I noticed there aren’t any PSP Dragon Ball Z games on the store. How come? What makes Battle of Z special that it stays up, but the others don’t? There some licensing issue going on? I’m still waiting on a good portable Budokai, and Battle of Z wasn’t it.
Oh, and ArcSys is officially as bad as Capcom now. Can’t say I didn’t expect it after Chrono Phantasma went DLC-crazy, so glad I’m waiting on that one. But what’s the complete edition of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax going to be called? Where do you go after “Ultimax”?

1) The games aren’t free. We pay for the service.
2) They have been given a significant amount of time. Basically since launch and we as the consumers didn’t put out the multiple release dates.
3) I would rather them give me a release date that works and stick to it. I would also like them to follow through wih what they originally told consumers which is you will get the full game free. Once everyone bought it, they stripped it, changed the release date and didn’t deliver.
4) Yes ! give me what was advertised in this transaction.
5) You are foolish if you think Sony tries to do anything for you. Sony tries to make money and they have. Sony doesn’t care about you or me. They care about money and that is all and that is exactly what they should care about just as us consumers should care about what we paid for.
6) You not getting people these days is only one thing. It is obvious that you do not get significantly more than this.
7) No need to act like you are above other people venting due to being rightfully frustrated. You are not.

Don’t mean to pour more cold water, but this DriveClub PS Plus Edition is really like any racing game demo. It’s not even the 1/5-of-full-game that was promised to us (which was already a major downgrade from the full-game-minus-a-few-assets that was originally promised).
In Tour/career mode, the menu shows a set of 10 events. Only 3 are unlocked (one normal race, one championship with 2 rounds, one time trial). In each event, there are side conditions you can complete (reach top 3, reach certain speed, reach certain lap time…) to earn you stars. In order to unlock the next set of events, you need to get 14 stars. The 3 events available to you will get you 12 stars.
In other words, there are only 3 events for you to sample the game. It is really a demo like what you get in any racing game demo. This is yet another bait and switch. Sure, there are trophies as promised, but you will have to keep grinding that 3 events over and over and over and over to earn them.
Dear Sony,
All the sensible people on this board would gladly like you to just come out and say “Hey guys, We’re having issues getting the PS+ version on the store and will update you as soon as it becomes available.” But the lack of response is creating more harm. I am planning on using the PS+ version of Driveclub as a beefed up demo to buy the full version if I liked it. I hope I do like it, whenever that time comes. I don’t have a problem with games not coming out the exact day they are suppose to, but I do have a problem with no explanation as to why or when the issue with be fixed. Some people on this comment section need to chill out and just relax. It could be worse, we could not have PSN for over 30 days……Remember that?

I don’t comment often but when I do it’s usually to complain about the store. I love the Playstation brand, I’ve been a Playstation owner since 1995 but a product is only as good as it’s weakest link and right now that’s the Playstation store. I’m not going to repeat whats already been said, the store is a mess and we all know it. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask that the store not only be updated on Tuesday, but also at a set time with content showing up properly across the web, PS3, PS4 and Vita at the same time every week consistently. If an issue occurs with the store and something won’t be updated on time I think we deserve to know through the blog and twitter. The inconsistent store updates, updating the store in parts (last month’s free PS+ games still showing up while the rest of the store is updated) and general lack of communication are extremely frustrating especially when other companies running digital storefronts don’t have these issues. This needs to be a wake up call, you can’t keep running the store this way and expect people not to react.
They should apologize and give us the full version of the game, just cause…
First off, THANKS to the hardworking people at Playstation Blog for all the work you do, including the Playstation Store Update as well having to read the (sometimes frustrating) comments of your readers.
The Driveclub PS+ edition lacking presence on the most recent update has clearly gotten many upset. Ultimately, we know that the editors on this blog are NOT responsible for why Driveclub PS+ Edition isn’t available at this time. Please understand, many of the upset comments are meant for Sony as a company and an expression of people’s frustrations.
I for one am looking forward to the game to try out. But given the delays and recent reviews, I can’t say I’ll be buying it at launch. (even with the PS+ Discount). I hope it goes on sale at the $20-30 mark sometime in the closer future but i do appreciate the hardwork that Evolution has put into building such a gorgeous game.
If possible, as a community, we’d love to hear why Driveclub PS+ isn’t available on the most recent update. A lot of conspiracy theories going out as to why but ultimately, we don’t know but would love to hear an honest answer if you’re able to obtain it.

They’ve ran the store this way for nearly 3 years and nothing has been done. I don’t download anything until the next day anyway just so I don’t have the disappointment of not having the game in the store. They obviously need to work more on the store and how they interact with the consumers, but I don’t feel it will happen until they do a major overhaul of the entire operating system and servers. It will probably never happen.

The reviews that I have seen haven’t said it’s bad, but they haven’t said that it’s a new innovation either. It’s a middle of the road racer that looks beautiful. It’s worth a buy around $30 I’d say, especially with the dlc coming down the pipe. I hope it gets better.

Driveclub looks and plays AMAZING but I can’t believe the servers for it are still dead. Didn’t work at midnight launch. Didn’t work today. You guys had ONE FULL EXTRA YEAR and you still launch the game broken?! Are you kidding me?!
So any word on the PS+ edition of Drive Club was really looking forward to trying it out.
Well I was excited about Playstation TV until tonight. You guys convinced me to save my money until I know the servers and support will be up to par. Thanks! I don’t care that we have to wait another day, but ignoring everyone is a really bad move. The media is already growing on the story. You guys are digging yourself a hole by keeping completely quiet. Then some intern said “Driveclub is out now. Street dates were broken and people have been playing it for almost a week now and today October 7th, the official launch day and people are anxiously awaiting for the store to update to download the PS+ free version and the servers don’t work”

The Wait till midnight Theory disproved! I am guessing the people who said to wait till this time must feel like those religious followers that were all left here when their god never came a few years back….
The customer support specialist I talked to on live chat said that it was in the process of being uploaded and would be on the store at around 12 AM Pacific. It’s now over 15 minutes past 12 Pacific and there’s still nothing. I get that it’s a free portion of the game and everyone should just be patient, but the fact that Sony hasn’t publicly addressed this and the support has lied to me and who knows how many other customers is just unprofessional.
