $4.16 cents a month if payed for by the 50$ once a year system… Lol I spend that in a day at vending machines at work. Im excited for the city building game. Two of these games I already own but that happens sometimes not going to whine about it, im sure there are thousands of people who have never played them and will enjoy. To many sense of entitlement people now a days~

    I always try out the games before calling them trash. Trial and error used to be what drove us to play. One AAA title I got on the PS3 was Need for Speed something or the other and it was based mostly on simulation driving. I absolutely suck at those but downloaded it and gave it a go anyway. I agree these days that PS4’s FREE GAMES aren’t as fulfilling as the days of old but they’re free damit!

    Ok Sony, so I don’t have a whole lot of money and would really like to say the Line up of ps4 games on plus free games is ludicrous. I have been a ps man 4 life but Sony come on. I am truly disappointed even a run of the mill old ok retail game would me better than this . Month after month we anticipate something awesome for free games and are let down. Shame shame Sony
