Great sale. Wound up re-buying all 3 Syphon Filters. (Still have all 3 on disc.) The others don’t interest me, I already have them through the IGC or otherwise, or I just don’t see myself finding time to play them. Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms fit into the last category. I have another day or so anyway if I change my mind.
A few baffling comments caught my eye:
I don’t get someone concerned with cross-buy when the games are $1. I get if a game is on sale and the other version isn’t. Okay, but if both are on sale for $1 each…eh, whatever.
For those who don’t like this sale, I hope you post what you *would* like and that Sony delivers that at some point (or at least considers it). But please don’t act like your opinion is the only one. Likewise if you DO like this sale. It’s just that: an opinion (like mine is).
@Majin_Neo & others: All you need is a sub-account without Plus and you can buy anything you want. Doesn’t cost anything, either.

Though wouldn’t have minded seeing Suikoden 1 or 2, and maybe the 2 Chrono games as well, and Xenogears. Probably asking for a bit too much I suppose on that, but good things attract great attention lol. Still good sale either way :D

Anyone know how to get Legend of Dragoon to work on Vita?
@Suntzu07 download it to ur PS3, do not instal it, just download the bubble icon (the installer) then transfer it to ur psvita via PS3-VITA Usb connection.

Pretty excited about the sale. I’m grabbing Malicious, Dino Crisis 1&2, Wild Arms 1&2, Legend of Dragoon, and Syphon Filter 1-3.
That said, man these glitches. Got in the store, tried putting in my code I bought off of Amazon and waited a minute only for an error, put the code in again and it wouldn’t except it, decided to go add games to my cart which due to lag when clicking on games and exiting back to the listed games took nearly 10 minutes, went into the cart and added the code which worked this time, got booted from the store, reloaded the store and looked through some other games that weren’t in my cart at the time such as Malicious and a few other PS Classics, tried adding them to the cart, cart deletes all my games, started re-adding my games which took even longer due to an issue where it wouldn’t allow me to exit from a game for nearly a minute, finally got all the games I wanted in my cart, checked them all out, started downloading the games and realized I have 280+ minutes left on the download.
This was my past hour. Yay deals!

Although I have it in disc form, I would like to purchase Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins on PSN. Does PlayStation have any plans to release that game on the PSN? Any info on why this particular game hasn’t made it there yet? It’s a cult classic.
Anyways, this is a nice sale. Got Papo and Yo, Dino 1 and 2. I wish there was a proper sequel to Dino Crisis 2, my favourite in the series. In fact, I wish I was a game developer since I have a dinosaur game designing in my head (and paper) for years that I think true dino-lovers would love to play. *sigh* doubt it’ll ever happen.
Can I download any of these for PS4?

You guys need to make it so Plus members can buy games already listed as ‘purchased’! I’ve missed out on countless sales and you’ve missed out on a good chunk of change because of this.

It’s simple, buy it here on the web based store or buy it through the store on your PS3….. download it on your PS3, then transfer the downloaded install file FROM your PS3 to your Vita…..
and before someone says “but I dont’ have a PS3″…… well sucks to be you. You dont’ know ANYONE that has one? GO to a friend’s house and log in your account on their console, go to store, buy game, download game, transfer game to your Vita, delete your account from friend’s console……….”
@athleticikdaism That’s another reason I’ll never get Plus……. their system is so fracked up it says you bought the game when you only “rented” it….. of course you could go get the physical copy at gamestop or amazon…… if there is a physical copy.

Of course, as usual, nothing for PS4. Even when PS4 does get free games, most of them aren’t fun. PS3 & Xbox get games like Hitman Absolution & Deadspace 3 and we get crappy arcade titles.

What’s with these comments… Crap games you couldn’t pay me to play? You guys are either nuts or are very young. This is a great sale, most of those games are very good. Already owned a few but ended up getting malicious, double dragon neon, dino crisis 2, wild arms, wild arms 2 and harvest moon. I think some of these older games are much better than most new games.
New Syphon Filter game is long over do. Been a fan since the very first played them all and last we saw of Logan was SPOILERS FOR LOGAN’S SHADOW….. Logan was nearing death without any confirmation if he died or survived. Please dont reboot the series either I would like to see it continued even if Logan died and we moved on to a new character as short of a reboot/sequel that would be fine with me if the game was based on Logan somehow maybe a conspiracy or something. I wouldnt even mind if they brought a revamped Create a Character back from Omega Strain. I know Omega Strain was not received well by people but I personally loved it it was one of my most played Online games on PS2 til the servers shut down. With the power of the PS4 we could really see a good Omega Strain type game maybe the sequel could be about the agent from Omega Strain you played as return and reference it. Or bring Logan back and have him survived what happened. I just dont wanna see a cop out and a remake because for me that would kill the interest of the game.

Already have many of these, either from Plus (remember when we got Classics as freebies?) or past purchases (or giveaways, as was with Dyad and Wild ARMs 1), but by the end, the only I may be missing is the PS3 Urban Trials. Just a matter of selling myself on Tekken and/or Virtua Fighter (but when I have Skullgirls, do I really…?).
Just bought Legend Of Dragoon. Man it’s SO LAME that PS4 can’t run PS1 games… Frankly, it would take MAX a week to get an emulator running, hire some modders, man….
If they can’t get PS1 and up running till the end of this generation, I’m starting to wonder if I’ll buy the next gen (PS5 I’m talking about). I just don’t understand, they SELL those games, they would do MONEY. It would take them a week or two to get a standard PS1 emulator running… frankly. How is that even possible. The PS4 have only one option: PS4 games. They remove the PS1 emu the PS3 had. They removed the PS2 emu some PS3 models had. They don’t have PS3 emu. They removed the music playback. They removed the video playback. They removed the DLNA compatibility. Man, this is starting to get lame. I love the PS4 games, but this is a kind of really sad joke.
Went to buy one of these games, get to check out and it’s like “to buy this you’ll need to add some funds to your wallet, minimum amount that can be added is $5, so if you press confirm payment you will be paying $5”
No i don’t want an extra $4 in credit I’m never going to use, this is a stupid gimmick.

Would love to see Bust a Groove come to the PSN. It’s my wife’s favourite PS1 game and we have the physical disc but when we try to play it, the timing is WAY out of whack. Not sure if it’s because refresh rates on new TVs are better or what but the game is busted if you try to play it nowadays. Her PS1 is borked, so no way for her to play it anymore.
Jumped on my Vita and didn’t see Legend of Dragoon. Is it not available on the Vita?
