My goodness! This weekend has been absolutely packed with announcements coming out of PlayStation Experience here in Las Vegas. From new No Man’s Sky footage to the (official) Street Fighter V reveal, it’s been a steady stream of content all for you, the PlayStation family.
And there’s more on the way! Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is coming to PS4 this week. A sequel to the critically acclaimed Guardian of Light, Temple of Osiris once again features multiplayer challenges, puzzles, and a brand new story in Lara’s incredible world.
That’s not all, friends: Suikoden II is coming to PlayStation as a digital PSone classic. Yes, it’s happening. The iconic adventure, along with the 108 Stars of Destiny, returns to PlayStation. If you’ve never played it before, now’s a fine time to experience the rich story, varied battle systems, and multiple endings that earned it a place in the RPG community’s big ol’ heart.

Any news on the second week of four weeks of christmas sale? Would like to know if I need to put aside more than $10 for suikoden II.

Now, I’m not saying you should pre-order it. That was back in June and things change. But I’m guessing the “2-4 players” is there to let people know it has up to 4-player co-op, not to signify a lack of single-player.

Now where’s “Legend of Legaia”, “Tomba! 2” (in English), and most of all “Brave Fencer Musashi” I have been waiting years for those. Japan at least has “Brave Fencer Musashi” in their store, but not NA?

I saw JuJu on PC Gamer. Looks like Devolver Digital’s answer to a Nintendo game – kinda looks like a Donkey Kong Country Returns, Yoshi or Kirby game. It looks surprisingly fun; I didn’t even know it was headed to consoles, but I’ll pick it up….
Oh and EFFFFF YES. SUIKODEN 2!!!!!!!! Thank you Sony + Konami! Also, thanks Sony + Sega for Yakuza 5 in general; I very much enjoyed hearing about at the Playstation Experience over the Weekend and can’t wait to pick that up next year!
Hey, random question US Playstation Blog people; why don’t you make a specific video for “The Drop” every week? Just grab a host (even just for a voice-over) and read out the description of all the new games coming out for each Week’s drop against some footage of it? GOG.com (Good Old Games) used to do that kind of thing with a Youtube video series called, “This Week on GOG”. They were great, and I feel like every service should do it since no gamer could possibly know what all games are every week.

UNCHARTED 4 and MGS V! Oh wait, that’s next year.. :P Tomb Raider should be VERY fun, loved the last “lara croft” one similar to this one that was on PS3 – good puzzles and GREAT game to play with a friend / coop.
Suikoden 1 is already in the playstation store. Does it work for Vita now or will it update compatibility tomorrow?

Right now Suikoden 1 is playable on Vita only by transferring from PS3. But apparently it will be directly compatible after tomorrow’s update.

How come the new games for the monthly lineups like Injustice don’t show up in the free games section in the Playstation Store anymore? Where do you go to see the list of all the free games for the month for all consoles. It used to be easy to find.
Now you have to seek out and search each individual game…
^ – That’s a great point, actually. I just checked, and (at least for me) Injustice is in a special box by itself on the “free games” page of the web store. All the other games appear normally, but I missed seeing that one the first time around. I would have missed out on getting it if I hadn’t seen your comment. So, thanks. :)

Looking forward to buying Suikoden II, though I am somewhat glad I don’t have a PS4 yet. I’d be rather annoyed that the PS1 classics aren’t available. Maybe PS4s should be bundled with a Playstation TV.

Hooray for Suikoden II at last! Now, if Konami and Sony will just let me play Dracula X Chronicles on my PSTV, I could finally stop complaining. (I’m still miffed about spending $15 for a game that won’t play)

Super excited to finally be able to get GOT on my PS3, but I have a question:
I prefer to purchase season passes, as they usually offer a bit of a discount over purchasing the game episode-by-episode, but Telltale seasons usually span a long time, and I’m looking forward to getting a PS4 in the new year.
Am I able to carry over my GOT season pass to PS4 if I start it on PS3?
Freakin awesome, how many weeks have people posted about Suikoden games? I enjoyed the hell out them as well back in the day but won’t b purchasing immediately. Gotta give some props tho for listening to the fans of the game.
