I throw in a second ” come on ” with the Metal Gear PO coming to vita. It along with some other request should have been here a long time ago Sony you need to get your guys to hash it out with Konami to make this happen.Other request like Crash, Spyro, Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts. Why is North American PSN still not allowing VITA owners to access all of the PSP and PSone games that the other countries are allowed to play? I am not amused that Sony seems to be treating this like it is no big deal. If your not going to allow us the games that other regions are allowed to play then you could atleast change your policy to allow 2 psp’s and 2 vita systems pre account, to access purchased content. As it is now I can’t play 2 player psp games unless I buy another psp just for the games that do not work on my VIta.

@trum3n1 first this is NOT the plus update and second the US update is delivered exactly the save as EU for these last few months. Come back tomorrow to see all of July plus releases, but they will release weekly on psn just like EU. EU doesn’t get the entire month of content in one day on the store.

Does the Vita not get Full U.S.-styled games anymore? Is the Vita only good for small games and Japan-made games? Wth happened to the boasting of the analog sticks being ideal for shooters? Not everyone is kid-hearted and likes japan cartoon games. I guess when dev’s don’t see a large consumer base + selling price point for games on Vita vs. other consoles, there’s little incentive for creativity and motivation. Money speaks all languages, and is the catalyst of everything.

Bladestorm, wow… Well it was a good demo I played…I don’t know, YEARS ago! It certainly isn’t a good enough game to warrant a triumph-like return as a digital download. I’m glad I have an EU PLUS account, grabbing Battlefield 3 for free!!! Maybe US will come around, most of the time they overlap so, don’t complain too much, we might just get it here too.
I’m starting to love my vita for indie games, hotline miami is just perfect on vita. Bring more of those games Sony, Limbo is next on my list. Those are great games for your buck, this is exactly what the vita needs. Old school pc games would be awesome too, offer something like GOG on vita, play all these games that are long forgotten on the go without the need of a laptop. I’m thinking of DOOM, Descent, Unreal tournament, Max payne, Warcraft 3, starcraft just to name a few. Bring these games at a low price and you’ll get lots of sales.

ITT: People who give a crap about Battlefield?
The aesthetics of this “Bladestorm” catch my eye, but I’m about as informed about just what the game is/how it plays as we were from that “18XX: The Order” reveal (whatever it was called). Obviously it has strategy elements at the least, but still hazy on the details of control.
Velocity Ultra… Shame I don’t have a Vita yet. Still have the original minis version from Plus (back when it still offered minis and Classics), so I guess I’m okay for now.

Did you guys see Rey G. at E3 …..pretty funny. @27(somebignasty) If you want the vaunted “Jrpg” get plus Japan then. Seriously though the state of “Jrpgs” right now is laughable compared to ps2 days so much so that “Jrpgs” are starting to copy western rpgs and it is sad because we used to envy the “Jrpg” even import them, now not so much.
Where are all the good Ps2 classics? There are so many JRPGS that you guys still haven’t released. You still have yet to release the rest of the Suikoden franchise so far only the original Suikoden has been released but we still haven’t gotten II yet. Also what about the Enter the Matrix franchise? That was a very good franchise and I’d like to be able to play the whole franchise all over again but sadly I can’t because ps2 games do not work on the current version of the ps3 I have now and I have to wait for these games to be released via PSN for me to be able to play.

(yes i know this is not the plus update)( it better not be lol@Farming sim.) To those saying Battlefield3 is bargain bin and “old outdated shooter”….. really? B3 is still 16$ used at gamestop and more$ on psn and granted 16$ is cheap i wouldn’t quantify it as “bargain bin” what do you expect to get The last of us or Bioshock Infininate or…….for you “JRPers” Ni no Kuni ? B3 is NOT antiquated or outdated even though it relased ’11 it uses the gorgeous and highly respected Frosbite2 engine and looks far better than the likes of any CoD game. The Frosbite2 is the best looking engine out there and MANY games have and will utilize it until B4 and the even more impressive Frostbite3 come out. This is the new Unreal engine since the Unreal3 flopped and B3 is the best standard war fps out there (better than the sterile yearly release CoD) so if ps plus wants to give us beautiful AAA titles like B3 i speak for MOST out there (meaning the overwhelming majority) that we DO want B3. period.

The best place to get a EU PS+ card with an American credit/debit card is Maximus Cards. It’s a website but I don’t know what Sony’s rules are on posting links. You also get the code instantly. :) I searched for a very long time on the Internet since I wanted a PS+ card and I was pretty skeptical on this site but it definitely works. Happy gaming!

@88 iamtylerdurden1 – What I don’t want are multiplayer-focused military shooters. Mind I’ve still not spent as much time with Gotham City Impostors — a colorful, silly little affair more akin to Team Fortress 2 — as it likely deserves, but seeing Spec Ops: The Line in the IGC actually excited me, since its story mode had been so lauded (though I get the feeling that my lack of immersion in military shooters would lessen my reaction).
Personal taste, I know, but if a game’s not gonna focus on a compelling single-player experience, then it needs to make up for it in novelty. What little I’m versed with Battlefield or COD (or their knockoffs), I’m not drawn to them. I do hear good of the “big moments” in COD story modes, but I still haven’t gone further in that (first?) snow level in Modern Warfare 2, a play request by my friend from over a year ago, now.
I don’t need recent games, just interesting ones.
If EU gets BF3 and we get crap like Bladestorm, I’ll be upset. This would be the second time that this would happen for me. It would be awesome if they had one game be a “Gamer’s Choice” or something. Let us vote for one of the games, maybe?
