Drama. Magic. Zombies. Magic zombies? Maybe not that last one, but we’ve got the other three in spades with our new free games coming to PlayStation Plus. So without further ado, here are your PS Plus games for November!

Leading the (zombie) pack is critically acclaimed The Walking Dead: Season Two on PS4, by the expert storytellers at Telltale Games. The second season follows Clementine in her struggle to survive a world torn apart by the undead menace. Guide her actions and influence the game’s outcome as nail-biting choices must be made to keep on living.

Also available this month is Magicka 2 on PS4. This spell-slinging action game empowers you and your friends with the elements to defeat your enemies (or sabotage those same friends). Hysterics may ensue, which might be a welcome break after all those zombies…

These PS4 games are free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of November, and you can find the full list of PlayStation Plus games below. Enjoy!

    Now I’ll have to buy the Walking Dead season 1 during this promotion… Very smart Telltale, very smart. Ive been wanting to play that title for a long time.
    I’ll give invizimals and magicka a try… But thats most likely what it will be: a try.

      just wait for it to be free(with this Patience is the Key)………i had to wait for MOST of my vita titles to be free for about a year……limbo, resogun, rainbow moon, shovel knight, dragons crown, gravity rush, uncharted, ps allstars, sly cooper..etc.etc…….PS4 lineup usually sucks…USUALLY…PS#..well i dont play PS3 anymore….

    I’ve never seen so many whiny entitled babies month to month. You guys need to go through all the comments. You may notice that it seems to be about a 50/50 split on who likes the line up and who dislikes the line up. What that says is that those of you complaining need to realize you’re not the center of the universe and remember that one person’s “trash” is another person’s treasure. There are those of us who are very thankful for what Sony not only started but also strives to make a fantastic value.

    All that being said, some interesting games on this month’s line up. Gonna check them out. Especially Dragon Fin Soup. I’m grateful for the free games, Sony, regardless if they may end up not being my cup of tea. At least I’ll be able to experience something new and different! ^.^

      Well you have fun playing the games we already played and beat . We have a right to complain , we paid money just like you , and most of us own these games already, So with that being said why would we DL it again if we beat this **** already. There should be more choices. We are complaining because we already own and beat these games , now what good are these gonna do for us? We paid money for Plus also !

      Well not all of us are whinny entitled babies we work for the money that buys the subscription therefor we feel like there should be at the least diversity in the selections of lineups so we have at the least one game that we feel is worth our time which use to happen back in 2012-2014, but now I’m afraid that’s just not the case anymore, and I can’t just sit back idly, and not let them know when they screw up cause then nothing will ever have a chance to get better till then though I don’t think I’ll renew my plus subscription anymore.

      @jdfam01 You do realize Sony themselves are footing the bill for these games to be free for all players, right? An you missed my whole point. Your definition of a “good and bad” game can be completely different than someone else’s. I can see you voicing your opinion of feeling kinda “eh” about the lineup, but that’s as far as it should go. Threatening to not renew your PS+ sub because of a few games that you don’t happen to like but others do, I can tell you right now, Sony won’t even flinch at your comment. I would imagine Sony, just like any other human being, would probably respond better to your comments if you didn’t give off a threatening demeanor. Just saying.

      peoplle complain that they already own these games….. so then what would you prefer??? how about MGS V?? or AC sindicate?? or arkham knight??? how about they release fallout 4 for ps plus before ts released to everyone else…. that way sony will know FOR SURE that no one has played it yet….. the very fact that people have pllayed these games show how good this lineup is…. if no ones played these games then theres a reason behing it right??? what if next month december they release six games no one has bothered playing cuz they are all bad…

      Dragon Fin Soup is NEW. Last month Super Meat Boy was NEW to playstation. The month before Grow Home, Super Time Force Ultra and Zeodrifter were all NEW. We’ve gotten more day one freebies than we did before the IGC got “cheap.” We’ve probably gotten more free day one (part of your subscription) freebies than any other group…. ever. The PS4 has received at least one NEW game every month since February.

    I own all Sony Consoles , Vita , Ps3 and Ps4 not counting the 1 and 2 and i don’t see anything worth downloading for November , i beat the walking dead, doesn’t take much skill , don’t care about the Magicka at all , Not *****ing by any means but we should have 10 games for for each system to choose from , We take the 2 we want and roll with it instead of getting the same things we already bought months ago. How does this benefit us Plus members ?

    PS PLUS for PS4/PSVita owners = Games we dont want, barely play, barely like, already played, already paid 60 bucks for it, never gonna pay, never gonna play,………

    CMON SONY!!!!!!!!!!!!! the last PS+ Game i ACTUALLY PLAYED was Raibow Moon and Rocket League…..

Err.. well it’s the worst line-up of games for the PS4 in months… I mean someone might commonly say “It’s the worst since the beginning!” but Resogun was actually an amazing game. So I dunno, it’s just bad, and I don’t really have an equally bad period of time with which to compare it to.

    Dragon Fin Soup HYPE! I am so happy that this is finally coming out. PS Plus offers at the very least one great game a month, usually 3 a month for me. Keep up the great work! :D

    I’ve already most of these games, but WOW! That’s still a pretty tremendous lineup. If you’ve never played some of these games, get on it.

    The Walking Dead season 2 is most likely free because of that new Michonne expansion that’s been announced.

    Well, looks like I won’t be renewing my PS+ if this is the garbage I’m going to get for it. I was only keeping it for Street Fighter 5, but I guess I’ll just get that on my PC instead.

    For those saying “Stop Complaining”

    I have the right to COMPLAIN if I don’t like what they give us as a RENTAL, because PS Plus is just a RENTAL system.

    You DON’T own the games, if you want to keep playing them, you’ll need to renew the subscription. So, for those being fine with the garbage they’re giving every month, that’s your problem, I’m here to complain because I can and that’s it. If you are just like Donald Trump thinking there’s no opinions but yours, I feel sorry for you.

    Meh. This line up isn’t for me at all. None of the indie games lately have been for me. Maybe I am just waiting for a solid AAA release. I know Walking dead is supposedly really good, but I don’t care for zombies. Maybe next month they will offer Watch dogs which I am totally excited for.. granted it IS just a rumor. But, if indeed it is true, can’t freaking wait! Give us something awesome for the holidays Sony :D

      Telltale and Paradox (TWD and Magicka respectively), are highly respected AAA quality devs. be glad they didn’t just give us random BS like they had been.

    hmmm, I’m pleased.

    TWD, I like, makes no sense to give us season 2 and not season 1, especially if the story suffers for it, at least it’s the whole season.

    Magicka 2…this I am VERY pleased with

    Mass Effect 2…very good imo. I played through all 3 awhile back on PC. 2 is the best one, although I think ME really needs to be experienced as the trilogy, with all DLC.

    Beyond Good and Evil: people..go play it, now.

    never heard of hte others, but I looked up Invizimals on the PSn..not MY thing personally, but it could be interesting.

    Also, people whining about indies, IF people are whining (didn’t look to check), reality check:

    The Walking dead is by Telltale (a highly respected dev)

    Magicak 2 is Paradox Interactive (also highly respected)

    Mass Effect is is freakin’ BIOWARE.

    BG&E is Ubisoft

    Dragon Fin soup, idk

    Invizimals is SONY themselves.

    you have 2 AAA titles on PS3, one on Vita, and 2 AAA quality indies on PS4. you literally have no reason to complain except none of the games are your cup of tea.

    While I’m stoked on the lineup, I can’t help but feel somewhat miffed by Dragon Fun Soup being free on PS+, as I was a kickstarter backer with plans of getting the PS4 version. I’m glad to have helped the game out to some degree, but this move undermines the whole rewards part of kickstarting. At least I’ll actually own it irrespective of my PS+ subscription I guess.

    Wow, people sure complain about the free* games. Lots of sense of entitlement here. If you have all 3 platforms you are getting these games for less than $1. Even if you only have PS4, some games are crossbuy and you get more than 2 games a month. I for one like the choices this month, can’t wait to play Dragon Fin Soup. And last month was great with Broken Age and Super Meat Boy. Thank you Sony. Keep up the good work.

    I think these deals are great!
    The only thing is I already own both seasons of TWD on Steam (haven’t gotten the chance to play) and I JUST got Beyond Good and Evil during steam sale this month T.T

    I’m loving Beyond good and Evil so far and would love to get it on HD. Too bad I would have lost all my progress if I switch to PS3 from PC.

    It’s extremely sad that every one of you are PS Plus members and I see you every month complaining about it. You have every right to have an opinion but STOP GETTING MAD AT SONY! If you feel so strongly about how “awful” you are treated by Sony, then stop investing your time complaining about it and go somewhere else instead of paying the extremely low amount of $50 per year (if you’re smart). You are the same 5% that complain every month on the blog and I’m sure you won’t stop complaining because, well, you’re you. But get some perspective and stop blaming everyone but yourself because you are supporting it. I’m extremely thankful that I get 6 free games A MONTH for $50 (or for those you don’t know how to run a calculator, $4.17 a month) which is a far better value than you get buying 2 Mountain Dews at a gas station. Get real folks. And gain some appreciation once in a while.

      And if I’m not mistaken you have given it every month, right? If you haven’t guessed by now, Sony realizes how much you complain month to month and realize that you are still the boy that cries wolf. Mass Effect 2 and Beyond Good & Evil have metacritic ratings of 94 and 83 respectively. Magicka 2 is a pretty well made game, and a brand new title Dragon Fin Soup is a brand new game in which you would have to pay $10 minimum to get. Do the math.

      Good point. These are quite good games, probably $50 or more on the Store. I do complain about PS+ games when it’s things like MouseCraft but these are actually quality titles.

      Capitalism is flawed but if you don’t like what you’re getting, stop buying! It’s not that difficult.

      You are correct, you have been in praises of PS Plus throughout this year and I heard no complaints. So why complain over games you haven’t played yet?

      Deadly Premonition: 70

      You might be proven wrong here about these being bad games. Seems you are ok with games in that score range. So why complain now?

      I understand where you’re coming from, but you have to also recognize that Sony is almost 100% responsible for the Vita’s situation as it is (between false marketing they got taken to court over, not supporting it, not marketing it or giving it any major push after launch, and so on, it’s pretty clear where the blame lies here), and their now not even supporting it in PS+ is even worse. The thing still is getting games, despite their insistence to not market or even help with the localization of them, and you can’t deny that Vita owners in particular are going to be rightfully frustrated when Sony continues to do this to a current generation console.

      Do you want to hear something crazy? This supposed “legacy console” has something like a dozen games coming out in Japan in just the next couple of weeks. A new God Eater title just launched there. Naturally, there’s not a whisper of it or the past ones coming overseas.

      Sony gave up on it, and it’s PS+ lineups like this that prove it all the more.

      @overseventhousand I can agree that Sony isn’t as supportive of the Vita which is by far one of the greatest systems of this generation. Quite frankly, I’m just happy that they are still giving free Vita games to us, some of which I have enjoyed quite a bit. I don’t believe Hitokiri_03 was complaining about Vita content because I don’t even think he owns one. You and I, however have the same wish that Sony supports the Vita more but I truly can’t complain when I get at least two games PER MONTH for the Vita at $50 a year.

      As for the Vita, the problem is, Nintendo killed in Japan with the MH exclusive deal and the mobile market killed him here (and it is killing Nintendo 3ds too).

      I know its ****** but Vita is a great device for a market that doesn’t exist.

    About the games…really glad that we’re getting Magicka 2,game looks good and I wanted to try it.Now walkind dead really?…for sure its a game only worth for free but thats too much.
    Mass Effect 2 is a great game to have for free,the perfect game to have for free.I already have Beyond Good and Evil and looking forward to the 2 Vita games too.
    Besides walking overrated dead great lineup this month as always.

      Honestly I’m not sure what people wanted. These are big games, well-liked and pretty popular. Given that we’re paying under $5 for the entire month of games I’m surprised people don’t like.

    The PS Plus games are terrible. Haven’t downloaded one since Rocket League. If I didn’t need a membership to play online I would’ve cancelled months ago. Thanks for nothing, Sony.

    So let me get this right. Vita gets a PSP game, a cross-buy game with PS4 (which is coming to PS3 later too), and you couldn’t even get The Walking Dead Season 2’s other versions on here?

    This is… really, really bad, guys. If not for Dragon Fin Soup, it’d probably be the worst I’ve ever seen.
