Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). Re-Release Okami in HD
Re-Release all of the SHENMUE games, since I no longer own a Sega Saturn or Dreamcast
I think FTL,Universe Sandbox and Mark of the Ninja would be great additions to the PS Vita family
WE DONT WANT ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR SHENMUE HD 1& 2 AND SHENMUE 3. THOSE GAMES ON THE PS4 WOULD BE SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL. BRUTE POWER BABY!!!!!!!!!! Just translate japanese games.
I would love to see any ports or localizations for any games in the Tales series. Particularly Tales of Innocence R and Tales of Hearts R. Also some HD ports of Wild Arms games. You own the copyright Sony, use it!
There are a bunch of japanese games I want to see outside of Japan. Yakuza 1&2 HD and Yakuza 3 for the PS3 and then Valkyria Chronicles 3 for the PSP/Vita.
I also want to see a western release of the upcoming PS3 game Drakengard 3, but it’s not even out in Japan yet and chances are that Square-Enix will announce it for the west soon anyway.

Portal 2 or Mirror’s Edge would be great on Vita!
I’d like to see HD PS3/PS4 versions of Persona 1, 2, and 4 Golden, Crisis Core, Type 0, Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3, 3rd Birthday, and Dissidia.
I’d like to see the PS3 versions of Yakuza 1&2 HD, Yakuza 5, and Tales of Vesperia localized.
And I’d also like to see a PS4 version of the PC title, Amnesia.
If you look at the majority of the comments, whether they’re for PS3, PS4, or Vita, we want JRPG’s. It’s nice that there’s a lot of them FINALLY coming to the system now, but they should come to the PS4 a lot earlier. A lot of us associate Sony with the JRPG market, so try to please that audience as much as you’re trying to please the FPS audience.

Type-0 is in high demand, guys. Were I in charge of this kind of stuff, I would spend most of my time and effort pulling Type-0 and Tales of to the Vita. I’m no business expert, but I can project only a boost in profits for you guys. So…y’know…get on that.

After a recent topic on Kotaku about JRPGs, it looks like the Shadow Hearts franchise brings back fond memories to quite a few fans of the genre, including yours truly… Making them available again to modern hardware owners would be a joy, really.
Other than that I’ll agree with most here: we need the localization of Yakuza 5 and Valkyria Chronicles 3 (the Yakuza HD collection sloukdn’t be a problem, since Yakuza and its sequel got a Western release on PS2); but it will take some effort to convince Sega that there’s a market for them, maybe. And yes, there is.
Speaking of Valkyria Chronicles, I hope that the next installment of the series will be on a home console, and yes, we need more Yakuza on PS4!

I would like to suggest something for Third Party Production. You guys are going to get 100s of game requests and will be completely overwhelmed. There are already over 500 replies. Choose the 10 most popular games that you would like to work on and let us (with PSN accounts) vote for the game we would most like to see, keep in control and don’t let us down ;)
A remake of Shenmue 1 and 2 for the vita would be excellent along with a new Shenmue game for PS4. Yakuza on the Vita would be great also.
I’d love to see Robbit Mon Dieu available in the Japanese PS1 classics section! Also, a new Jumping Flash game for PS3 or PS4 would be amazing.
Skyrim would be a massive system seller for Vita, as would any of the Elder Scrolls games. I also think getting out certain collections of games — such as the first few titles in the Dragon Age series or the Mass Effect trilogy — via partnerships with publishers like EA would be great for both parties, as they would shift Vita consoles (think how well Nintendo do on the DS with their back catalogue constantly being re-released on portables) but could also be tied in with upcoming new entries in various series. I.E. Dragon Age: Origins re-release on Vita would be a great way of reigniting interest in the series for the new game Inquisition, and so on.

This is Awesome news.
Love the idea ,of Boderlands 2 for Vita.
This handheld removes the complications of “old”people who do not like the idea that a person can amuse themselves for hours/days with very little money.
By making it mobile, “gamers” are liberated from oppresive types that think games are unnecessary.
My own personal wish list for Sony games ,though unlikely, would be for a Socom 3 / Counter Strike remake, possibly even Rainbow Six / Splinter Cell.
Phantasy Star Online 2, and Naruto would be nice.

From PS2, I would like to see The Mark of Kri, Drakan, Shadow of Destiny, Gladius and Klonoa 2 in North America please.
It would be cool to see some of the indie RPG’s on there, such as Shadowrun or the upcoming Wasteland 2.
Space shooters, such as Colony wars or the upcoming Star Citizen would be awesome.

I’m a huge fan of JRPGs, so I’d love to see some Tales games or FF games added to the library. I know there have been some made for the Vita in Japan (Tales of Innocence R), so it’s definitely a possibility. As for something a little more out there, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim would be awesome, assuming anyone could get them to work.

Any Japanese game for vita in English, hate importing them :/ and more visual novels for vita (as well in English) JP vita market is big but we don’t getting much from that, non good games for vita coming out from Japan :/

I would love to see Shenmue on either PS3, PS4 or PS Vita, even a simple HD remake would make a splash and headline every gaming site out there. Shenmue has a large and eager fan base.
