You might’ve heard some big news from Capcom at our first ever PlayStation Experience fan expo. No, not that news. This: Resident Evil Revelations 2 is coming to PS Vita, and Ultra Street Fighter IV is coming to PS4, thanks to a double partnership between Capcom and SCEA’s Third Party Production. What’s more, Third Party Production is producing and publishing both titles for those platforms.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is the latest, spine-chilling chapter in the Resident Evil franchise. It unfolds in four dramatic episodes with cliffhanger moments that will have you wanting to play more.
Revelations 2 follows fan favorite Claire Redfield and her partner Moira Burton as they struggle to survive the horrors that await them on a mysterious island facility. With his own daughter and comrade in peril, Barry Burton takes fate into his own hands and embarks on a rescue mission to the island to save them both.
It’s a story full of twists that will have players guessing the next steps at every turn. Resident Evil Revelations 2 begins rolling out on PS4 and PS3 on February 17th, 2015, and will also be coming to PS Vita in the Spring.

The Street Fighter series evolves to a whole new level with Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4, the first Street Fighter title to debut on next-gen consoles anywhere. For those of you who haven’t played the original on PS3, the game boasts five new characters and six new stages for even more fighting mayhem.
The PS4 version will also include all costume DLC released up to date, including both the recently released Vacation and Wild costumes, as well as Omega Mode; it’s the ultimate version of Ultra Street Fighter IV, and it’s only on PS4!
Now, as I announced at PlayStation Experience, both of these titles will come out in spring of 2015. I cannot wait to share more information with you all on these great games closer to launch. Remember to keep tweeting your requests for games you’d like to see on PlayStation platforms (#BuildingTheList), and keep your eye on the blog for more information.
appreciate you supporting the vita. it sold 10 million hardware so hopefully our $300 investments in your product counts when you say it’s not worthwhile. hopefully you guys remember that. I’d be a happy camper if they brought gundam games our way
can someone please tell me what is different about this game, and the one on PS3?
I’d like to get a better date for this game, because me and my friend are playing through the Raid Mode of the 3DS original, and would like to play the Raid mode together similarly.

Great. Just waiting for some fightpads for the ps4 now. Also, what are the chances of USF4 coming over to the Vita?
now maybe everyone will stop complaining about RE Rev 2 not being on the Vita LOL
I would really like to see more Sega games on PS Vita, like Crazy Taxi, Dynamite Deka and Panzer Dragoon.
On PS3, I would like to see Shenmue 2 and some light gun games, like Confidential Mission, Virtua Cop and The Lost World.
1.Please bring the Revelation 2 in physical form. I don’t like the digital games.
2. I like gundam games . The Gundam Breaker 2 with english sub will be great.
E.X. Troopers in WEST! Even on PSN Only. Gimme gimme!
if my mad catz TE stick for ps3 is compatible with usf4 on ps4 i will buy it.
yes we do need street fighter for playstation
Monster.
Hunter.
Hoou now thats a surprise…Revelations 2 on Vita, that wasn’t expected…but thats very nice of you capcom.
Also there is no point to recycle USF4 for the PS4…SF5 is coming so why the hell recycle Ultra?…oh yes dat money.
Anyway I learned the lesoon with SF4…I waited and waited and finally bought SF4AE thinking that 3 versions were enough but damn you had to release another version…will buy SF5 only when I see a 4th edition popping.
@ 109 Scaramanga1983 – Wrong post to say that pal…this is capcom.
Thank you for supporting the Vita with a real, full, retail release. Its a bit refreshing. Especially since Sony itself doesn’t care to support their system
@Gio …I’ve waited since the PSP launch for a RE title. ….What a Christmas gift to get from you guys…Thanks for a incredible 2015 start!
cool street fighter
@Gio Corsi
I’m ecstatic to see Resident Evil Revelations 2 coming to PSVita. Would love to see more classic FPS akin to Duke Nukem 3D. Blood and Shadow Warrior would be fantastic.
I have a question regarding to Resident Evil Revelations 2. Will they be cross buy for the Vita? If not, any idea if there’s a preorder for the Vita? Also, any chance for Resident Evil HD for the Vita? I know there’s the original PSX version, however REmake is more of a new game than a mere upgrade.
PLEASE BRING SOME FORM OF USF4 TO VITA.
Super Street Fighter 4 was on 3DS and the Vita is MORE THAN CAPABLE of playing it. Street Fighter x Tekken and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom were both on their including Mortal Kombat X, Blazeblue and Guilty Gear.
STREET FIGHTER ON THE GO WOULD BE AMAZING!!
Oops
Those games were on Vita and it would be amazing to have USF4 on Vita!!!
Bring back Max Payne 3 and split second.
If we’re talking strictly Capcom games, I’d like to see:
Vita:
Mega Man Legends 3 resurrected as a Vita title
A new Breath of Fire
Street Fighter V
PS4:
Resident Evil Zero HD
Dead Rising 3
Dragon’s Dogma 2 (not the rumoured DD Online, a proper single-player sequel)
Devil May Cry 5, DmC 2, or a game that bridges both series’
In terms of non-Capcom third party titles:
Vanquish 2 (PS4)
Shadow Complex (PS4/Vita)
Five Nights at Freddy’s trilogy collection (PS4/Vita)
The remaining Borderlands 2 DLC added to the Vita version
Vita-exclusive GTA (like the “Stories” games)
Vita-exclusive Kingdom Hearts spin-off
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call on Vita
There are quite a few more, but that’ll do for now.
Oh, almost forgot:
Monster Hunter, for either PS4 or Vita.
And I’d like to see new HD-ified versions of the Mega Man and Mega Man X Collections, updated to include Mega Man 8 and 9, and X7, X8, and X: Command Mission, for both PS4 and Vita.
Ugh brain fart, I meant 9 and 10 lol
How about rebooting Breath of Fire while you’re at it? (Just don’t make it like that abomination that was Dragon Quarter)
How about third party productions makes a first party production of socom 2 for the ps4
So, can you convince them (or fund them) to make a DarkStalkers 4 ?
Great news for sure. Partnering with sega to bring shenmue back to life would be sweet as well. That would make sony the heroes of gaming no contest. Anyway, keep up the awesome work
kl
Please make the PSP game Mega Man Powered Up available on PSN. Our Vitas need that alongside the fantastic Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. Thanks!
I see a lot of ppl wants Monster Hunter main series on Vita/PS4.. I hope MHV(5) will be on PS :)
i’m huge fan of vita so i hope at least MH Vita from main series.
Can’t wait
I haven’t gotten into a street fighter game since Snes…….Ultra is sounding good right about now!
Yeah, I’m with #49. Street Fighter 3rd Strike would be wild on the Vita. Someone call Dave Lang.
We need more games on ps4
And we also need to get are internet back free
Thanks for the Vita Support!!!! And USF VI is a must buy for PS4!!!
I would love a port of Okami HD to PS Vita! It would look so lovely on OLED, and adding an option to use the touch screen for painting could make it the definitive version of the game.
Please, hear people out, PS Vita NEEDS more love, it is great to have RER2, but there are A LOT of titles that would be perfect for the Vita, how about Resident Evil Revelations 1? Ducktales? Strider? That’s naming only a few and just CAPCOM titles. You bought MegamanX4 and X5, what about X6? That was the last PS1 title for megaman, since PS2 titles are out of question right?
Almost ALL the comments everytime a new game is announced is to bring more titles for the VITA, even it it is port. When we do have great games for Vita, you decide not to release in the US (Gundam games)
The Last of Us! PSvita PLS!
Saga Resident Evil ! PS VITA PLS…
SONY/Capcom for people who Already Bought ULTRA SFIV on PS3 we should be able to get the PS4 Upgrade for 9.99 Please? If not make this Deal for those of us who bought it already… Of course i’m talking about people who Bought the Digital PS3 Version from the PlayStation Store should be able to get the Digital PS4 version for 9.99 Please?
Make it Happen Sony/Capcom….
You did HD Remix. Can we get an HD Remix of Street Fighter Alpha 3? ?
Also why can’t we get our downloaded purchases from the psn that we had on ps3? Street Fighter HD Remix, X-men, etc.
Wow, the first Resident evil revelations was on 3ds which means capcom was working with Nintendo, and during that time everyone was hoping for a psvita port, not RE R2 in psvita?! What a great surprise, didn’t see it coming. But how are the graphics are going to work, you know , this game has great graphics , how are they going to port it on vita?
Anyway , I’m really excited.
I’m a hardcore resident evil fan and I was really hoping for Resident evil HD remastered in vita, that really sounded more possible to me. Also I would love to play resident evil 4 on psvita.
That being said, I think capcom is going to a right way now with making remakes and making old characters rise, not just Chris, Leon, and Jill in every resident evil. Definitely looking to bring back Albert wisker from dead.
Thank you for bringing Revelations 2 to Vita, Capcom! You made my day!
