I knew there’d be GTA5 but was hoping it would just be the game for a little cheaper. A bundle with in-game-cash for the price of just the game(physical) is kinda disappointing but I can understand it.
Overall I’m really satisfied with the entire sale. I got some smaller games I would never even look at normally, and some bigger games I might have never been interested in buying and enjoyed them.

I gotta say, this final week of holiday sales was just completely cringe worthy. The previous weeks there were at least a few games I wanted. To end it all like this pretty much defeats everything that came before.
A valid complaint isn’t whining, for the record. I wonder how many season passes the posters who call valid complaints whining blindly purchase every year. Quite a lot, I would wager. The type of consumer that is allowing this industry to become as sad as it is. Food for thought.
So very far, the best week was the 1st, so, the games offering still appear in the web store. South Park, Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein, FarCry Classic and GT6 was in the week 1… The rest **** over ****…
Spent a total of $7.50 on PSN sale…and over $50 on the STEAM winter sale with over a week to go still. Sony needs to learn what a real sale on is…

Seriously.FOUR Vita games out kg this entire list. FOUR. And only one of them is a full rental release while the other three are meh Indies. That’s a SINGLE good Vita game in these ‘deals’. Last week, Vita had crap. The first week, Vita only had SA:O. Way to continue to tell Vita owners that you don’t care about them Sony, way to go. Keep on shooting yourselves in the foot. The Vita isn’t a success because of YOU. Not because of the market or developers or anyone else

@NickMulder People don’t pay $50 a year for crap they don’t want. If I invest that kinda money, I want to see something in return. I don’t know what kinda job you have, or where you live, but here in the US $50 is quite a bit of money in our crappy economy. And to see the kind of lousy sales we’ve been getting it’s not worth the investment. In fact, when my PS+ runs out I don’t plan on renewing unless Sony can do a 180 and turn things around for a change which I highly doubt they’ll do. So get off your high horse and come down to Earth once in a while.
@193 ports on the vita make sense, playing FFX on the go is a god send, and being able to use cross save adds icing on the cake. Also Tales of Hearts R wasn’t released western wise on the DS so sorry man you lose.
The point of those ports is to play them on the go. The port arguement is also dumb since PS3, xbox 360, ps4 and xbox one also port games.

This sale doesn’t phase me any. There seems to be one flash sale a month, and there hasn’t been on this month yet, and the day after Christmas is the perfect day for one.
So yeah, everyone that’s hating on this sale, I’d say just save your money until Friday. I may be wrong, but I doubt that will be the case.

Sony thank you for the crappy 4 weeks of sales I usally buy alot of games this time of year but this year my money was safe in my wallet.
Bad sale. Ps3 games that are originally the same price as ps4 games should also be on sale for the same price. Nobody cares about movies or tv show sales.
Im not suprised the staff stopped responding on sale posts and store posts.
Pretty bad sales. Of the 4 weeks only 1 had good games on sale for not so good prices… Haven’t bought a single vita game in months now, will still not buy any. Hopefully there’s a christmas flash sale or something.

Hey! All right! Finally all those PS1/PS2 classics I was promised to go on sale went on sale! Oh wait. No. They didn’t. Excellent. I’m glad I didn’t spend the money I had in my account on those other games I was interested in because I saved my money as it was hinted that PS1/PS2 classics were going to on on sale. Now instead of playing Far Cry 3 I just have ten bucks sitting in my account doing nothing. But what does Sony care. They’ve got my money already.
Speaking as a PSV owner, with the exception of SOA [week 1] and Danganropa 2 [this week] everything else has been quite underwhelming. Sony needs to listen to people, they don’t want indies, they want retail games. Even if it’s just PSP games, it’ll still beat something like Nidhogg. Between the lack of offers on BF and the lack of retail titles these four weeks, the overall feeling is that it could’ve been a lot better~.
Last year we got sales on titles that had been released only a couple of months before that. The point of a Holiday sale is to get people to spend, most PSV gamers won’t spend on indies hoping / holding out for retail titles~.
So, let me get this straight… The PS3 and PS4 both gets a lot of games on discounts, some great retail games like diablo and stuff while the Vita gets 4….four… FOUR?!!! 3 damn indie games and a fracking graphic novel?! DAMN!!!!

So, I’m definitely picking up MGSV (to play after I finish the Legacy Collection), but what does the Alien Isolation Bundle include? Just the game and “season pass?” It’s listed as being $80 (discounted)! The Game itself is on sale for $30 ($25 for Gold Members) and the “season pass” is $15. Why would anyone buy the bundle?

How disappointing, even in the world of disappointments this is a true letdown. I felt like saying something even though I’ve been looking at the blog for quite sometime and have been disappointed every now and then. I’ll admit this sale isn’t awful, but isn’t great either.The Igc and sales have been bad in my eyes and if this continues, then I won’t renew ps+. I only buy ps+ for games and sales and don’t really care about not playing online. I want to see sales for PlayStation classics and psp. How the heck do you still sell old psp games for $20.The Europeans have better sales than you guys. I want to see vita better sales and not so many indies cause it’s obvious you don’t care about the vita seeing how it’s an expensive portable indie machine and a device for remote play. Not to mention the memory cards for the vita is expensive. You guys can do better. Happy Holidays.

Does Sony still support the Vita? It sure doesn’t look like it lately. This holiday sale has been pretty bad picked up a game in week one other than that nothing worth buying. Like many people commented an Atelier sale would be nice. Well guess I’ll stick with steam since they know what a sale actually is.

Good sale but the fact that GTA isn’t cross buy sucks. Cross buy is amazing but your policies are confusing and random and the fact that 90% of the games that actually matter aren’t cross buy also sucks.

And with that, my PS4 is now full. Thanks, PlayStation! Others seem to disagree, but the holiday sale had a lot of great deals for me.
I just wish PS4 would support external USB storage. I can (and probably will) upgrade internal drives, but it would be much more affordable and convenient (and save a whole lot of re-downloading) to be able to plug in giant external disk.
