@46 @47 from what i’ve heard there are 60+ cars and alot of tracks from a bunch of different European countries like irland, scotland, italy, germany and so on, also i’m pretty sure you won’t get snowy or rainy tracks in india region, hell we may not even get a night time track.
anyway i wouldn’t buy the full version yet even if you know you want it, play the demo first. if you didn’t like it, that 50$ is still in your pockets.
More tracks, more cars! basically the ps+ version is a basic version or “glorified demo” . you can be good with only the ps+ version, that is until you get into a club and more into the game. I am debating whether or not to purchase the full version, or trying the ps+ version first. I am leaning toward the full version. I will repost if i find the article i read about the number of cars and tracks on the ps+ version.

Hey Sony I think you forgot to advertise for your Driveclub game. I’ve not seen a single advert for the game anywhere outside of a few webpage ads. Why aren’t you trying to build up some enthusiasm & excitement for the game? The most action I’ve seen is streams of the game being pulled from Twitch!
I haven’t seen much advertising other than youtube, but i have caught a couple of commercials when i actually was watching something live on tv. That being said, i guess that they are banking on the free ps+ version to bring in people. plus from what i hear, you can purchase individual tracks and cars even if you only have the ps+ version. the ps+ version is basically a starter version and you can purchase through micro-transactions if you want to add content.

@Junguler, if you’d get bored playing it after a day or two, then you clearly have no interest in the game anyway, so I don’t see why you’re knocking it, unless you just like to “own” games just for the sake of owning them.
You all seem to forget – or never knew – that original plan wasn’t to give us the full game for free anyway. That’s why it was labeled as the “PS+ Edition”. Apparently what was said was that we’d get “the full game, minus a few cars and tracks”. That is an extremely vague statement, and anyone who thought we were supposed to “get the full game, minus 5 cars and tracks”, even if it had launched on the time, was delusional. What would even be the point of giving away 95% of the game and charging $50-$60 for a full version? The plan was ALWAYS to give us a small enough portion to justify a full purchase.
People need to stop thinking they are so entitled. You pay $50/year for 72 complete games (“oh no, indies!”) – 24 of which are PS4 games – TONS of discounts, which far more than make up for the subscription cost, online multiplayer.. And people are seriously upset that they didn’t get one $60 game for free at launch? You don’t deserve Sony’s generosity.
I have DriveClub pre-ordered and will be playing it Tuesday. Anyone who chooses not to buy it solely because they wanted it for free is going to be missing out, and no matter how much they whine about it, it isn’t going to change anything. If you must have the full game for free, then you can wait a year or two for it to be included in the IGC.
Do you have a time frame for the next PS4 console update ?….can’t wait to use game share and themes :)

Not much for me this week, but a solid week. I’m waiting for bloodbourne to get a ps4, mostly because I’m expecting/hoping for that to be when they show a red ps4 model. Maybe a bloodbourne bundle. Please?
Also, someone mentioned dark cloud. I’m putting $50 on my psn wallet, and leaving it there till that happens.

I rarely post comments but this incessant whining about what you get for $50 dollars a year is starting to get old. Nobody told you not to have a PS3 and or a Vita along with your PS4. I have all 3 and that $50 bucks has more then paid for itself with the games given every month and the extra sales for plus members. Geez. Can you say first world problems? If you don’t like what you get then let you subscription die and go on over to Xbox. They can use more members anyway. Geez. Thank you Sony! And double thank you PS Plus. Now! My question. Is it possible you can go back to post the store update article on Mondays again so I can know I much in ps money I need to by from the GameStop I work at? Just for the record, you don’t get free games for being a ps-plus member. You are loaned games until your ps-plus membership expires and if any of these games should go on sale during that membership, well there goes your chance to truly own the game outright. How can sony say that it is giving free games with a a ps-plus membership if you are paying money to own a game temporarily ? If anyone does belive that they are getting these games for free, I have a deal for you. Sign up for faintfeend-plus for a $1000 a week and i will give uyou a free 2014 Cadillac, which of course i will take back when your week is up and if that Cadillac should go on sale sometime during that week, Well…..TOUGH TITTY!
So I’m here to stand by Dust: An Elysian Tail as an excellent game. I’ve played through it before, and enjoyed every bit of it. If you’re still deciding whether or not to check it out, please allow me to give some input.

The story being told is captivating, and the people you meet are memorable. Beautiful hanpainted environments, and wonderful voice acting.
It was a wonderful game, and I’m glad it will have another family to enjoy all it has to offer.

Ok so i get a free version of drive club , even though its more of a demo than anything. And if i want to buy the REST of it its 49.99…. So why would anyone be excited about that?
Also someone said earlier that i can get all the trophies without the rest of the game? So you are telling me that with 10 cars and 11 tracks i can platinum this game? Im not worried about trophies but you see what I’m trying to say? Some one is wrong about the whole trophy thing or the only 10 cars and 11 tracks.
@75 none of those two are wrong, there are 10 cars and 11 tracks in the india region, i can’t give you link because my comment will go to awaited moderation status but if you search “what you get from driveclub ps+ edition” on google or whatever you’ll find articles confirming what i’ve said.
you can also plat the game with the demo version because there is no trophy attached to specific car or track, they are things like be the number 1 in races for X times or beat your freind lap time and so on so on.
@71 and that is why you’re not a PS+ subscriber.. Until you own a PS4. Everyone is well aware that you only keep the “free” games as long as you remain subscribed. You can look at that one area of PS+ as a rental service, but $50/year to rent 124 games is nothing to sneeze at. It also doesn’t stop those of us who want to own games from buying games. I own more than 90 PS3 games on disc alone, not to mention all the downloadable titles I’ve purchased, and I wont’ slow down when it comes to PS4 games either. And PS+ is still very much worth it for me.

When is minecraft for ps vita going to be released? It has more than a week already since it was sent to Sony for final testing, and still we do not have any updates about it. They could just atleast give us an update on how it was doing according to their tests. I mean, is 11 days still not enough?
I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned here yet or not but I did find out that the Strider 2 PSone classic does in fact come bundled with the original PS arcade perfect port of the original Strider. I believe when the Strider reboot came out in Japan that they got these PS1 titles for free with that PSN download of the new Strider title so I’m not sure why this wasn’t accomodated for NA PS3 owners too but better late than never I guess. I’ll be getting this for sure. I’m also hoping to possibly get a PS4 with my tax return next year which I’m excited about it that does come to pass. I’ll be hanging onto my PS3 though.

Driveclub will have a free version for the PS+ user. Is that the same version that the standard one who cost 50$? What does the Standard version contains? I understand that there a season pass that will contain all dlc comming later, but what is the difference between the free version and the standard one that i can buy in store or online store?

Where is Minecraft PS Vita? Not a peep from anyone about whether or not it failed cert testing! Come on now! We all know it will have bugs no matter how long you guys hold on to it!
For 93, the 50$ gets you all 5 countries and access to the campaign and all 50 cars to unlock whereas the ps plus version you only get 1 country (india) with 11 events and about 5 cars to unlock. It should be noted though that the camera and weather effects won’t be available in game till probably december. And even if you pre-ordered on psn you won’t be able to play till 12pst which is 3 for us on the east coast…which sucks, but i’m still excited for the game. I’ll be up early to play. send me a friend request and join my club!
