I just want the Toro Inoue PS4 theme released to the West. If I had that, then I wouldn’t have to awkwardly look at all these free themes anymore… I love Toro, and it’s pretty disappointing that the only place to see him is in Toro’s Friend Network (Amplified by the English translation of Let’s Party available in China).

Nice SNK Sale. Finally took them long enough to have a sale on Metal Slug Anthology and Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting, but really bummed that there’s no PS+ discounts on them. That’s the only reason why I pay for PS+, not for the monthly freebies and stuff.

Also, I find it funny that everyone here’s complaining about not getting sales and not focusing on the more important aspect, and the real reason, for having the PS Plus subscription in the first place: The FREE games. While it’s nice to get that game that was on sale you were waiting for (Unless your name is EpicTacoSam. Haha.), you’re still getting the main attraction, free games every month! For those of you who’ve renewed your yearly subscription, you just guaranteed yourself a year a free games. I don’t think there’s a better feeling than that. Please tell me I’m wrong and explain to me what’s better than “free”?
The lack of PS Plus sales will be hurting the devs in my case because I used to buy everything digital but now I’m buying used hard copies. I’ve been able to get a ton of PS4 games for less than half of what they are charging on PSN. Digital games are too much to begin with.
I JUST bought snk arcade classics for 20 bucks too. What are the odds….
@105, you are right. I have had a PS4 since launch, and I only have bought 3 games digitally.
I still buy games for the PS3 when I have a choice. That is because I can download each game to TWO PS3’s!!! Works much better in a FAMILY home with multiple PS3’s.
@104 You do not get free games, you get free rentals. If I gave you a game for free, but I wanted it back after a certain term, did I GIVE you the game? Or did I just let you BORROW it? PS+ expires, so does your free *rentals. And besides, the *free rentals have been kind of crappy in the past year. They dropped instant game collection. They went from giving you 6 PS3 games to just two a month.
When my PS+ expires, I am done with it. I will wait for Sony to fall back into 2nd or 3rd place again in the console wars to see if the deals come back.

Please do. Anyone who tries to force someone else to do what they want, either through action or inaction, is a toxic person that no community needs. So threatening to stop buying PS Plus or go over to Microsoft if they don’t start adding the sales you want or give away nothing but AAA titles in the free games, you’re no different than a schoolyard bully threatening to beat kids up if they don’t gve up thier lunch money. So please, leave. Make the community a better place, and go over to Microsoft. I’m certain they’d be pleased to sell another console and a subscription to a service that doesn’t offer as much as PS Plus. I will gladly hold the door open on your way out.
It gets really old to keep reading commenters tell people to quit complaining about PSplus because you get free games. They are not free!!!!! You pay $50 to play these “free games”. That is NOT free! You would not be paying for that service is you didn’t get those games. the service is the games! Oh yeah, and you don’t get to keep the games, unless you keep paying for the service. How is that free???????
To that note, It has been a long time since I have felt the urge to get ps+. I have never bought it, and likely never will. Nor will I likely get a ps4 which pretty much requires ps+. I only would have bought ps+ at a discount, but those are getting pretty rare. The service just isn’t worth it.

I guess you don’t believe in free markets or consumer rights. In a free market, if a company wants to succeed, it must be consumer focused or it becomes irrelevant.

My complaint is PSN broken. I don’t care about the free/rental games. Sales are just as good over on Xbox. Titanfall $10, UFC $10, Dragon Age $34.

On PS3 you had both pictures and lo-res video preview files to preview dynamic themes before making the decision to purchase.
On PS4, both these are missing.
Why?
Kinda hard to judge if we wanna invest our money in a moving dynmaic theme when we have no idea what it looks like.

It’s been a month of No more PS PLUS discounts on retail games. Guess what fellow consumer, it looks like the PS NOW service have eventually eliminated Plus discounts on retail games. Who would subscribe to PS NOW if people are getting a huge PLUS discounts on retail games right SONY?

It’s a pretty boring time of year for video games anyway, so it’s nice to be able to catch up on the backlog.

This is word for word what it says so if they are not going to offer this they need to remove this from the subscription because its false advertising and they need to lower the price of playstation plus.So it does make a difference if you are paying for a sevice and you are not getting what you pay for.

Ok, so we all know that this section is always full with self-entitlement and ignorance…but these past few weeks this is now REALLY ANNOYING.
To “X-Warlock” (I’ve chosen you randomly, nothing personal) and all the people that shares his thoughts:
PS Plus was introduced when Sony was way behind in the so-called “Console Wars” thing. They needed something “cool” to level the playfield…so they cleverly thought: Free Games & Huge Discounts. And it worked. Really really well.
But then…PS4 came along. And all of you (yeah, the same ones with the “not enough AAA titles” and “PS+ going down” complaints) just went bananas for the new console. At launch. BIG MISTAKE. >_>
Because of that now Sony KNOWS you’re all a bunch of cattle…willingly going to the slaughterhouse. They now have that sweet #1 spot…and they know you WILL buy all the new games and random stuff they throw at you.
So…the obvious next move: MANDATORY PS+ for Online Gaming. And do you know what happens when you FORCE someone to do something? YOU DON’T NEED TO “SEDUCE” THAT PERSON ANYMORE. Because from now on…that person will pretty much be your slave.
And that reasoning paved the way to the next move: LESS GREAT GAMES…LESS HUGE DISCOUNTS. It’s actually a no-brainer, people…
So to the guy that said “If you’re just not have any additional PS+ discounts for this or any other specific week you have to tell us”… LOL. No, you little delusional human being…they DON’T NEED TO DO THAT.
The service “description” is “Free Games. Exclusive Discounts. Cloud Space. Exclusive Access to Betas. Online Gaming”. Right?
Ok…are you ready for this? THEY *ARE* GIVING YOU EXACTLY ALL THAT!!! O_O
True, the “free” games are actually only rentals. And the discounts are really really scarce. And the Betas are kinda lacking too. But THEY NEVER PROMISED “pure awesomeness”. The dumb sheep that went for it just assumed that. And that was a serious mistake on their (your?) part.
So, in conclusion, what are all of you paying PS+ for? ONLINE GAMING…and some tiny extra “perks” here and there. -_-
What’s that? That blows, you say? Well…YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE SEND THE “OK” MESSAGE TO SONY when they announced a new MANDATORY system. You should’ve said “What? You know what, Sony? NO. That’s unacceptable and I will NOT support that business plan. You wanna sell those shiny new consoles you’re making? FORGET ABOUT THE MANDATORY STUFF. Otherwise…it’ll be an EPIC fail on your part”.
I know, I know…that’s kinda an utopia. But that’s how things are done. If you CONDONE something…then you have no right to threaten afterwards, when the consequences of your actions come back to bite you in the-you-know-what.
Sony IS NOT GOING BACK to the way things were in that beautiful pre-PS4 era. All that cool treatment IS FOREVER GONE. From now on…it’ll just be Sony trying to trick as many people as they can to PAY MORE AND MORE for as many “services” they can come up with. Why? Because now they know THEY CAN. They know that no matter what they do…you’ll still buy all their stuff.
It’s a REALLY SAD true…but it’s the true. =\
So please…just STOP. They will NOT listen. Not now. You all had your chance at “teaching a lesson”…and you all blew it.
So you wanna go to MS? By all means…just GO. Nobody cares about your childish threats…because we all know by now…that YOU WON’T. You already bought the damn console…and you’re eagerly awaiting for the “exclusives” that will be rolling during the year. So you’re all LYING. I know it. And Sony knows it. So just don’t bother. So you see the difference between a company’s words…and just ordinary people REINTERPRETING those same words?

which they aren’t delivering and we have a right to complain.

My plus expired this month 2/25, and I’m cool about it. Free games are no use for most people who have bought enough games, plus discount are disappearing. So, I’ll just get what I want with that 49.99$ on non-plus sale or used discs or full price games I really want.

Another great update. I would like a pre-order option for resident evil revelations 2 vita and vita games in general. Also coming soon videos or a “Sony direct” hint would be great. As games are coming out like toukiden kiwami, banner saga, bastion, God eater 2, lost song, danganronpa another episode, final fantasy agito, saga 2015 and hopefully gravity rush 2. Also i would drop vita to 150 with 8gb memory card with uncharted and have 64 gb card available for 100. Rerelease top sellers killzone, lbp, uncharted,creed for 20. That would make it 50 less than Nintendo and have better looking games for half price giving a great value proposition to new consumers. Especially remote play which is amazing on my ps4.

There are far to many people who can’t handle anyone say anything contrary sony or its services. Why are you so upset by what someones thinks about it? What reason do you have to get get angry and lash out? Childish.
Back to the point. I was defending consumer rights and freedom of expression and the need for consumers to voice their opinions and the need for companies to respect their clientele. This has nothing to do with your comment. By the way, since you are so hostile, can you show data to back your attack? Can you show the figures supporting that subscribers with dissatisfaction are a miniscule minority? And what does this or caving to minorities have anything to do with what I said?
On you last note, what do you care if I find value in PS+ or not? Does it affect you personally? I am careful and not haphazard with money. If you don’t respect that, I don’t care. But why do you care? And why do you want to make me like you?

@144, deadmanjedi The $49.99 version of DriveClub is the full game that all current PS+ members get the $10 discount on as promised before the game launched. The PS+ Free version of DriveClub (think of it as DriveClub Lite) has not been released yet.
I am loving ‘Minutes’! It’s both very challenging and full of zen.
See I have to agree with the fact that most of the complainers should try XBox. They could ask Microsoft why they had to buy a new XBox One to get 4k support or how about Nintendo why they need to buy an AC Adapter for a new handheld based off an old handheld that can play games the old one couldn’t. Not to mention the discounts on XBox Live are often the same discounts on PSN, but just different weeks.
Anyway that said this is kind of a unique sale. Also an odd one on SNK’s part. All of the games dealing with King of Fighters except A few which got included thanks to the NeoGeo Station, but all the others have characters that end up in the KoF series. I would take this is a possible sign of a new KoF, but I do not believe I should get my hopes up for awhile on that one. Of course I would not mind a new Samurai Spirits/Shodown or for V Special to get released here. We have Mortal Kombat which has way more violent finishers and originally they said the collection would come with V Special in the US like it did in Japan on the Samurai Spirits collection.
Assassins Creed Unity DLC is broken, there is no such thing as “Underground Armor Pack”
Also, is it Sony’s or Ubi’s crap that left out the DLC on Season Pass Holders? I paid for a season pass that got me all packs (Excluding the dumb Crew point packs) not just 3… which if this price is more or less through all them… it’d be pointless.
