The Drop: New PlayStation Games for 7/7/2015

Rocket-powered cars playing soccer? Yes please! Prepare for fast-paced competition, insane trick shots, and robust car customization. Rocket League is coming to PS4 this week, and it’s free for PS Plus members!

In Rocket League, players drive onto huge arenas for a fast-paced, richly strategic game of soccer. The catch: everyone is driving a car that that can jump, flip, and spin through the air in a dazzling display of rocket-powered wizardry. Rocket League features up to four-player splitscreen, eight-player online, a thorough customization system, and even a special appearance by Sweet Tooth, exclusive to the PS4 version. And if that didn’t sound good enough, it’s free for PS Plus members!

Speaking of free PS Plus games, let’s shine a light on Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved, which hits PS Vita this week. The iconic shooter series blasts onto Vita with hundreds of challenges, multiplayer support, and sizzling gameplay. Good luck getting that high score!
