One of the most critically acclaimed PS Vita titles, Soul Sacrifice, is now available in the Instant Game Collection. Created by Keiji Inafune, best known for his work on the Mega Man franchise, this action RPG pits you against an evil sorcerer. The question is, how are you going to defeat him when you’re locked up in a fleshy cage? A talking book named Librom (it reminds me of the spell book in Hocus Pocus) is the answer. Librom will transport you back to past events, also known as Phantom Quests, so you can train and develop your power. The game really shines with its “save or sacrifice” combat mechanics, where you’ll need to make key decisions about what you need most (i.e. more health or more magic), or choose to unleash a devastating black rite spell by destroying part of your body. The best way to grasp the game is to try it out, so get to downloading when this becomes free for PS Plus members tomorrow!

Where have all the sales gone?
I am resorting to buying PS One classics.
Persona 2, was not half bad, but about halfway through it has lost a lot of appeal after the 3rd Joker Mob / boss.
Syphon Filter has been a little better, but again the controls needed work (even after a little help with button layout change), and the AI is nowhere near as good as reviews gave.
Any idea if the new classic additions tomorrow will allow access to PS Vita?

I have no idea why the Syphon Filter or Crisis Core PSP games have not been added.
They were great, and with the button layout, they would be just as good playing as Metal Gear Peacewalker.

I don’t own a Vita. The only thing I care about is the discounts, which have been non-existent in the past three weeks. This has been a pretty disappointing month for anyone who only owns a PS3.

Wish we had more discounts. One game last week and two games this week isn’t enough imo. Otherwise, great update!
People were complaining about last week’s PS+ Update as it only had 1 discount. “Discount of the week”…. PS+ heard the complaints and fixed the problem. They put 2 discounts of the week which are really 2 overpriced games. I will give credit for Binary Domain though as that compensated for the ridiculous discount of the week for last week.
And if PS+ will have a thanksgiving/black friday sale, PS+ should tell their subscribers what it will be earlier. Lot of people will be busy with thanksgiving and shopping so they won’t be checking for psn blog or playstation store for PS+ deals. If you tell us now what discounts, subscribers will KNOW and make a mental note to buy some discounted games on thanksgiving/black friday. This is business 101.
To everyone who got their $10 credit from the “spend $50, get $10 credit” back, you MUST spend that $10 credit by Dec. 2nd (I believe) or it will expire. I definitely remember my $10 credit had an expiration date in December. Does anybody know the expiration date of the $10 credit from the “spend $50, get $10 credit back” in October?
Are there any PS4 game demos on the way sometime soon? I’d really like demos of Knack, Killzone and NBA 2K14.
I’m so happy Soul Sacrifice is coming to Plus. I’ve always wanted to play it and I’m guaranteed about 60 hours of gameplay if I aim for the platinum. :) :D

It may have not been an expiration date for the $10 credit expiration. The expiration date is for “click on the link below by December 6th, 2013″…. It is the expiration link in the PSN mail section I guess.
@leptonic…You need to be here more often. They announce the games coming to IGC at the beginning of the month. So, if I’m not mistaken, they will announce the new games by this Monday.

Week or two ago I have extended my plus subscription for a year and now I am not regreting it a moment :) Thanks plus for great service. where the hell are the black friday and Thanksgiving Day Sales？
Nothing for me this week, but posting anyway to recommend Soul Sacrifice. It’s an amazing game. Easily one my favorite Platinums of all time with PlayStation.
lackluster sales past 2 weeks. used to be you couldnt go 2 weeks in a row without 5+ standard discounts peppered with ps+ discounts.
capcom/ubisoft/rockstar, random holiday sales had way more discounts. granted there is a theme for those sales.
2 discounts compared to 10+????? also the store is turning into a utter mess. 2 sections for timed trials. mixed in with full game exclusives. yes timed trials are exclusive but then so is the igc, any discount, free themes and avatars.
as far as the stores goes: i have to click five times then scroll past advert games to reach the right wall just to enter the real folder i actually needed? streamlining equates to clutter for the way the store is. every week these updates have something that is soo hidden i actually have a reason to not support the store for this haphazard store management.
scrolling through 100+/1000+ entries depending which category with 2×3 grid is flawed at best. 3×3 is a joke as well. this store is getting worse week after week. weekly deals used to be right after you enter games category, now its buried? hell, just about every category is buried. i highly doubt people need the advert “impulse buy” game scroll when trying to enter every category.
you pretend to offer sales then you bury it soo confusingly deep its becomes a where’s waldo hunt?
its really telling when the blog also only updates the info for games when the movies/TV category has weekly sales as well.
had these blogs not been available i wouldnt know half the sales offered.

When will you announce PSN line up for black friday game sales? Is it going to be prior to friday morning? Reason I ask is I am wondering if I should hit the retail stores or see what is on the PSN that friday.

I was going to go get the playstation plus membership for $30 at game stop on friday to continue PS+. What kind of deal is this? Your CODE has an expiration date. Your credit does not. If you’ve redeemed your code already, you’re fine. Once the credit’s in your wallet, it’s there for good. It’s not going to up and disappear December 6th.

I have no idea… I am using the exact same account to post here and to try to log in PSN.
on the same computer… and only PSblog works. I mean, i haven’t logged out from the blog, maybe it is the reason why it works.
But normally i am always logged in the PSN, and this time, i cannot log in.
Cannot reset password either since the server is saying my email and birthdate are wrong ( seriously ??? )
