  • oh yeah and that $10 offer for every $50 not available in Canada!? whatta gyp! -_-

  • @150

The $10 for every $50 spent offer IS in Canada. And Mexico.

  • To be honest I’m extremely disappointed with poker night 2, its performance is absolutely awful on ps3. it’s constantly seizing up and hiccuping and failing audio and repeating audio before finally freezing up entirely.

Extremely poorly ported game and an absolute slap in the face to subscribers to use our money on such an awful port that clearly didnt care for ps3 users.

  • Still no PSOne Classics? Do you guys just not give a crap about those anymore or something? We haven’t had any of those in ages.

  • @Morgan,

I really apreciate that you care about putting in IGC games that we’re previously discounted. There is no problem with the other way around, anyway. But you really didn’t answer that does two games won’t be part of IGC, did you? Nope. You’re making me think that you’re gonna look for it not to happen again, but for this month it is too late. I assuming we’ll be seeing Okami and Remember Me very, very soon.

  • The “Demo” tab in the store is only bringing every PS3 or PS Vita Game by title. Not the demos, just the games that you pay for..

  • nvm.. you redesigned the store.. have to resort by release then click on the game even though it has a price..

  • Any word on PSOne Classics compatible for the Vita such as Spyro Trilogy and Final Fantasy V?

  • I’d been considering trying out one of the few poker games available on the PS3 for a while now, so when I saw the Poker Night 2 offering for PS Plus, I was extremely happy with it! However, now that I’ve actually played it, I can say I’ve never been more disappointed with a game.

It’s somewhat fun listening to all the commentary between the different characters for the first tournament or two, but after that there really isn’t enough variety to make it last much more than that. It very quickly becomes monotonous, and there’s sooooo much talking, between every hand and between every bet, that the actual game of poker slows down to a crawl.

Add on top of that the absolutely ridiculous 2-4 second freezes in the game every time it saves, which seems to be after every other bet or so, and the whole thing just becomes unbearable. I would hope in the future that games with these types of issues would not be slotted into spots in the US IGC. We have enough trouble competing with the EU IGC as it is!

Thanks for KoA, Hotline Miami, and SoC though! :)

  • @WanyaRolf: I agree entirely. I’m going to hold off on the Okami buy unless there is a straightforward answer.

  • Are there going to be any more Playstation one classics loaded onto the network? I’ve been waiting patiently for two games, one in particular.
    Legend of Legaia
    Darkstone

I would be totally stoked if these final two games were to be added, or at least the Legend of Legaia.

  • I was gonna post about the incorrect listing of regular prices until I saw a post by #141 Moofboy on October 15th, 2013 at 7:59 pm said:

“@Morgan: So… about that Okami comment I had on the PS+ update page…
Also, the discounts section is misleading for the top box. The regular price is actually the discount price (you did this on the PS+ update post also, which was confusing). Please update it, or remove it and let people refer to the second box that shows all three prices. Otherwise, it looks like a rather insignificant sale for, let’s say, Okami HD (seriously, check my PS+ post). Thanks guys!”

Really needs to be fixed in both places.

Also, we can currently add items to our carts in the PS Store if they cost money or are being offered for free to Plus members. This saves us from having to babysit our PS3s: Simply add everything you want, confirm the purchase, and download it all (which in turn installs everything as well). What’s lacking is the ability to do the same thing with demos. We ought to have the option to add demos to our carts rather than having to download/install each one separately. A relatively minor issue, yes, but one with a relatively easy fix too I’d imagine.

    Thanks. :)

  • @Thumbs: Agreed. They should all look like the Ultimate Editions box to save confusion. Unfortunately, I think they have stopped reading the posts by now.

  • im with Mjolnirs. please show what systems these sales are for next time.

  • Yay this update is hot lol…got TLoU DLC and already played yesterday…good job ND it looks and plays great….also got Okami for $7.00(couldn’t miss that) and the amazing arabic costume for LBP which is not listed in the post, what a shame hu……will get me some Darkstalkers avatars as well…great update.

    PS:DoA 5 DLCs are a huge ripoff.

  • Anyone else having an issue with not being able to move at all in the PS store? I am able to get in, but after I’m in I cannot move the cursor anywhere, I can see the cursor flashing, but when I try to move it, I get no response. I can quit the store just fine and it returns me back to the XMB, but cannot look around the store…..

  • $40 for Angry Birds. I think some game developers just get the wrong belief that console players are rich and stupid.

  • We will have Halloween Sales like European Store? I really want Siren Blood Curse, european price: €7.01, USA price: U$ 39.99. Its not fair.

  • I am currently engaged in a live chat with customer support, because I was charged the full price for Bionic Commando : Rearmed, simply because I had previously downloaded the demo version. They are working on refunding the difference, so if anyone else has the same issue, I recommend to just contact live chat support.

Also, as far as the issue of being able to purchase games that we had previously received as part of the IGC, there may be a solution for that as well. Keith D. is working on having the IGC-downloaded version deleted from my Download List, which will make me eligible to receive the full game at the discounted rate.

A bit of a round-about solution, but, as long as it works, and there IS a solution in place.

PSN support has highly impressed me so far.

  • Although PS Vita needs more casual, 5 minute games, Angry Bird’s price tag is an insult.

  • ok so i really need help understanding this.

I’d like to purchase Bionic Commando Rearmed. I have Plus. I had downloaded the demo in the past. It says I cannot download/purchase the full game because i’ve downloaded the demo. ?!

    0_o

Okay, whatever, because I had SF3rd strike demo downloaded and installed and i was able to purchase the complete edition just now. So I went ahead and deleted the Bionic Commando Rearmed demo installed on my system. I still can’t purchase the sale through the sale page or download the demo again, though BCR2 demo is also on my console and i can buy that. so whats up?

  • @171, contact live chat support. Put in a ticket for the difference to be refunded. I got a live human being within moments, and the issue should be resolved soon.

  • Marketing 101

Anyone NOT interested in Angry Birds will only buy at 2-3 bucks, if at all. For the AB fanatics, “Man 40 is too much, but I’ll buy it anyway!!”

  • been waiting for an okami price drop or discount… FINALLY!!! thanks :D

  • Whats the chance of us getting Steambot Chronicles for the PS2 as a PS2 Classic or Steambot Chronicles: Battle Tournament for the PSP re-released on the PSN?!

  • You guys really need to take a look at Poker Night 2, especially as a game offered as a part of the IGC. The repeated conversations aren’t too bad because they change somewhat from location to location, and you’re supposed to win and update your felts.

But the freezes are game-breaking. The multi-second freezes happen several times a hand as characters bet. But when a character busts out or big things happen in the game, there’s a good chance of a freeze that literally freezes the entire game. The only way out of this is to quit out of the game. Because this happens during “big moments,” it doesn’t happen during tournaments where you can’t catch a break and are slowly losing. But it happens quite often when you get good hands and are beating your opponents and are close to winning tournaments.

At this point, I’m hundreds of thousands of dollars down simply because of the game freezing up during winning tournaments. It’s going to make getting the 1 mil trophy close to impossible without exploiting the game and closing out of the game during losing tournaments just to compensate– and that’s not fun, it’s not playing poker, it’s just using an exploit to get around a broken game for trophy hunting.

  • Why in the world is Knack priced at $60? I thought you were allowing developers to decide their own pricing for ps4 games, specifically first party ones.
If so, why on earth would they price Knack at that high a price, considering Mark Cerny himself admitted that the game was more of a ‘second’ purchase at best for ps4.

  • Why isn’t The Simpsons Hit & Run a PS2 Classic yet…
    Please please let this be

  • Add me to the list of people complaining about no Crash and Spyro for PS Vita. It’s particularly frustrating since it is available on Vita in other markets. that doesn’t make any sense to me. I got excited when I saw the killer prices ($2.99) and thought FINALLY the games were coming to the Vita. I was mistaken.

At the very least have the decency to respond to our squabbling and tell us where the heck these games are. I’d buy them NOW if I knew they would be compatible later on, but I’m going to hold off. What if I buy it now only to learn the possible Vita compatible version later would require a separate download? That’s no bueno. These SD games are great for our tiny Vita screens.

Please stop ignoring all of us. Thanks.

  • hope you guys add FF Crisis Core on the vita! i would buy it right away!

    To make you cry.

    Yay! Mission accomplished!

  • Poker Night is actually pretty fun. I’ve been enjoying it. I usually don’t find games to be very funny even when they try to be, other than GTA games, but I’ve literally laughed out loud at some of the goofy things Sam and Claptrap say during a round of poker. It’s got a lot of charm.

The temporary hanging is somewhat of a problem I suppose, but it’s really not too bad. Anyone who takes poker seriously (like I do… sometimes) would use that extra time to think about strategy anyway, so, ultimately, it’s not that bad. It has frozen completely on me a couple of times, but that only seems to happen if you’re trying to rush through the game while autosave is active. If you’re patient and let the autosave finish before you move forward, you most likely won’t experience any more freezing. It’s worked so far for me.

  • PLEASE make more PS4 preorders available! Before the promotion ends! That would be really great considering that the console is just around the corner…

So… PLEASE make more PS4 game preorders available :3
I want LEGO Marvel Herores T____T and Killzone and Infamous and AC IV…

  • @182: No– in 2 days I’ve experienced about 10 times where the game has completely frozen and I’ve had to quit out of it and restart it. A couple of those times I even had to do a hard reset of my PS3. None of those times did the game catch up itself– it completely frozen and locked up. A couple of times I even let it sit there for 5-10 minutes. It’s done the other kind of freeze, where the game does catch up with itself, probably hundreds of times. But as I said in my post, it seems to do the total freeze most often when the player is up and other players are leaving the game.

To make money in the game, you need to win at least 1 out of every 5 tournaments; 1 out of 6 would keep you at $0. When the game freezes up 1 to 2 times of every 3 or so tournaments you’re ahead, that means you have have to win about 50% of the tournaments to make money instead of 20%. Without cheating, that’s not very likely to happen. And it’s essentially because the game is broken. I love Telltale and I agree they’re one of the few companies that really succeeds at laugh-out-loud humor, but they need to fix this.

  • Oh? Nice!

    Nice Sony.

  • I’m getting the Okami HD later today! :)

  • You are complaining about a $60 PS4 game?
Did you know that Colecovision games in 1983 were $69.99?

Or some SNES games in 1991-93 were $89.99? (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, Super Mario RPG, etc..)
N64 games were also $89.99 (Shadows of the Empire)
    Atari 2600 at $49.99 in 1977 would be over $100 in today’s money…

You are getting a hell of a deal!

  • @ SpooNManX

I agree with you there. Had a collection full of $50 NES cartridges back in the 80s… and remember, they never went on sale. They were $50 from the time they were released until the end of the generation. Simple 8-bit games. We saved up for them, bought them, enjoyed them, and appreciated them. Now people cry when a game is $30, even with all the extra flash and features of today’s technology. It’s amazing how people will complain about developers needing to make money to survive…

    @ FranklynStreet

I don’t know why it’s freezing on you that much. It only did a complete freeze on me twice and both times I was pressing X to deal the next hand while the game was still auto-saving. I’ve not had a single freeze during players leaving the table yet, and I’ve played it for a few hours already. Might have something to do with your particular model of PS3. Is it an older one? Is your HDD full? Crap, I don’t know man…

Hope it gets worked out for you, ’cause it’s a pretty fun game when you can keep it going for a while. I can see how all the resetting would kill your desire to continue playing.

  • Was ready to pull the trigger on a Drive Club pre order, but it looks like that’s not happening…….. I’m sad it is going to be delayed that was my day 1 title.

  • So, why isn’t BEYOND: TWO SOULS available digitally? On a side note, why isn’t Heavy Rain available digitally!?! Answer me, Sony– you published those games, & Heavy Rain is almost 4 years old. Please, I really want to play them & I can only download my games

  • Isn’t Darkstalkers marked on the PSVita actually for the PSP?

  • Deadly Premonition Directors Cut and Resident Evil 6 DLC!!!!

glad i didn’t buy any DLC for the game ^^

  • They should really add Ratchet & Clank Size Matters on the PS Store as a PS2 Classic.

  • I can’t buy Bionic Command: Rearmed because I already own the demo?! Looks like your “can’t buy the bundle if you already own some pieces” detection went overboard. I tried this in the Web store and on the PS3 and got the same error. Any chance you can get this fixed before the sale ends? Then maybe make that “can’t buy the bundle” a warning that I can click through? It has happened multiple times where I own a game and then the game + add-ons bundle goes on super-sale, selling for less than it would cost me to buy the (not simultaneously discounted) add-ons separately.

  • i have a question:is lego marvel superheroes going to be a demo in the psn store for psvita.I pre ordered the game iand i want to know if it is worth it.

  • CASHCOM only put discount on PS3 games? where is vita’s SXT UMVC3?

  • Are you all expanding this sale since PSN Store hasn’t been working all weekend (from both the PS3 and the web)? :(

  • Anyone here who bought Remember Me, had a problem with the facial animation of some characters in the cutscene? They don’t move their lips.

    Thx anyway.
