PlayStation TV makes its debut today in North America with hundreds of games available to play. Whether you’re using PS TV to play PS4 games in another room of your house through Remote Play, or playing PS Vita hits like Killzone: Mercenary on the big screen, the system has something for everyone. Starting at $99.99 (MSRP) for the standalone system, it’s one of the best deals in gaming. It’s easy to set up, yet offers amazingly deep gameplay. It sits in a special place in the PlayStation platform ecosystem – as it can play titles from PS Vita, PSone , PSP, PS3 (through PS Now), and PS4 (through Remote Play).
Of course PS TV plays entertainment content, including popular movies and TV shows that can be downloaded from PlayStation Store. PS TV will also launch with video streaming apps Crackle, Crunchyroll and Qello, and stay tuned for additional entertainment content we’ll be adding soon to the PS TV lineup.
In addition, PlayStation Now is available on PS TV in much of the mainland U.S. and Canada* and will launch with games for the whole family like Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, Sly Cooper: HD Collection, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
You can also pick up the PS TV bundle we’re offering this holiday, which includes a PS TV unit, DualShock 3 controller, 8GB memory card, and a voucher for The Lego Movie Videogame – all for $139.99 (MSRP).
I hope you’ll get as much enjoyment out of this small, simply amazing platform as I have. Let us know below which PS TV games you’re looking forward to!
*Service not available in all areas. A steady broadband connection greater than 5Mbps is highly recommended. See us.playstation.com/playstationnow for details.
any reason that Final Fantasy 3 (PSP) NA version, has not been approved on the PSTV?
Also what happened to all the classic Star Wars games like Dark Forces?
I am another customer disappointed and also somewhat confused by the lack of Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu. Please patch these ASAP.
Please add support for additional accounts. Right now I have content split between two accounts and I would have to format the device every time I wanted to access the other account’s content. This is a major hassle.
What happened to Metal Gear Solid 1 compatibility? I have a license for it, but I can’t download it. Also, lack of FF3.
Playing the FFX remaster is pretty sweet, and I’m looking forward to the Binding of Isaac Rebirth. This console has potential. Sony just has to tweak a few things, and this will be a killer unit.
Please add Netflix support to PSTV asap.
I have contacted Netflix customer supportand they said they usually have a great relationship with Sony. I couldn’t get an eta on when a Netflix app would be added to PSTV however other than to ‘watch for updates.’
I’m going to triangulate my effort by posting this here.
Sony, please add Netflix to this device and you will have many happy campers.
@203
Hulu is currently working with Sony on the issue, but a Netflix representative told us point-blank: “We have no current support plans for Netflix on PS TV.”

so pretty much it falls on netflix if they decide to change their minds or not
So, now that it has released in the US, will the region lock be removed from the Import VITA TV so early adopters can access their US accounts and games on it? Thanks
Hi…I got new PlayStation TV yesterday cause It look good for HDTV but senran kagura Shinovi Versus is work on my new PlayStation TV?Thanks!
No Netflix support?? Come on Sony! Please add it, and I will get one of these so quickly! I REALLY want to replace our chromecast with this. :)
hi, question sony. I bought the vita deluxe version. I saw the list of games online that it supports, one being “the legend of heroes” series thats on psp. But while in the ps store, i dont see them anywhere. Are you still updating the store list or whats up?!?!?!
thanks
Playstation TV is so freaking good. That’s all I wanted to say lol.
I don’t know if people are still looking at this, but I want to add that Ys: Memories of Celceta’s absence is a sin. Especially since the game was patched in JP. I’m excited that Tales of Hearts R is coming, but if I can get Ys too, 100% good investment on my part. So please, try to get Ys to happen!
Talking with the publisher – stay tuned.
