I don’t understand why Sony dosn’t answer a question which several members like myself keep asking over and over again. Why are’t these flash sales available worldwide. I don’t see this flash sale on the RO or UK stores. There is no blog.uk/ro.PLAYSTATION.com site so I take it this is the official worldwide blog, but why isn’t there any disclaimer when posting these kinds of sales?
Why can Steam have a single worldwide entity and Sony’s is so fragmented, it’s digital content…
Which of the Vita/Classic titles work with PSTV? Can you add an * on future updates so I don’t have to look them up one by one :)? thanks!
Is Fez cross-buy? I’ll buy it for my Vita but it would be great to be able to play on my PS3 too.

Ok ill try echochrome. I got echochrome ii on sale for $1.00 way back so ill complete the collection now lol.
@148 and all others that do not quite understand how these sales work. So you get a better idea I will mention I work for HP. I work in marketing as well. So let me use Best Buy as an example since they are a heavy business partner with us. One of their people will come up and ask if they can this one item on sale or group of items during this time as a way to bring in customers. We go back look and see what we have planned as a company and then we give our opinion. It then gets sent upward to see if the HP finds value in the sale since we will be paying Best Buy the portion they take off of it. So to make up for the loss if it is a printer they might buy ink, or HP accessories for a laptop or PC.

However that only works in our region. So in the US. In order to get sales elsewhere other teams make those decisions based upon their regions. It is up to the companies that publish the games what the price of said title is and when it can go on sale. Likely Sony does not make these sales the same with most companies. Only time outsiders do not count when it comes to that is pawn shops or used product. So GameStop can make whatever sales they want on used games, but overall have to follow guidelines for new if they do not want to take a loss on said title. Getting back to region though, Call of Duty is Activision in the US. In Japan Call of Duty is released by Square-Enix, or at least last I checked it was still them bringing those games to Japan. So let’s say that Activision has a Call of Duty sale and decides well taking a loss might be worthwhile at this time if people are willing to buy more Season Passes or an Expansion, but Square cannot take a loss on it at the moment because they just brought it to Japan. Well a lot of really mad do you think Square would be by such a sale? The same is true of different branches of the same company
Is this a US only sale because I’m not getting these deals when I go onto the store. I’m getting the 10% off, but none of these game deals.

Maybe you should be paying attention. I said parasite eve. As in parasite eve 1. Not 2 or 3. Just 1. Could care less for the other two, and haven’t seen too many positive reviews of or them, and for good reason. I played 1 plenty when it first dropped. 2 is an abomination.
As I’ve had PS Plus since… January 2011, I think, I already had many of these titles, so I ultimately went with…
– Costume Quest 2 (PS3; more titles ought be Cross-Buy, y’think?)
– Rollers of the Realm (thank you, PS TV compatibility)
– Echochrome (PS3 -and- PSP; may I not be disappoint, of ye tomb marker of the PS Home bowling alley)
– OlliOlli (despite having it on PC, and…wait, if I wasn’t sure if I’d mesh, why did I buy the hype? Oh, SMG2, just a bit ago)
…as well as the Carlos Garijo: Series I theme (Ilya Kushinov: Sight is great, too), and some SQEX/Eidos titles: Legend of Mana, Blood Omen: LoK, Gex 1, and DXHR Director’s. Would’ve liked to sink on DDFF, but I’ll stand refusing until SQEX knocks FF titles below 50% (though I so want to have it on my PSP and PSTV simultaneously).
Should I have? Nah. But I did. Thank you, employment.

I think I have broken the store. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is on sale for $3. But when I add it to my cart, a window pops up and says the game is free for PS Plus members. However, if I go to finalize the checkout, SEN wants to take $3 from my wallet.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? I want the game, just need clarification on pricing.
(Also: I would get Guacamelee on PS3/Vita, but I’d rather hold for the bundle which includes its soundtrack & avatars.)

I just downloaded Pixeljunk Monsters for this Flash Sale and I cannot install or play the game. It looks like this is trying to download the Encore expansion which is 100KB instead of the full game for 164MB – despite listing it as the full game. You can see this in the link below:

I would like to get blood omen but I have had 2 ps3’s break in less than 18 months per life and I don’t want to give sony my money if I don’t have to. It is really annoying when my ps3 forces me to delete everything and then I have to redownload my over 150 digital games. That has happened oh I don’t know about 15 times because the internet browser is a pile. It is really easy scrolling through over 1200 downloads too. And the store has screwed me out of money twice, once with pain and once with gta5 ps3 digital which was a pile. Never buying another playstation as the ps4 has gone backwards in many ways compared to ps3 and I laugh that your spell check doesn’t recognize playstation as a word. lol
No Super Stardust Delta on Vita? Regardless, I still pIckes up a couple games.
For anyone who tried to buy PixelJunk Monsters for the flash sale and are encountering a problem where it seems to be downloading a 100KB file and the game doesn’t show up after:
I contacted Sony, both agents were not entirely helpful and just offered me a refund. Obviously I just wanted to play the game I paid for. However, One of the agents mentioned something about if I had ever downloaded the demo (which I had a while ago and then deleted when I switched hard drives in my PS3).
I decided to try download the demo and see if I could unlock the game by selecting this through the in-game menu. This didn’t work but it did notify me that “it already seems like I have the full game.”
Next, I tried to download the Full Game Unlock I had just purchased from the Flash Sale – finally, success! I went back into the game and options such as turning on the PSN online play for high scores began showing up. Additionally, the game no longer showed the option for me to “unlock the full game.”
Not the best selection of games, but you finally have the right idea on price.
People who live in a console only world miss the fact that their PC counterparts get 75% off as a standard sale for games (and you don’t need a subscription to get it). It’s nice to see that happen in the console world, and really wish it was more common.
Wanted to buy PixelJunk Monsters and noticed that it was $9.99 yesterday and not $2.00 like it was announced. Checked again this morning and it was still $9.99. Was that price just a mistake?
What’s the point in having a sale on indie games? If history is any indicator, all of these either were or will be a part of the IGC.

Well I was able to get a couple of the sale games, but wasn’t able to use the discount code. I wasn’t expecting the discount code to be forever, but I also thought I would have more time to use it. That was a bit of a let down for me.
