I’m having the same dilemma. It says I have to pay for payday 2 even though I have a PlayStation plus membership. Please fix!!!
Even though it says “it’s free”, it still charged my card. I had to call Playstion to get a refund for the $39.99 and they told me that the 1 hour demo is free, not the game. So I don’t know what this post is for. I’m really irritated because my $40 won’t be back into my account for 3 to 5 days.
Thats straight bull. How are they going to claim a FREE FULL GAME service and then not deliver?
Same here it says 39.99 my blank its gonna pay if it say free for PlayStation plus members then it should update the market this happen when outlast came out

Its on the free games collections and when you try to buy it has written” this item is avaible as afree download for playstation plus members…” But it still tries to charge my wallet, fix it soon
I downloaded and it charged me. I think I still get the game but it’s a hassle I would rather not have had to deal with.

Ive noticed that all the icons have slowly changed to say free exept for the main item. On Payday 2’s store page, it still sais “Add to Cart $39.99” instead of “+Free”. So I think its slowly being fixed, but it might take a couple hours before its fully registered as free to play for ps plus members.

I tried to download PayDay 2 and it says free on the ps store, but when I click on it to download the normal price shows up. I ignored it and continued to checkout, and it told me to add more funds to wallet. Why can’t I download it for free?

Payday 2 is NOT free on my Playstation Plus membership account. It is in the free games category of PSN plus, but it’s listed at $39.99 and doesn’t have the “PLUS” logo underneath like all the others, what gives SONY??

Every week, I see the same posts from the same ignorant gamers who refuse to pay attention the previous week, when dozens of people educate them on the fact that the PSN usually updates at NIGHT, usually around 21:00, GMT-5 (EST in the United States).
If you went ahead with a purchase, knowing that it was charging your credit card, it’s your own fault, not Sony’s. Pay better attention in the future, and when you go to “purchase” something that is “free”, make sure it has the price of zero before you add it to your cart.
I feel no pity for anyone who bought Payday 2 before it got added to the IGC.

strange..i have another 6 months left to my plus subscription but when i attempt to download Pay.Day2 it says i need to buy it. not sure whats going on but I’m done trying to download it.

by the way it says its already available to download in the whats new and upon entering the playstation store greeter. so its not a case where it hasn’t updated.

Its been said several times, don’t download it if it doesn’t say +free. You will be charged otherwise.

Do NOT download the game yet. It’ll get fixed soon, hopefully, for now just waste some time watching Netflix or playing Metro or something. Check back regularly here and eventually people will start posting that it’s fixed. This is the exact opposite of last week, which Metro updated to be free and wasn’t listed, where as Payday is listed but isn’t free lol
Okay does anyone think itll be fixed by tonight? If not im just gonna play Call of Duty Ghosts instead…
When I try to get PayDay 2 it said says that I have to pay for it even though it does say it’s free.
i just went to us.playstation and it lists Payday 2 as “coming soon” so im sure its not up yet.
The download button or whatever’s not showing up but when I started scrolling down I noticed that the Full Game Trial is free for plus members. Am I the only person experiencing this? :c

Fixed over here. If it doesn’t show up for Free in the PS Plus tab yet just use the search function & look up Payday 2.

I was able to get it by free by ordering it from the Playstation mobile app. Just have to go into the “Downloads” area of the Playstation store to start it then
