Don’t be alarmed — no, it’s not Monday. Although PlayStation Plus updates typically kick off the week, we’re trying something new by pulling back the curtain on our Instant Game Collection updates a little early.
For September, Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection is leading the charge, so you can break out your PlayStation Move Controllers (yes, regular controllers work too) and start destroying zombies. Later this month you’ll get the HD-remastered version of iconic PS2 classic ICO, one of Rockstar’s awesome portable versions of Grand Theft Auto (in this case, GTA: Liberty City Stories), Ubisoft’s loveable platformer Rayman Origins for PS Vita and the classic arcade shooter Galaga Legions DX.

See. This is how bad the US customers are getting the shaft from Sony. I own the SotC/ICO already, but what I want to point out is that this month, we get ICO as a single game.
However. In June, Europe got Shadow of the Colossus and ICO. This is a first party title. This isn’t something Sony has to pay out to a developer. Unless you live in Europe or Japan regions for PSN, you’re getting constantly screwed by PS+ in comparison. It’s bs how much more the other regions get in comparison to us.

A little irritated here. I purchased Rayman when it was discounted a few weeks ago, now it’s free. I should have just waited. The rest I either already own or don’t particularly care about. I was extremely impressed with Plus for my first two months, pretty much the whole summer, but I feel it’s been lacking the last couple of weeks.

I think it’s a great line up for this month, really excited about ICO and Rayman Origins. There’s one thing that I find a little disappointing though, if I recall correctly ICO was offered to Europe WITH Shadow of the Colossus as a pack, why are we only getting ICO? :(
@562 It’s probably going out on the third week of September. Games are released in order of appearance in the list, one per each week of the month
As I said in an earlier post…Morgan doesn’t respond to us and likely won’t at all. He only seems to care about the positive responses. If it makes him and/or Sony look good, then he’ll respond. If you have issues or concerns, he’s been trained to not give a c**p. If he did, he would at least say something in response to the HUNDREDS of posts from users unhappy with their service. All we get (if that) is a robotic response to go call customer service.
It would be nice if he actually cared enough to listen, then he could talk to people who can make changes to better appeal to all customers.
We’re paying for a Ferrari and getting stuck with a Kia. It isn’t right. Show us that you care and do something.
Ico is pretty good but why not offer it with Shadow of the Colossus? This month games are pretty nice but i have always been curious about why ps plus games for NA are not as EU have, i mean, big hits from this year vs ps2 remakes? come on

Also its still kinda irritating that cross buy games are being released separately (PS3 version 1 month, Vita verson the next) its great and all but it kind of feels like youre trying to milk the whole PS+ idea instead of truly offering MORE great games.
Ico is all I’m excited for, EU got it much better this month, I would love the Jak and Daxter collection and I would definitely prefer a great game like AC 3 instead of 2 RE shooters that I hate.
Oh well at least I got Ico to look forward to since I just beat Shadow of the Colossus.

Really really disappointed. People keep comparing US Plus with EU Plus and they are right about it, it’s completely unfair that we get ICO without SOTC.
I was happy with my subscription until now. This month was a big let down for US Plus subscribers.

Honestly for me, the PSP game this month is the only thing I care about at all, I already own every other game coming up in the IGS, though Umbrella Chronicles only on the Wii so at least playing with a PS controller will be new. So it irks me that so many people complain so much about getting PSP games. I WANT more PSP games, the PSP was an awesome system with tons of great games that I wish was as supported when it was current as it seems to be in the IGS now. It had some great RPGs too, maybe switching focus to those will quiet some of the dissent.
Morgan haro like you told the user unflushablelog to do, i entered in contact with the service customer because i also felt bad because i buyed Rayman Origins last month and plus is giving free now. I want everybody to enjoy great games like this, but i dont think its the right thing to do now. But here is the customer service quality:

The amount of childish whining on this blog always makes my skin crawl. It’s people like YOU that are making gamers look like immature idiots. Every single month, people complain about the PS Plus releases. Let’s look at what a year’s worth of PS Plus…$50 a year, which is cheaper than a new release for PS3.
1. Over $500 worth of games. This is OVER 10 TIMES WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE GAMES. You’re paying around $5 for each game offered.
2. The other features of Ps Plus make it EVEN MORE worth it. In terms of discounts…yes a lot of games that are very with Plus become free later on. So what? You paid a drastically reduced price for it, and then you can’t say “OMG SONY WTF I DON’T EVEN OWN THESE GAMES SO THEY’RE NOT EVEN FREE!!” You get to keep the games you buy

Has anyone been able to get Rayman Origins on the Vita yet? I have been looking every day this month and so far its still not there (for free). Am I the only one?

Still waiting for Liberty City Stories to be available for free. Haven’t played the game in years. Hopefully it comes out about a week before Grand Theft Auto V does so I can play some GTA while I wait for more GTA!

Plus sucks this month. 2 games for a motion controller that I don’t have, a game that would be better played on an arcade machine, 2 games that I beat ages ago (Ico in 2001, GTA in 2006 respectively) and to top off it all off we get a game that I just bought on PSN because they had the nerve to put it on sale before giving it away for free. I don’t think I’ll be renewing next month unless they surprise me.
I’m in the camp that thinks plus is relatively garbage in the U.S. every month. I keep it because it’s relatively cheap and I do occasionally get a game that I do like, that I would have never bought; but there is no denying the disparity between UK plus and ours. They sad truth is, if this is the sad pathetic excuse for what should be a quality service for a console that is entering it’s twilight years. Then I can’t wait to see what Plus on the PS4 looks like, because I’m sure the minute you guys know that you have everyone by nether region with your multiplayer paywall, you will stop trying all together.
You will stop gloating about customer satisfaction and start trumpeting the amount of customers you have, because they have no choice but to pay you guys to access the other half of the game THEY PAID FOR ALREADY. Seriously, in the public eye you guys might look like heroes next to Microsoft, but in reality, you are a few cheap free* games away from totally being on their level. It’s sad but true.

Still don’t see Rayman (or any other new games on the Vita). When do the free Vita games get released? Everyone is talking about it on the comments like it is actually out. Do I need to do something else to download it besides just being a Plus member and going to the playstation store? I am starting to get a little disenchanted with Playstation Plus….
Definitely one of the better months in the last couple as least for me. The Resident Evil game is pretty bad bass. I enjoy having something new for my move set up plus I get you use my new ps move assault rifle :D glad to have something to to play on my vita also, just been sitting there, with nothing to play. Ico sounds interesting to try out. Over all pretty happy, but something big should happen next month.

Just a question. Will Rayman be a cross-buy on vita and ps3? That would be awesome because I no longer own a vita but I would love to play it on ps3!!!
On some of the past months, you guys would which days the games are available and which days older IGC titles would no longer be available for download in one post. Why did that stop? I know it’s no big deal, but i’d simply like to know. It was convenient to have all of that information together.
