PlayStation Experience Games & Developers Announced

So far, we haven’t revealed much about PlayStation Experience except that a) it’s happening in Las Vegas on December 6th & 7th and b) it’s going to be an awesome once-in-a-lifetime event for PlayStation fans. So we were delighted to see many loyal PlayStation fans take the leap of faith last week, planning trips to Las Vegas to participate in this very special community event. To those of you who already picked up your tickets — thank you! Your trust has not been misplaced. To those of you waiting on some additional information, I think/hope you’ll be pleased with this post.

Today, I’m happy to reveal some of the games and developers you can expect to see at PlayStation Experience — but this is just the start. We’re gearing up for announcements, panels, booths, merchandise, and playable games from these major game studios:

PSXPlayStation Experience

On top of that, throughout the show floor there will be more than 80 indie games, each with their own dedicated booth. You can find a list of many of these indie developers on the PlayStation Experience website, but there are a handful that you’ll have to be there to find out about.

Across these publishers and developers, you’ll encounter hundreds of titles to play over the course of the weekend. We can also confirm you’ll be playing the following games before they’re released (though there will be plenty more on the way).

  • Battlefield: Hardline
  • Big Fest
  • Bloodborne
  • DC Universe Online — War of the Light Part II and Legends PvE Co-Op Missions
  • Destiny Expansion 1: The Dark Below
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse
  • Dying Light
  • Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series
  • Grim Fandango
  • Helldivers
  • Journey (PS4)
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • PlanetSide 2
  • Tales from the Borderlands
  • Tearaway Unfolded
  • The Order: 1886
  • The Tomorrow Children
  • The Witness
  • Until Dawn

Stay tuned for more. We will be updating the newly launched PlayStation Experience website with more games and event details leading up to December 6th, so you may want to drop a sweet, sweet bookmark and check back a little later.

Of course, as the name of this event implies, there will also be exclusive “PlayStation experiences” only available to attendees. PS4 virtual reality prototype Project Morpheus will make its hands-on (eyes-on?) debut at a stateside consumer event, and we’ll want you all to try out the future of gaming and give us your feedback.

We also have something super special planned for No Man’s Sky. I can’t say much, but let’s say that Saturday night should be memorable for those who can attend PlayStation Experience.

This is just the beginning. Keep a close eye on PlayStation.Blog in the days ahead for more info on developer panels, exclusive collectables, contests, and community activities over the next few weeks. If you haven’t gotten your tickets, you can do so right here. If you’re locked in and ready to go, join our Facebook event for regular updates leading up to the show.

See you all in Vegas!

  • Fingers crossed for Persona Arena on Vita….hey I can dream.

  • Dear Goodness: Sony sets up an event for the fans and all the comments are complaining. THANK YOU SONY FOR HAVING A GIANT FAN EVENT. I don’t gamble but the positives of Vegas are obvious: Tons of hotel space, great weather, amazing food, fine beverages everywhere… Anyways I am so excited for this. AND KEEP SUPPORTING INDIES! SOME OF THE BEST GAMES ARE INDIES!

  • No Man’s Sky will be my video game drug of choice. Hoping to get a release date on that.

  • Should let ppl play Freedom Wars there, that game is amazing!

  • Finally. PS Plus Driveclub Edition.

Wait, what was this about, Sid? Thanks for staying to not answer any actual questions!

  • Can’t wait. I’ve got my tickets already. I’ve got no complaints. It’s video games. It’s supposed to be fun. You can talk about 100 games, but someone will still chime in with “Well what about this one specific game? You guys suck!”

I can’t wait to go hang out with thousands of other gamers (that care enough to spend money on an event like this), rather than people on the internet complaining all the time. Let’s just have fun, celebrate our hobby, and have some fun! Vegas gamers, let’s show everyone how we do. :)

  • I butchered my previous comment. I’ve been up all night. lol

  • “We also have something super special planned for No Man’s Sky” ….I’d absolutely love a retail announcement from the game but that seems wishful thinking.

  • Hey Rice and Beans I am actually from Bend and know some of the developers as acquaintances. Right now they are working on a “survival horror game ps4” it’s supposed to scare the absolute ca ca out of you. I am not a big horror game fan (because well they scare me) but this one I might pick up because well it’s local. I would start looking for news for it around next yearish don’t hold your breath.

  • I went to the PlayStation experience 2 years in a row when it was in London, I think it was 2002 and 2003, it was absolutely amazing, i hope this one in Vegas is just as fun if not more so for those attending! I’m sure it will be a lot better as well, the tickets in 2003 were only £6, the Vegas ones are $55 per day!!

  • Sony.. sorry for not being entitled (“you better show us x and x at this thing!”), unappreciative (“why are there so many great fantastic PS4 titles and devs being there but no Vita!?!”), or just plain confused (Ready At Dawn chooses their demo slice to show.. not Sony). But I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks for making a fan experience. Wish I could attend.. I’m jelly.

  • What are the chances we get to see The Last Guardian?
It’s kinda rude when your fans keep asking it year after year and we get the same answer, everytime.
    Please, make it happen.

  • I’m hoping that Vita makes a huge impact here, something big is announced..a new COD, sports game, Final Fantasy XII HD maybe? Just something huge needs to be announced..I love my vita to death, but I dunno how long I can go on with just indie games.

  • I’ll be interested to see what kind of Vita/PSTV announcements crop up between now and the event itself.

Indeed, if Bandai Namco felt like using their time in Las Vegas to talk about bringing over more games from their stable of current and upcoming Japanese Vita titles, that would be quite welcome too.

  • God, please show us some retail titles for the PSV. The drought outside of multi platform indies is insane at this point~.

  • Where is the RİME i saw that in the trailer :(

  • I just bought my ticket with my best friend to travel from Mexico City to Vegas. This is so exciting!

  • Found this Vid….coul,d the NMS be about this???? please reply!!!!!!

  • Found this Vid….coul,d the NMS be about this???? please reply!!!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGW-cZbg4uk sorry i forgot the link!

  • Sid what about Super Mega Baseball??!!!

  • youtube . com/watch?v=hGW-cZbg4uk better info from this guy

  • WWS/SCEJ/SCEA/SCEE Please do a super collaboration with Bandai on an exclusive Gundam action simulation combat game based in the Universal Century. Heck adapt Gundam The Origin. I fear I might never live to see a proper Mobile Suit next-gen simulator. Or bring a sequel to Gundam Battle Operation to PS4 and localize it!

  • we NEED more New & Exclusives games, like seriously, I get sicken tired of keep seeing 3rd party games over and over and over and over again… If we like the games, we will buy it! No need to advertise it anymore :). This PlayStation Experience better be focusing on major 1st party titles like The Order 1886, Bloodborne, Dragon Quest Heroes, Uncharted Thief End, Gurrelia Horizon or BRAND NEW GAMES.
Where is Deep Down ? The Last Guardian ? why and how did they disappeared from the news ????

  • Please show uncharted 4, Please announce a new god of war, Please announce the last Of us2!! Lol i doubt any of these will happen but at least mkx and Bloodborne are there thats great! I heard on couple sites that there may be shenmue news that would be ill!

  • Gonna be amazing!

  • If this is a success I would love to see this show move locations every year. If there was one in Atlanta or Charlotte it would make it easier on us in the south.

  • BRING BACK WARRIORS LAIR!!! I SPENT 300 DOLLARS FOR THE PS VITA I DESERVE ONE GOOD GAME!! IT’S SERIOUSLY ALMOST DONE SONY!!! THERE ARE HARDLY ANY GAMES, WHY WOULD YOU TAKE AWAY A NEARLY FINISHED TRIPPLE-A GAME FROM YOUR STARVED CONSOLE!!

  • I’d love to see more of Uncharted 4 and Tearaway. And I wanna see what Guerilla Games’ new IP is (Its sounds cool). But I really wanna have some more info on Shadow Of The Beast and The Last Guardian.

  • Also wanna see what Santa Monica have in store. Damn this conference could be amazing.

  • Will The Last Guardian be a thing here? I’m not one of those who die to see it happening, but it looks like Sony wants to blow minds away, so it would be a perfect fit.

For now all I care about is whether Square Enix will feature the shaping-to-be-outstanding FFXV here or if they’ll hold it for Jump Festa (or present it on both events, information on the game has been generously pouring out lately)

Kingdom Hearts 3 would also be quite awesome!

I’m super excited to see what Sony is going to show, all the gear that will be unleashed in 2015, the year to officially jump to the current generation if you haven’t already, that’s for sure! :D

As I final note, PLEASE Sony PLEASE: PlayStation Vita <3
