Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). Vita just needs games made FOR the Vita. GTA, inFamous, Kingdom Hearts, anything. I’m tired of ports and HD-remakes. Especially when they come out a bit underwhelming on the handheld…(Ratchet and Clank)…I would LOVE to see a MGS made just for Vita. Or any game from the iconic Sony franchises like Gran Turismo or God of War especially! The PSP titles were awesome!

I’ve bought a PSOne, a PS2, a PSP, PS3, and I’m sure I’ll get a PS4 long before I bother buying an XBOX One. So far, the PS Vita has failed to convince me. Sure, it’s got lots of cool things to offer, but the thing that seals a deal for me when deciding to buy a console are the exclusive games (Cross play is great but if I can play it on my PS3 it doesn’t count as an exclusive Vita game). So far, the only PS Vita exclusive that I really want to play is “Uncharted: Golden Abyss”. Please, give me exclusives on the Vita of my favorite franchises. In my perfect world, we would have exclusive games on the Vita of Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Infamous, Jak & Daxter, Heavenly sword, DMC, Bioshock, Ape Escape. Dead Space, Residetn Evil, and pretty much every awesome franchise that is not owned by a competitor (awesome original IPs would be there as well). I’m sure it’s a lot of hard work and that it’s something that isn’t only up to you alone, but if you can somehow contribute to get us a few steps closer (and by steps I mean exclusive games), I’m sure that a lot of gamers and myself will buy the vita without a second thought. For the VITA, original games from the Siren series, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear (hell, I would add MGS4 as well, even if it’s not original), Onimusha, Getaway (we NEED a new Getaway, doesn’t matter what console) and, heck, any big PS exclusive series not out on VITA yet (take it from Uncharted, game looked, played and came out AWESOME, same goes for LBP).
I want also more rpgs.Try to bring back to home consoles valkyria chronicles(best jrpg for generation) from sega.Reboot yours:legend of dragoon or at least create a new rpg.Its no unreasonable that playstation doesnt have its own rpg or jrpg frachise.Also a localize of tales of vesperia would be awesome for many fans

And last but not least, set up sequels to already awesome titles for the Vita! Like, maybe a Cole McGrath-era Infamous game, a Gravity Rush 2, or possibly even Playstation All-Stars 2!

I would looooove to be able to upgrade a sub account to a master account :) , I would also like something like jak and daxter, crash bandicoot or resistance to return somehow, also idk if this kind of request counts but let dark souls 2 be easier to play with friends , I’m not one to go pking in packs but we all know in souls games, there are bosses that are nearly impossible to kill solo in first play through

I love that Borderlands 2 is coming to Vita!
I for one don’t mind ports for vita, I would love to see Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 (and 3) and the ratchet and clank future games on vita as well.
What I really want is a way to make all the great psn games I already bought for ps3 available on the vita. The telltalle games such as Sam and Max, Tales of Monkey Island, (walking dead is already going to be on vita) would be amazing for vita. Other psn hd games such as Ico and Shadow of the colossus.
Also there is so little info about it, but Rime looks perfect for vita!

The console version of Bioshock Infinite was subpar in comparison to the PC version. I would love to see a 1080p/60fps version with the PC’s High Resolution textures. Steamplay, trophy/achievement sync and even platform agnostic CO-OP convinced me to buy Portal 2 on PS3. I would love to see the PlayStation 4 continue that relationship with the rest of Valve’s Library! (Left 4 Dead anyone?)
