Your Summer ‘sale’ only has 4 Vita games, three of which are only Indies, and only one PS4 game. Seriously? I guess the theory at Sony is that they shouldnt even bother competing with Steam in even the most remote sense. Disappointing.
But hey, at least we get a game that isnt an Indie for once on the Vita IGC. I’d love to see more larger, retail games on it and not just mediocre Indies

This summer sale is pretty weak. Last year and the year prior I bought so many games. The first game to peak my interest in this sale is Noctourne but it’s only two bucks cheaper. I may or may not get it. I do want to play it but I don’t know. I hope we get a flash sale this weekend. I’m itching to play something new.
Why isn’t there a PS Plus price column in the “Sales” table? This is so misleading, cos there is good discount for Plus members, like Rocksmith 2014 Edition is $41.99 during the sale, but Plus members get it at $29.39.

i will take doki, strider, and towerfall, thank you. i can’t decide if i should get thief for $26. i think that’s a little much for that game, especially considering it was already on sale for $30 a month after it was released, but the only non-indies i have are injustice and tomb raider. i’ll have to think about it. i’ll take a look at the sons of trigon pack because raven is one of my favorites =]

Already gave my generally positive impression of this month’s PS+ titles, so I’ll keep my post related to the continued disappointment with the weekly sales. TBH, the last good sale they had was the $0.99 sale. Today is really underwhelming.
Poor Vita sales with less than impressive pricing, 2 PS4 titles that have, again, less than impressive pricing and PS3 sales are showing that Sony is already thinking less of the PS3 than of the Vita, which it generally ignores. If Sony wants us to go digital, this is not the way to go. The indie titles they chose were good, but sales are continuing to be almost ignorable.
Gone for now and hoping for better next week but not very optimistic given the first two weeks of “Summer Blast”.

Look, Blog team, you’ve gone and confused people by only showing the Plus discounts in the Plus section. Wanna say I remember a time when you had content that only had Plus discount in the Plus section and a “see Sales section” for content that had a Plus Discount on top of a regular discount. THAT would be useful, especially since it’s a pain to compare the two lists we have now just to see what sales prices there are that DON’T also have Plus discounts on top, especially since, arbitrarily again, the order of price information is backward between the two lists (Original->Sale vs Sale->Original). Please, guys, whatever it takes to make assessing this information as smooth as possible.
As for me, only the Plus freebies. Sales aren’t to my taste, and new releases don’t shout to me.
So, where is Puddle PS4?
Sales are not that good I don’t like how the plus sale for Octodad is only a dollar less than the regular sale price. At 7 bucks I would of bite. Hopefully when I go home I can play some strider and see how its a fun game. At least that is what I hear from others.
Sales aren’t something people generally complain about, but… nu-gamers are a strange breed.
Observe the nu-gamer, and watch in disbelief at how A SALE actually triggers a negative outcry. As if they’re hard-wired to react to any new stimuli as an automatic disappointment that fell short of the invisible standard they imagined they’ve set. They complain that the games on sale aren’t discounted enough. Repeatedly. As if they’ve acquired the insider information that has enlightened them to the methods of fair and balanced product pricing. In reality, they’re actually being directed by narcissistic tendencies that tend to develop where there is an absence of gratitude, but, hey. You wouldn’t be able to convince them of that.
No genuine disappointment, just a vain attempt at self-promotion. Like, “hey, I have the ability to complain, therefore, I’m an expert! And my opinion is important!”
Then the mimicry. The nu-gamers parrot each other’s petty cries as if highlighting the trend of selfishness is supposed to influence company protocol. The naivete is kinda cute in a way, I suppose…
If whining paid money, they would all be billionaires by now. If only…
