  • BF3 is a good addition for those who don’t have it yet and with BF4 right around the corner it will be a nice introduction. I would have liked to see Kingdoms of Amalur but to be fair I would have jumped for joy if I did not already have BF3. Excited to try Jetset Radio and Oddworld, I will also be picking up 9 games from the summer sale. Many thanks to PS+ for adding even more to my gaming library.

    • Yeah, definitely going to be a great way for people to get more familiar with the BF series before 4 hits. It’s looking like an incredible game for sure.

  • Wish the Vita would get better games from PS+. I feel like it’s getting ignored while the PS3 gets AAA games.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the PS3 PS+ offerings. Just wish the PS Vita offerings were on par this month.

  • Sad about PSP game but pretty good update overall. Own Dokuro, psyched for oddworld (wish it was Vita version), I will try Battlefield but I am not sure about it. I am just glad people can shut up about EU vs US about Battlefield.

  • Is this the full version of Battlefield 3 or only single or multiplayer experience?

  • TheUndertaker85

Not wasting my time with Battlefield. Seriously the first game for Plus you all have offered that I won’t even bother adding to my Downloads List. Thanks, but no thanks.

For those wondering, Jet Set Radio here is free for PS3, not PS Vita. The Vita version was free before.

First month I’m not excited about anything coming within the month.

    • Well, we can’t win em’ all, but I’m sure you’ll find more great content that benefits from being a PS Plus member. Whether it’s more additions to the IGC in the coming months, crazy discounts, etc. But check back through the month to see what’s coming week to week.

    • meant to say, we can’t win em’ all for everyone, sicne game opinions will always differ from person to person =)

  • Where the f*** is Velocity Ultra???

  • BF3 multiplayer is not going to be easy for all these n00bs to get into. Stay out of my server pls lol

  • Wow, this month is great, just like last month! We rarely get FPS, and with BF3, I can play with my friends now! Also, Jet Set Radio is an awesome addition, since I love Sega. I also always been wanting Dokuro on my Vita, so thanks a lot! Never played the other two, but I’m sure they’re great. Overall, a great month, Morgan! Just a question, for Scott Pilgrim, is the DLC on sale too? All I need is the Wallace Wells and Knives Chau pack.

  • wow awesome update guys ,ill be downloading those ps vita games im getting a vita next friday .keep it !

  • I already have BF3 years ago. I always buy my own games. Wish plus can get games earlier so i would not have to buy them when they first come out!

  • Reading and Typing with BF3 Soundtrack (Track 1).

    LIKE A BOSS.

BTW nice update…aside of Jet Set RAAAAAAAADDDDIOO (witch was on PS+ as PSVita Version)

  • Looks like I’m gonna get an easy plat on Forgotten Sands for only $4

  • Also, any chance we can see some free add ons down the road? would rather have that over games at this moment. Like battlefield 3 premium or add ons for old games.

  • This is awful, you guys drop the ball in this month awful

    • Appreciate the critiques, but would encourage you to be more specific about what you don’t like. Otherwise, the feedback doesn’t help us much, know what I mean?

  • Jesus christ…this is an awful plus update!! I mean my god, could you possible pick worse titles to enter Plus after the E3/ 1 year induction of the instant game collection?

Anyone who cares about Battlefield already has it. I’m so sick of these old generic shooters, especially when you know most people want rpgs (western or japanese) to enter the IGC, according to that poll you guys took months ago.

Jet Set, Metal Slug, and Oddworld? Ugh….

And Dokuro is the Vita game for the month? Really? the incompetence of the NA Plus branch is just astounding to me.

To hope that there would be day 1 plus discounts on games like DW8, would probably be wishful thinking. It would at least make turn this month from god-awful to meh.

  • Guess I’m happy for everyone who was clamoring for BF3, since they actually got it. However, FPSs just aren’t my thing; they make me sorta motion sick and everything moves too fast. The rest of the month is pretty terrible, though. Jet Set Radio is a total repeat, worthless for those who’ve already downloaded it for free before. And I’ve never been a fan of the Oddworld games. Will never own a Vita, so don’t care about those titles. Nothing for me this month.

  • Morgan, you misspelled Mortal Kombat under the Last Chance section! Don’t you know how to spell?! ;P

    • oh man, I’ll fix that now. I noticed it was mispelled on the info sheets that I get and at least made the correction on the table with the discount listings, but didn’t notice it was in the last chance section too. will fix shortly!

  • Spiral-INfinity

BF3 killed my PS3 Fat.. i had to buy a Slim got my Fattie fixed.. they both will have BF3 on their HDD.. thank you Sony :)

  • When will I receive my free one year of playstation plus for the 44.5 update hell, that you put me through?

  • Well, June was awesome, but July doesn’t hold much for me. I think Metal Slug is my highlight since I already have Dokuro. Can’t win ’em all, I guess.

Still, I’m sure many will love this update.

  • When are we going to see some actual good vita games on this list? Like maybe Unit 13, Ragnarok Odyssey, Rayman Origins, or UMvC3?

  • FarmFreshEggBoy

JSR was, for Vita. This time it’s for PS3.

  • @26 as long as you have downloaded the games before hand you can delete them and re-download them at a later time to make room for the new games coming to the IGC or other games you have bought or intend to buy later. Once downloaded they are in your download list in account management or on the store itself.

  • passivefamiliar

not a fps guy. but happy all the same. loving the sales. decent month of free stuff to boot. those of you who are complaining can go play in traffic.

  • Nice month, maybe ill buy alice madness return for the summer sales.
Waiting for oddworld and jetset radio, the other ones i already own them. n_n

  • Does anyone know if i download BF3 do i need the disc to play online? or will it come with its own pass to play online? I already own it so i would like to not have to put the disc anymore.

  • I already have this… nothing much for me to play this month…

  • Excellent game, but… Why Europe is getting, minimally, two PS3 games per month and we, most of the time, just one? THX

  • And why is there no ‘Nothing for me this week’ option in the poll? Stop being manipulative.

  • Already have BF3 as well but great news for the server pop!

  • Pretty lackluster month. Battlefield is old enough that everyone who wants it, has it. Another PSP game which I have no interest in, and Oddworld on PS3 – I’m only interested in Oddworld if its on Vita

  • wow. thanks playstation. you guys rock!

  • All I want is for UC3 NOT to be 40GB… THATS INSANE

  • If I could make a suggestion for content, I’d like to see some sports titles, like maybe NHL13 or NBA2K13 if possible or Tiger Woods, etc. I’m not really a fan of 1st person shooters and online multiplayers. Go ahead, call me old fashion! 3rd person and amazing single player experience is what gets my juices flowing

  • I already have battlefield 3 and its premium edition! Damn!

  • Now I can get BF3 for price of what it’s worth… nothing. I’m looking forward to Oddworld though. That’s about it.

  • I heard very good things about Dokuro, so I’ll definitely check that out. I’ve never played an Oddworld game so I’ll give that a shot too.

I’m very biased against Call of Battlefield games, but I might as well give this one a shot since it’s free. No expectations though.

  • @Morgan

Can you say whether people who have the season pass of Walking Dead will get 500 Days for free tomorrow?

  • pretty good for those who don’t own BF3

  • There are other game genres other than shooters, just saying.

  • Greatness gets better and better!

  • Can we get some JRPGs with the Summer Blast discounts? At least some for the psp please!

  • Oh, does this version of Battlefield 3 come with all of the DLC?

  • Have BF3 already, but looking forward to Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD and the sales.

  • I’m a little bit disappointed with this months ICG additions, but you can’t win ’em all. I’ll at least try everything (though I’ll have to wait a couple of months for vita games). Jet Set Radio at least I’ve been wanting to try solely for the fact it’s a Sega classic.

I’d also like to say that PS+ is the reason I’m getting a Vita instead of a 3DS.Can’t wait to see what’s to come for PS+!

  • Thanks.
And hey, for the first time in months we can see poll results. Is that a mistake? Interesting, nonetheless.

  • Curses! Already bought Dokuro. But it’s a fantastic game and I’m happy to have given support to the publisher who decided to bring it over from Japan.

I’m sure I’ll be able to get into Battlefield 3 multiplayer so that will probably be the highlight for me this month, and I’m interested to give MetalSlug a shot – I know absolutely nothing about it.

For June I voted for Virtue’s Last Reward, even though I already owned it, because I wanted to show how awesome of an addition that was to PS+. The game I didn’t own that I was happiest to get was probably Xcom. For this week I voted for the Summer Sale.

  • Serious response now:

“What’s your favorite content from this week’s update?”

Nothing that I’m really feeling to be honest. But luckily I have a ton of other games I need to play.

“What was your favorite content from June?”

Only game I downloaded in June was LBP Karting, and I don’t think I’m going to keep it. I’m just over kart racers. I prefer my racing games with fewer weapons these days. I already own XCOM, Deus EX: HR, and Machinarium on PC, and the others didn’t do anything for me.

As for what I’d like to see on PS+
    – Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen (PS3)
    – Eternal Sonata (PS3)
    – Unit 13 (Vita)
    – Persona 4 Golden (Vita)
    – Arkham City (PS3)
    – Red Dead Redemption (PS3)
    – ICO & Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)
    – Nier (PS3)
