Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.

The ability to change my PSN ID. I know it isn’t a game, but Sony is doing so awesome at giving gamers what they want in the next generation that it seems a shame to not give us this. I am even willing to pay for the ability to change it! I know it’s free to make a new one, but… TROPHIES! :-)

Syphon Filter on PS4! Developed by Sony Bend. But make it more like the original Syphon Filter on the PS1 in terms of pacing and difficulty. Also try to get the original Gabe Logan voice actor back.
Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 1 & 2 HD could really use an english release.
Onimusha (both old and a new version), trophies for old-school games (because we know the patent was lodged!) FFXII HD and the ability to change username please.

Either of these would be delightful as I wait for Final Fantasy XV and Zero Escape 3.
I’m very satisfied with my PS3. I’ve never bought nearly as many games for any console I’ve owned than PS3 (and I’ve owned every console since the original Playstation and N64). If PS4 is handled the same way, then I can’t wait. As long as it gets all of the multiplats like PS3 did, I don’t care if they’re exclusive to PS4 or not. The occasional third-party Playstation exclusive like Metal Gear Solid IV, Ni no Kuni and Demon’s Souls is nice, but I think Sony’s first party studios are good enough to carry the Playstation 4’s exclusive line up by themselves for the most part. I’m really glad to hear that Ready at Dawn, Insomniac, Quantic Dream and Sanzaru are working on PS4 related games as well though. So yeah, if you guys are planning on handling the PS4’s exclusives like the PS3’s, then I have no worries that it’s in good hands.

We need a good western RPG on the vita.
Bring the Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchise to Vita. Ports of the old games or slimmed down version of the newer games.
Also, Dragon Age or Mass Effect would be fun.
Vita, on the other hand, I’ve been putting some thought into myself… The rush of indie titles it’s been getting is great, but I think a lot of people are in a similar mindset as me: we want more AAA retail games. inFamous, God of War, The Last of Us, Patapon, more Uncharted and Gravity Rush and all of the obvious first-party games would be very welcomed for Vita. I wouldn’t mind seeing side stories or prequels in all of these franchises. For example, inFamous Second Son is covering the good ending to inFamous 2. How about a Vita version that assumes the evil ending of inFamous 2 is canon? What happened in the twenty years between the prologue in The Last of Us and when Joel met Ellie (how did Joel meet Tess and Robert?) Stuff like this would be really nice. Aside from that, I think Vita would be a great place to revice some older Sony franchises like Jak and Daxter, Heavenly Sword, Ape Escape and Medievil. Maybe PS4 can be the place to introduce new IPs and Vita can keep some old favorites relevant.
The PS3 and PS4 are doing a fine job but what I need is mature PS Vita games:
GTA 4 (stories? Like on the PSP), The Last of Us, Journey, Infamous, Red Dead Redemption. GT 6 even if the car list is smaller. Mirrors Edge and so forth. Open ended games. Unit 13 part 2 with a cohesive story. Star Wars game. And anything awesome. Thank you for Borderlands and Killzone.

Might be a bit of a squeeze with fitting all the buttons but i reckon its doable, and GW2 isnt the sort of mmo where you have dozens of spells. And if pulled off i can really see it working, im really liking the new mmos coming to consoles and Arenanet said they would be up for anything.

The Crash Bandicoot games HD remake to PS4 and PSVITA, as well as the Spyro the dragon games!
Remakes of the old Final Fantasy games either PS4, PSVITA, or PS3, and also remakes of the GTA games.
And maybe some new Vita games from Playstation franchises like God of War, Uncharted, Infamous etc. :D
Something that won’t release a year after it’s console counterpart. Release it alongside the console versions, otherwise I’m stuck the decision of paying $40-$50 for a game that is only $20-$30 on my PS3. A good RPG along the lines of Elder Scrolls/Demon’s Souls would go a long way. New IPs above all else though!
My top choices are for PS4/ Vita are

There’s a ton of third-party series I would like to see on Vita. More Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto, Bioshock, Dead Space, Persona 5, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, etc. There’s way too much to list. Like the first-party games, it could just be side-stories or prequels to the main series. A Far Cry game on Vita that allowed us to play as Vaas or something would be a must buy, for example. I’m definitely buying Killzone: Mercenary, TearAway, Batman: Blackgate, and Rayman Legends later this year. If Vita could have a steady stream of games like that come out, I think it would start selling big time.

this is a good start of the games I would like to see on Vita. Other than Persona 4 golden and 3, there isnt a single game I care for on Vita. Put the Last of Us, DAO-2, and ME1-3, I1-2 on it? I couldnt grab one fast enough! Im on the road all the time so itd be easier than finding a place to plug up my ps3, but with no games I care for on it other than Persona which Ive beaten to death already, I have no reason to make the investment.
A new Ni No Kuni, for the VITA or the PS4, or both! :D

I would say expanding the PS Store is a great idea.
There are a lot of epic games that are not in the store and that are not accessible anymore.
For example, Final Fantasy Crisis Core is a great game, but you can only play it on PSP.
You cannot play it on PS Vita, not even PSP Go.
On the other hand, you can expand the store by adding more PS2 classics.
Like Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Final Fantasy 12, Shadow of Rome, and dozens of great games.
I hope this is read, because I believe it would mean a lot to all the players to be able to play their favorites
from previous consoles.
To add more suggestions to the list, The Last of Us sequels would be great, because the characters do grow on you fast. Uncharted sequel would be great too, more adventures with Drake can never go wrong.
The resurrection of Crash Bandicoot games would be awesome, newer and older generation can have more fun.
I would love to see a new medievil game or possibly a ni no kuni port for the vita

A better Call of Duty game for the vita, not for me but to boost sales. Sonic’s Ultimate genesis collection ported on the Vita, or at least Streets of Rage. And old Playstation one games that needed a light gun controller like Area 51 ported on the Playstation network with move compatibility.

Even if they are ports of older games thats okay i love the vita but in my eyes i take it as a portable ps2 why not make classics on the go hell it would fly off the shelves if you could get oblivion or fallout 3 on it haha also a major must is a new final fantasy for it that or a game like 3d dot hero
BUT ABOVE ALL Quality quality quality. this is a must the jak and daxter port was bad and there are a few others that should not have gone to shelves without that little bit of elbow greese and time put in to make it good like common.

What I want? In terms of new ip’s:
More squad based RPGs, think dragon’s dogma or mass effect, without shoehorned multiplayer, or at least make it optional, especially for us trophy hunters.
As far as saving a franchise, shenmue. Like Nintendo did for bayonetta.
In the “please don’t give up” category, Mistborn.
As for consoles: please bundle the ps4. Vita, eye and a year of ps+. I’d gladly pay $550-$600 for that.
Last one is though: think of how the vita and ps4 connect over wifi. Can the samething be done in some way between the ps4 and the ps3? I figure it’s way too late in the game to do this, but hey, you never know. It would be a form of backwards compatibility anyhow. If not, maybe we can get the ps3 games we own through gaikai at a significantly reduced price?
