Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). a new syphon filter game!
XCOM on Vita! Preferably the upcoming Enemy Within, but I’d be happy with either version. Vita is definitely capable (the game’s already been successfully ported to iPad), and this is the PERFECT game for on-the-go play. I’m begging here!
PS Vita:
I’d like a way to play my vita games on my TV in case I want to share my experience with someone else in the room who would like to enjoy the story with me.
Uncharted set between 2 and 3 or after 3 in the style of Golden Abyss (please no more card games, if you don’t treat this like a legit system we won’t either.)
Bioshock would be cool as long as it could be done right, it doesn’t have to be a port it could be it’s own story just make sure you get Ken Levine in on it.
A Last of Us game that isn’t a port but tells a new story.
I can’t wait for November 15 (2 Months Away). I would love to see a Beyond Good & Evil sequel and a Tomb Raider sequel for PS4 and Vita.
Also I forgot to mention Burnout as well. I wonder what EA has its own trigger fingers to make a next-gen Burnout game. I really miss Burnout Revenge and Takedown. I wonder if Sony and EA could put these two in HD.
And finally Bayonetta 2 for PS4 and Vita. The Wii U is full of crap right now and I would love it if Platinum should just choose wisely because if the sales for the game fails, oh well… might just transport it to the PS4 and Vita instead.
more than anything else I want that sequel to The Legend of Dragoon to be developed. Part of me died the day I heard that it was in preproduction but was cancelled.
I would settle for a PS4 remake of the original.

If I am allowed to suggest, please buy Atlus, cause the only genre Sony dont develop themselves are J-RPGs, storydriven J-RPGs with leveling, round-based combat and so on, which I am curious to why that is, cause your main base is in Japan after all.
With Atlus as an exclusive developer you would be sure to cover that whole genre in a masterful way.
If we can just suggest a Game it would be:

Generally more J-RPGs for Vita, since it’s (a little bit) lacking in that genre.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within would be pretty awesome. I’d love to see Shadowrun Returns on the Vita too, that would be a fantastic fit. Games like Ni no Kuni or Tales of Xillia would be fun, more rpgs on the handheld in general would be a lot of fun!
hmm, an indie title that I would love to see on PlayStation consoles would be HAWKEN.
Obviously they are a small team and I don’t think they are ready to start the move to consoles but it would be cool if it did happen.
Buy the rights of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.
If you can’t buy the rights back of those 2 series atleast make HD Collections of the PS1 games.

My other pipe dream: I would like to see Sony reach out to EA and cooperatively develop/publish Medal of Honor as a large scale MMO set in WWII. Various factions could exist…Allies and Axis…with players/clans selecting specific regional affiliations…USA, Great Britain, French Resistance, Italy, Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Japan, China, Australia/New Zealand.
It could have large PvP battles combined with PvE “missions” that could effect the status of each side. And while it is all set in the backdrop of a historic period in world events, it could also take on certain alternate timeline aspects as the actual outcomes would be dictated by actual player actions.

Finally, I think with the PS4 and all its capabilities it is time to consider MAG 2. It was a game ahead of its time…and that time is now.

Here are my suggestions:
1. More reasonable prices.
Let me explain.
For example, I bought The Walking Dead for the PC for 4$ a few months before it even became available for the Vita. When it finally came to the vita, it was 20$.
I also bought Limbo for 2$ and Plants vs. Zombie for 3$ ages ago. On the vita, they are a lot more expansive, even now in 2013.
I hope you understand that it can be frustrating, as a customer, to pay 15-20$ for a game that has been out for ages on other platforms, and that you can buy on other platforms for a fraction of the price, just so you can play on you PS Vita.
2. Some games have been available as PSP and PS Minis for a long time but they were never brought to Vita, or they were but not in North America.
Vector TD come to mind. Please make Vector TD available for the Vita.
3. More turn based RPG’s, SRPG’s, Turn Based Strategy games, puzzle games
Games you can play on the go or on the bus, one turn at a time, calmly, and stop whenever you can without being in the middle of an action sequence.
I’ve always thought of the portable gaming experience more in these terms.
4. More Tower Defense. There are so many great ones available out there, please bring more to the Vita.
They make for great portable games for short sessions.
(Again…. please make Vector TD available for the Vita.)

All I’ve ever wanted to see is a Timesplitters HD Collection. Future Perfect is still my all-time favorite FPS, and I would love to be able to play it again.
In a world dominated by realistic war-focused shooters like Battlefield and CoD, it would nice to see a ridiculous game like TimeSplitters make a return, especially since the online functionality could make a comeback like with the Ratchet and Clank collection!

What I would LOVE to see is an action adventure game like The Last Of Us, Tomb Raider (2013)Grand Theft Auto etc. on the vita. Not everyone wants small bite sized games on the vita. Long action packed games are in short supply for the vita. I’d like to have something I can pour long hours into while the wife is playing on the ps3. Prefer it to be an new IP but at this point any of the for mentioned would be fine.

Please release an HD remake of Resident Evil 2. A reboot of the Resident Evil franchise would be awesome too. Talk to Capcom about it. C’mon Sony you can do it!
While you are at it, Silent Hill needs some attention too. (Book of Memories for Vita is NOT what I’m talking about). A well made, story driven Silent Hill is what can knock this generation out of the park!
You can do it Sony, you have the technology!

I would love to see FF type-O, Diablo 3, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Tales of Innocence R and Tales of Hearts R, Catherine, more PS2 HD collections, Kingdom Hearts HD, Legend of Heroes, a Bioshock game, and more strategy titles.
In general more RPGs would be really great. In terms of the Japanese games I understand localization limits a lot of these but even if we could purchase them just digitally it would make my Vita so much better and me a very happy player.
