Divekick was supposed to be free on ps4 for people that already owned ps3 but they changed it and called it something different. It was supposed to be available at PS4 launch as it should. Now they want another $9.99 for a “new” version of such a simple game. I think it is ridiculous. Only my opinion though. Driveclub was supposed to be totally free and now we get a stripped down version which is more like a pumped up demo. Oh yeah, and we actually didn’t get it.
@632, even if single-player will attempt to connect to the servers, so what? They are not giving us any confidence in their ability to withstand even a minor DDOS attack (from legit copies of their own game, not even from hackers).
Btw, apparently the Asia PSN copy has been removed now.

@649, No, your PS Plus subscription does not pay for the servers. You are NOT paying for Activision’s COD servers, EA’s Battlefield servers, Bungie’s Destiny servers and so on. The servers are managed and maintained by the developers/publishers. Your payment for the game creates revenue for the dev/pub so that they can keep the servers running. Sony is just making you pay for PS Plus as a gateway to go online gaming on the developer’s servers.

By the way, my DriveClub is not running on 1080p resoultion. On my 1080p TV screen (Sony HX750), it is showing a thick black border framing the actual screen. There is no display calibration option to adjust the size.

Secondly, your the idiot that thinks online play online is worth $49.99 a year despite the fact that the Playstation servers have not improved since PS3 and the customer service has gotten worse. Yet, PS3 continues to receive retail games. So far the only difference in PS+ on PS4 vs. PS3 is online play. Pretty rendering the PS4 useless, especially when you add in the lack of next-gen exclusives. Don’t waste your time mentioning Infamous Second Son, 90% of those that purchased it had the platinum trophy in less than 36 hours.
