Wow. So disappointed. I’ve been waiting for the GTA sale week thinking I would be as to pick up GTAV for a reasonable price. Hats not a deal. This game is a remaster of a game. It shouldn’t be full price in the first place and it’s been out for a while. Free fake money and full (already overpriced) price is not a sale. So disappointed. It’s a good thing I have new games that I do t mind paying full price for coming out soon.

@60 all those games are coming out later. The devs have to continue working on the games to make sure they are playable on the vita. You cant just take a game that plays on PS4 and put it on vita without making changes. Hardware is completely different as well as power and the type of processor used. It also makes sense for the devs to release what they have ready so they have some money coming in and can afford to continue to work on the ports. I dont know why you are expecting so much from indie developers.
@misterjumpman Titan Souls was that price from the get go, Sony messed up on the original post on the price and corrected it later. Before sony corrected it, I asked the dev over twitter and they confirmed it was a typo. You’ve been able to preorder the game on steam for a while now, why would he price would be cheaper on PS then it is on steam?

I already pre-ordered “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” at $53.99 (after 10% discount). In fact, I pre-ordered it twice – had to re-pre-order after Sony canceled my pre-order when the game delay was announced.
Now that there is a “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass” planned, how do I get it at $22.50 (10% discount) instead of paying the full $24.99?
Or how do I cancel my pre-order and then pre-order “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game + Expansion Pass” at $76.49 (after 10% discount) instead?

Actually, I am ecstatic to have a a real, graphically pleasing, non-retro inspired, game to play on the Vita. The screen is gorgeous. But Sony – you really need to lower the price of the memory cards. Far too high.

Why isn’t the non-Premium version of Mortal Kombat X available for purchase in the PlayStation Store?
Also why are all the add-ons for MK:X listed under Mortal Kombat: Legacy (old TV show)? I bought the disk based game and the only way I could download Goro and the Samurai Pack was to search for Mortal Kombat and find it under the wrong item.

The rating system means nothing. It is like metacritic. I’m sure they go by the posts to get an idea of how the public feels about the game/post. If people complain mostly, I’m sure they will see why. If people like it, then will also find out why.
For this specific post, I suspect the low rating is mostly due to the terrible prices for the games on sale.

Even Bastion I’ve bought on steam for 1/3 of the selling price here. That means that I’m forfeiting the trophies, the ps4 environment because the prices are just too irreal.
Just bought the mortal kombat x game and then bought some add one that won’t even download. Actually pre ordered didn’t even get Goro. Really disappointed.
Sony’s a big company that hurts it’s own rep more than a whole pack of trolls ever could, the only thing we have as consumers is the ability to complain when they are doing something stupid so that maybe we could get them to change course. This probably doesn’t do very much to motivate them but I guarantee they care more about the negative comments than any crusader coming to their defense.
@TwinDad The terrible prices for this week’s store update explains the low rating for this post at least, but it doesn’t for everything else. For example, the “PlayStation Underground: Mortal Kombat X” post was 4.5 in the morning and went to 2 later of the day. I like to know why, but none of the comments explain that. If it’s just one post, I’ll let it slide. But when it happens on every single post on the whole PS Blog, then you’ll notice that something’s not right. There is no bad business practices or false advertising on any of the recent posts of the following week as I’m aware of. Just announcements of some third-party games (Shovel Knight, Mortal Kombat X, Deus Ex, etc.) and news of a PS Vita game people want (Resident Evil: Revelations 2). I don’t see how it’s fair to treat a company poorly for news consumers want. This started a week ago and it should end.

I’m really thinking about buying The Witcher 3 instead of renewing my ps+ subscription. I don’t play online, don’t like many indie games, and the only time I buy something from the ps store is from the .99 cent flash sales.

Meanwhile, I’ll agree that it’s beyond odd to release the GTA Trilogy for $29.99 during the same week you can buy all 3 games for $8.75. Of course, it will make sense once the sale ends: The individual games will return to $9.99 each with San Andreas at $14.99. So yeah, $29.99 < $34.97.
Still an odd week for this, especially since the same trilogy can be had brand new on disc for $14.99 at Best Buy.
