All anyone wants who is asking…all I want…is a status update. “We’re sorry. We noticed. We’ll have it up before xx/xx/xx at xx:xx am/pm. We are sorry and truly value out ps plus members.
My problem with this is that my buddies and I get excited about next gen hardware…excited about next gen games. OH YAY! Battlefield 4!!! wow let’s play together at launch…Nope you can’t do that. Oh My! Drive Club! lets race together! Nope can’t do that either. oh you say you want the chat to work. Well we are working on it and it should be out “soon” Why after all these hundreds of thousands of dollars spent making a game and the SERVERS don’t work??? What the f*** is that? This is getting old real quick. I love how I paid money for a game that was supposed to be free and it still doesn’t work the way it supposed to. RIDICULOUS Sony …let me guess when and if Planetside 2 ever releases it will be filled with the exact same problems. And probably The Division will be as bad….Let’s hope that the folks at Rockstar don’t screw anything up come the 18th of November.

You guys should actually try out Dust for Ps4, I thought it was gonna be eh, but i’m so wrong its one of my favorite PLUS games this year on the PS4 side!

I do like dust, I played the demo back on ps3 some time ago, I wanted to buy it then but couldn’t. Great news to me when I heard it was a free re-release on ps4!!!

That’s like the third time I’ve read that. One person said they called support and that it was a miscommunication, we were NEVER supposed to get it free, just a discount for plus members, which is completely false.

Sony’s had long enough to fix the problem with DriveClub Ps+ edition or give their customers an explanation. Now, no matter how good the game may or may not be, I will not purchase a product from a company that ignores it’s customer.
Im in the same boat, I do have a PS+ account, its just not this one. I think after 11 pages of “Wheres Driveclub?” the point has been made. and the issue has actually been address, Sony has stated they are aware of issues with the Playstation Network and some of the games involved right now specifically pointing out Driveclub and NBA 2k15. People just seem to think this is the ONLY place you can get that information. Check out the status of PSN, it says they are aware of the issues and are working on it. And everyone saying Dust is amazing and try it out, it is, im playing it now. Seriously, play it to pass the time.

I’m not upset that the Plus version of Driveclub isn’t out yet, but the lack of communication is a little frustrating. You can’t please everyone and there would still be a few people complaining about the delay even with a post to indicate you’re aware of the concerns as a company, however more than half of the people voicing their displeasure over this would be sated by any form of communication to indicate you’re working on the issue. Even if you don’t know when it will be fixed, atleast saying something goes a long way to soothe your customers.
I have plenty of games on PS3, Vita, and PS4 to occupy my time while I wait, but since I’ve been anticipating this game for over a year it would be awesome to receive any form of communication. :)
Also, thank you for putting Dust on the IGC. I enjoyed the 360 version 2 years ago, and would have purchased the game again on PS4 so I am glad I saved that money. Once I get a chance to demo Driveclub, I can put the money I saved towards a full version if I enjoy it enough. The sooner the game is up, the sooner you can get my money.

Well the only way as consumers to voice our dissatisfaction with more unfulfilled promises regarding the ps4 is to no longer give our money to sony. Cancel your ps+ if your not satisfied, stop buying things from sony services. As evidenced by their lack of response to DC ps+ not being up today they couldn’t give a rat’s behind about the unhappy consumer. They couldn’t even take the time to let us know they are aware of the issue and are working on it with a simple apology. Takes two minutes. You can type tll your fingers are blu as long as they have our money they have nothing to say.

Divekick was NEVER cross-buy.
At least not for PS4.
It was for PS3/Vita, but the PS4 version is the “Addition Edition”, which is a separate purchase. This has been clear from the start.

The delay and lack of communication is frustrating. Just to reiterate, I am already playing the PS Plus Edition of DriveClib. I got it from my Asia PS Plus subscription and they already had it up some 15 hours ago. Considering that Asia PSN is the absolute worst of all the regions (it’s so bad that US PSN beats it by several laps) and they already go it up, this is ridiculous.
(Even though I am already playing PS Plus Edition from Asia, I still want the US version for the ‘proper’ XO button mapping. I don’t want to play too far into the Asia version as the save file will most likely not be compatible with the US version of the game.)
To address the people speculating sony is no longer going to give us a demo are not reading all the comments on here. People who have actually paid full price for Driveclub today have had massive problems connecting to Driveclub servers. I’m speculating that the Driveclub demo was held back intentionally to keep more people from trying to access the broken servers. Sony doesn’t want to lose face by admitting the game is broken on it’s big release date so they go MIA. The less people that have access to a broken game the fewer complaints online and on facebook. Look there’s only 600+ comments on here and maybe 500 are requesting DC ps+. That’s a drop in the bucket compared to how many sony consoles are out there. People making noise are in the minority and have been shuffled to the back of the line. That’s why no response from Sony
Got info on driveclub its not all sonys fault,evolution studios is trying to fix servers before the ps plus edition is released. They had a launch day server failure so they are working to fix it before its released. Sony should gave us this info but they’re Sony so hey lol
Have any of you ever worked in a call center before? Most of those high school students do not know their bung hole from a hole in the ground. If by chance you got somebody over seas, then you prolly didn’t understand them anyways and had to call back just to get told some information that I am sure is being passed around the call center as the sure fire way to shut people up and get them off the phones so they can deal with more pressing matters.
Apparently, EVO studios have said the server issues definitely are whats preventing the PS+ Edition.
So I guess we have to wait for Driveclub PS+ Edition.
But still, I don’t understand A ****ING thing about DLCs: So if you have the PS+ version, which is honestly a glorified demo, you then have a paid DLC, which amount to what?
What is the difference with the full version, that you can then upgrade to, but which still has another, free DLC?
What’s the difference and logic behind?
Even if the servers are not up, why stop people from playing it as single-player? Why stop people from downloading the PS+ Edition first and be ready to play the moment the servers are up (it’s a 16GB download, could take some time)?
Im sure it’s what someone suggested earlier. Even if the single player were made available, you would still have thousands trying to connect anyways. So they just want to address all issues. Everyone knows its being worked on, they have seen what people are saying. It’ll get here when it does. Seriously though, the other games made available are amazing(ie Dust). Play those for a bit to get your mind off of things.

It doesn’t need to be said, but PS+ doesn’t carry the same value on PS4 as it did on PS3, all the PS4 free games have been indie games or digital release only titles that sell for $20 or less. While PS3 continues to get full retail release titles.
Server problems or not Sony should comment. Look how many people have posted. That’s just piss poor customer service.

I don’t know that much about the situation but when this article was written they were aware DC ps+ wasn’t going to be put up because it was omitted from the article. I don’t know how servers work but I’d imagine that there would be no way, this late in the release process, to only allow single player without having people still trying to access the online servers. Evo probably requested to limit online traffic until servers were fixed the quickest and easiest way is to delay the release of the demo all together. Honestly it’s only a demo. A really robust demo but just a demo. No need to get crazy it’s only delayed by 6 hours at this point. The most frustrating part of this is the disrespectful way sony has handled this by not giving us some sort of info as to why the delay has happened. To be ignored in any fashion as a human being is belittling and that is why I think we see so much anger on here today.
