  • I really want to get Cloudberry Kingdom, but I’m on the wall about it. Also, someone said something about Tales of Xillia avatars. That would be wonderful! Speaking of avatars, we need the Dynasty Warriors 8 avatars that Japan has! They have the WHOLE cast AND the Wei, Wu, Shu and Jin logos. Which is pretty swell if I do say so myself.

  • Dang, Defiance suffered a HUGE price change! Do you think you can make Deadpool the same price of $9.99 too? :D

  • aaaand, no spelunky.

  • So awhile ago you guys surveyed us and asked what type of games we wanted in playstation plus and we overwhelmingly requested rpg’s. So why haven’t we seen rpgs come to plus. Now we have Vita owners complaining about psp games being added to plus. So I have an idea kill to birds with one stone.

Give us rpgs for Vita but make them psp rpgs

    Jean D arc.
    Valkyria Profile
    Riviera
    Gungnir
    Lunar
All you have to do is test them out and literally port them over it takes a few days at most.

or give us some good discounts on some ps3 rpgs or Vita rpgs I’d bu Ni No Kuni for $25

  • PrimeroIncognito

Just finished the Narco Terror demo. It was pretty fun. Graphics snobs won’t like it, but actions fans probably will. Lots of explosions and machismo galore. Using the turret on the truck to mow down hordes of bad guys was satisfying. :)

I’m still trying to decide whether or not to buy the full game… hmm… so many other games I still want to buy…

  • CRASH BANDICOOT AND SPYRO FOR PS VITA!

  • When will the dark cloud series come to the ps2 classics collection. I’m also hoping i will see the Dot.hack/G.U series to.

  • Don’t see Black Ops ll: Vengeance DLC in that list. It releases Thursday.

  • Hopefully next weeks update will bring us something good.

    @ Tjoeb123

Are you nice? Or are you just weak? I think you’re getting your weakness confused with kindness, in the reverse order that people normally confuse the two.

If you were nice, you wouldn’t take kindly to his constant negativity. Nice (but strong) people tend to take a stand against that kind of stuff. Your refusal to acknowledge his blatant obnoxiousness is very telling of your internal fortitude.

But if you’re really nice but somehow missed all of his nonsense, then, I’m glad you’re nice. We need more nice people in this world. I used to be nice (sometimes I still am), but the constant degradation of society has really changed the way I see people and situations, and thus, it has changed the way I react to it.

But just as you say it won’t change how you feel, neither will you change the fact that he pisses off a lot of people with his juvenile antics. No matter what you say, it won’t change that he is indeed presenting himself as a jerk on a daily basis. And it won’t change the fact the many people DO NOT LIKE IT.

We haven’t had this conversation every week, though. I don’t know why you said that.

  • I’ll look at the new Muramasa avatars even though my current one is really cute.

I, too, am looking forward to Tales of Xillia. I am currently playing my first Tales game, Tales of Graces f, and I love it. So I’m going to jump on every PS3 Tales game now. It’s not Ni No Kuni great, but it’s really fun nonetheless. I pre-ordered from GameStop.

@Primero, you’re a little extreme sometimes, but you’re certainly not wrong. Those of us who have been on the blog for years, and read every day, all know who the smart/decent people are and definitely who aren’t. Such is the internet and its anonymous cowardly bullies who are so unhappy with their own lives that they have to be a**hats to strangers.

But it’s always amusing reading these threads, so thank you, “nice” people and a**hats alike!

  • Oh, hey, Primero, I sent my comment above before reading your #110, so you actually said what I was only thinking of saying to TJ. I see TJ post a lot, and she always seems to be nice and positive. Odd that she’d staunchly support someone who is the opposite.

    But, it’s all funny anyway.

  • Hey there, playstation staff. Maurice Bell a.m.a networking here. I just want to say that so far, you’re doing an excellent job with the updates on PSN. I’m a vita owner and I’m quits pleased with what you’ve given me so far. The indies, remastered versions of classic games, PSP, PS One, and especially vita. I was wondering if you’re going to keep expanding the PSP & PS One categories in the store. I know you got more vita titles coming, but I just want to know if you’re keeping at it. If you do, that will be great.

  • P.S. Please pardon the typos. I was typing on my phone.

  • @112 (lisatsunami)

Um…I’m a guy. I just like having anime chicks as my avatars,

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ lisatsunami

I just don’t believe in sugar-coating anything. I believe in being firm, straight-forward, and to the point.

Respect is the number one thing, and if you give it, you get it. If you don’t give it, you get crap in return. That’s just how I am. There’s no middle ground when it comes to respect. I treat my friends like royalty and my enemies like trash.

  • Looks like I’ll be picking up BF3 Premium and Max Payne 3. Great week!

  • Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you sooooo much for Pixeljunk Monsters: Ultimate HD. Pixeljunk Monsters will always be a treasured classic.

    Thank you

  • I was expecting more discounts, but I guess you are saving them for next week (new month), right? RIGHT!?

  • I REALLY hope Cloudberry Kingdom is CROSSBUY
    -crosses fingers-

  • Someone can tell me when enabled PlayStation Plus in stores of Argentina and Chile?

I write here, because the staff of PlayStation Latinoamerica do not respond NEVER…

  • Tjoeb123,

Come here every week and voice your displeasure over irrelevant issues and then call people at Sony incompetent for not attending to your every whim, then you’ll see why he Ryu gets the heat he gets, plus calling every other game he doesn’t like to be either dumb or pretentious.

You can only get away with it for so long before you start to get on people’s nerves.

Honestly, I saw someone say that he is 25. If that is true, wow. All this time I figured he was like 15 or something.

  • @115, TJ, lol, then it all makes sense. Women and men generally view loutish behavior differently.

Anyway, at least we agree on some JRPGs. I’m new to that genre because I don’t like the old-school turn-based games. But the combat system in Tales of Graces f and Ni No Kuni are so much more accessible, especially the latter. I loved it so much I stuck with it till I got the plat.

  • @ #67 and #75

Your right that you can “press buttons” and complete a reset of the device which will then allow you to download a game from the PSN on the Vita but that is not the issue. I have to do that every single time I go to make a purchase on my Vita. The issue is that you shouldn’t have to do this! Purchasing a game to the device directly from the PSN should be utterly flawless – no errors, no freezing, no problems. it just works.

Requiring users to press buttons in some random pattern in an attempt to unfreeze the device, reboot, re-log on to the PSN, spin around 4 times, throw salt over one’s shoulder, and then hope that the download will start properly does not make for a good experience. Granted I am being sarcastic, but if you want to encourage people buying from the PSN; it should just work. Any problems are simply barriers, annoyances, frustrations, that get in the way of enjoying the device. And that can not be good for business.

The fact that this problem is barely acknowledged just serves to exacerbate the situation further; I get the frustration from #67. I share it.

  • @36 Do it! Max Payne 3 for that cheap is an absolute STEAL! If I didn’t already own it, I’d buy it now! Personally I thought the game was great and has very unique gameplay. Worth every penny at that price! That is an incredible value! But please note, the download is HUGE. If I recall correctly, it’s about 14 GB. Unfortunate there but for that price, it’s very much worth it. Hope that helps! :)

  • @primeroincognito & @nolo451

I completely agree with you both. Commentors like Ryu and boomstickbhg are just bullies who hide behind their screennames in order to make outlandish, condescending statements towards the Playstation Blog staff and other members of the Playstation community. Calling people who work so hard to provide us with great content and who often don’t have the power to make the changes they desire “incompetent” is just obnoxious and rude. Cheers to you both for being vocal about this behavior.

  • So I checked out the weekly deals this week and take away the price drops and the games that’ve been their for weeks now and you have nothings. Literally nothing oh wait sorry 1 game that’s on sale this week well 2 of them Journey/Unfinished Swan and MP3.

  • Got a corrupted version of Dokuro so I had to reformat my memory card and I lost all of my save data. So the one decent game we get this month in the IGC causes me to lose everything great day, just great.

  • @127 some commentors may be jerks but they have a point where else are we supposed to go and get our voices heard to complain about the subpar service we get when the store updates or mislabeled prices in the blog post itself.

I tell you what ask the blog who do we go to be vocal and yes sometimes complain see what they tell you. If you thought a blog was all roses and sugar fairies you are mistaken its a place for conversation and input.

  • @123

Yes. I see that he does that. And I explained to him that it’s Namco’s doing, and I call out those that are hating on him (because I hate seeing these discussions).

Anyways, PSA – The TEKKEN REVOLUTION patch and DLC stuff is now live (in the in-game store only). But I can’t seem to access the Lili costumes I just paid for (it doesn’t even show up as a service in my Services List).

  • Wait, I have to PAY for RE-CROPPED avatars of Hyperdimension? I thought they updated them… Not really fair since the cropped ones should have been there first instead of trying to censor.

  • Defiance for 9.99 … i might look into that now. anyways time to try blueberry kingdom.

  • @bothebo although it’s a little late now, don’t forget that (because you’re a plus member) you can upload your vita games’ save data to the cloud. It’s available from the content manager app.

  • Gotta ask why can’t we pre order Tales of Xilliia Europe can.

  • Nice update

Quick question: will final fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn available on the PSN store at launch?

  • ANDDD the debates and dislikes continues from the Drop Of The Week Blog To the Update Post. these guys are funny. Smfhh

  • I have the season pass for GOW: Ascension but the Mantles of the Gods Pack isn’t showing up for free, as a matter of fact I only had the first few stuff that came out for free lately everything has cost money!!!

    BLOODY HELL, SONY!

  • will mahjong for ps vita ever be released in NA? i would much rather play that over slitherpuzzle…

  • Lol, figured it out!!!

  • If we preorder Payday 2 from PSN, does it include the same preorder bonus included if preordering the disc version (lootbag dlc)?

  • I’m loving Dokuro! The gameplay looked boring when I first saw a gameplay video, but Dokuro is actually surprisingly fun. This is why I think every game should release a demo. Trailers and gameplay videos rarely make justice to games. If I knew the game was this fun, I would have bought it as soon as I got the Vita.

  • Crash Bandicoot?
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back?
    Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped?
    CTR: Crash Team Racing?
    Spyro the Dragon?
    Spyro: Ripto’s Rage?
    Spyro: Year of the Dragon?
    Final Fantasy V?
Say any of those in the same sentence as Vita and you will NOT get a response on the BLOG. This is just disrespectful and ridiculous at this point.
Also Sony owns Crackle, what’s the reason it’s STILL not available over a year after announcement.
PS: the Blog is turning as bad as IGN’s comment section. Please fix this, cause after that unnecessary attack on neuropunk (if spelt right) smh, I am starting to dislike the blog, use to be great ppl, but you can’t make requests, cause no reply and you’ll have someone attack you for something dumb.

  • whats with al the weak demos lately…i mean come on guys! you can do better, “would you kindly” be a champ and add better demos!

  • CloudBerry Kingdom is worth 10$. ishh is crazyyyy sonnn.

  • “roses and sugar fairies….” Classic

(Clint Eastwood voice) “…or maybe you think this is all just roses and sugar fairies…”

(John Wayne) “….this ain’t all roses and sugar fairies, ma’am…”

  • @115 Tjoeb123 – Don’t mind if I bandwagon on that approach, do ya? (Currently mulling over whether to nab that newest SSF4 Makoto av’, though I’ve always seen the traveler from Journey, here, femininely.)

  • Pixel junk Monsters is Way too expensive for a sugar coating over a PSP game. I own the PSP version and it works fine on Vita…There is nothing added compare to the original, and it should’nt be priced higher … 9$ you had my money, but 14$, no way.

  • Wow GUACAMELEE! Avatars! Cloudberry Kingdom it’s a lot of fun!
