as i said it depends on the jurisdiction you live in. some places do not allow you to give up your right to sue unless you accept compensation.
perefect example is that AC Unity users could potentialy sue Ubisoft depending on where they live. Unless they took the free game offered to people who bought the season pass.
I would love to see both seasons of the walking dead for the PSVita on sale for talhat price of 6.25… I would have both both of them instantly….

Since the vita is the only Sony console I own and I spend $50 on PS+ I have quite disappointed this December. Appart from Child of Light and Castle Storm I didn’t really see any game worth my interest.
Dangronpa2 would have been nice if the first game went on sale as well as a bundle.
LegoBatman3 and Woriors Orochi3 would have been nice if they were $20 or $15, if that wasn’t acceptable I don’t mind some older game but for a nice discount.
Correct me if I’m wrong but a sale should feature games that can have big discounts. Some times I don’t buy a game and wait for some time for the price to reduce, meaning I wait for it to go on sale.
So far the only vita game I bought on launch date was Minecraft and it was worth it…hehe

On another note some of you making comments are nothing more than juvenile a holes!
Had family and friends in town over the holidays and planned to play ps3 with the kids. The kids were devastated and the adults were unhappy as well. I heard a few days ago that they would be offering a compensation package but hadn’t decided what it would be. Was hoping for at least a free month of psplus or at least something for the disappointing time over the holidays.
I feel really bad for anyone who purchased a new system this year. Sony has been really good the past few years with free items when some thing like this happened but now they just extend a sale that no one wants anyway… Why?
It seems to me that the GOP may have been right. Sony doesn’t care about its customers and as long as people keep shoveling them money they will do stuff like this.

Well, luckily most of my games are offline, but sad for games like warframe and destiny.

@snarls200 I guess the company would have bite the bullet and apply a credit across the board. Companies that value their customers would do just that. I know that I still have (albeit small) connectivity issues with my Vita, PS3, and mobile. Im in Maryland btw. I’m not advocating suing. That’s a bit extreme. More like, no one makes a PlayStation (neither retail nor online) purchase for a whole week to get a point across. The downside is that some small indie developers will be hurt horribly by this silent protest.
While it is nice that Playstation gives a second chance to enjoy both the Holidays Sale and the Flash Sale, i would have liked that they also released a new list of sales like we are used to every week. I didnt have to be something special, but i always wait for every tuesday to see what is going on sale on the PSN store…i already bought what i wanted from these delayed sales.

At 4 pm Central Time, it seems clear now that there will be no new sale. That’s just terrible. I don’t see an excuse for that. No reason you can’t have a new sale concurrent with an old sale.
It’s a nice gesture to extend the Winter/Flash sale. But the network was back up before either sale would have ended. Therefore Sony has now cancelled a new sale to placate annoyed PSN members for a couple days of inconvenience, thereby created other annoyed PSN members.
This is really stupid.
Also, to Chieh Chen: Still waiting on that PS1/PS2 sale…
No new sale for new years. Starting 2015 on a crappy note. I hate Xbox too much to switch to them but I am definitely getting a Wiiu instead of a PS4. Once my Vita is finally dead and no games come for it, it will take a while to go back to Playstation.

Maybe Sony cannot negotiate anything better than what they have been offering. I suppose that is a possibility. Certainly there was no sales to be had on ps+ this holiday.
The vita is essentially on life support. I would sell it if it weren’t for the loss I would take on my digital purchases tied to my account. The sad thing is there is nothing on there I really want to play, it’s more like this is ok, or this is decent or portable is a nice way to play this port. Even then the performance is poor ie, I bought walking dead season 1 and 2 for vita for $18 on sale, now the superior ps4 versions are available for $13.
They can only do what they do, but it is unfortunate that the superior vita hardware has turned into another failure.

They did everyone a favor not putting that garbage on sale so you should be happy about that. If anything they should just put it in the ps+ so people can complain about it, and likely they won’t do that either.
In case you didn’t know, and I knew better and bought anyways (fifa 13 for vita) I also had fifa 12 for 3ds prior which was also mediocre but still arguably better with some arcade modes etc.
That being said, you are getting a version based literally off of fifa 11, ie 11.1 if you will. It has been labeled as “legacy version” it literally is the same game as the fifa soccer for vita, with new kits and squad rosters, if even that, then you get around 7 songs from the full current soundtrack instead of 40. THAT IS IT. the touch controls are not good, and the gameplay is horrible, your talking about going back to 2010 with no tactical defending.
It is an abomination at any price and just a straight up cash in. Not that Vita sales warrant anything better sadly. Try Football manager 2014 classic, that has been on sale for half price twice once during world cup and recently. It at least links up to the pc version so it has some merit but it is a management / sim game.
@Norlio : it’s probably downloading the rest of the game. Some big titles are like that on PS4. The first few gigs downloaded is the beginning of the story, or in the case of a sport’s game, one or two teams and one or two features, the rest will download in the background. Give it time.

I kind of understand extending a poor sale as opposed to updating a new one, but trying to pass this off as good will toward the customer is nothing short of offensive.
Oh cool, the same lame sale from last week. PLEASE can we get some ps1 and psp games on sale soon? Honestly, we should be seeing some every week along with everything else, even if it’s only a few. The psp pricing structure needs to be looke into as well. Most of those gams are extremely overpriced.

Yeah… the DDos is a poor excuse. It was suppose to be like this before the attack. I called an agent on dec 23 because i have battlefield ps + 1 week free trial and i’m not able to buy the game until the time is out. so the guy told me the sale will be extend and i will be able to buy it next week. so this sale was already set and the DDos is just an excuse.
So if your extending the sale are we not getting another one? Usually todays sales are online an good to go but I dont see a blog post.
