IGN gave Malicious a 5.5. I would prefer to see fewer games of better quality than a constant stream of bargain bin games, puzzlers and mediocre garbage like this week’s offering. I still get good value out of Plus as the discounts usually make up for the games but some ‘wow’ content would be nice for your NA subscribers once in a while. You don’t seem to mind throwing some of that EU’s way, why not spread the love? Seems like the best way to do business to me.

Malicious though is particularly bad. It has almost no first playthrough value. I doubt 50% of the people who download it will finish the first 3 levels.
I’m always open to try new games and have new experiences but could we have some more mainstream games in the IGC or at least games that I’ve heard of? Something like Castle Crashers would get people instantly excited instead of having people look on youtube to see what malicious is. Also I know that the vita has a limited library of retail games but couldn’t we get something like unit 13 and mortal kombat? And when could we expect the main ps+ games to rotate out with new first party titles? Sorry to sound overly negative but these are the questions I’d like answered.
I am excited for dragon fantasy, now I only need to decide wether to play that or rainbow moon first.

The physical copy of GTAIV has been on sale a lot recently for $15. I would have bit at $10, but for now I’d rather pay the $15 for a physical copy than a digital one.

I agree with what you are saying but at the same time it benefits you if you have 2 or more consoles (limit 2 per lock, Enable and Disable the ones you play on the most). You can install them on to several consoles and not have to chase down the disc. I play Battlefield 3 all the time so I purchased it through the store $39.99 even though new physical copies go for $15-$20. It was my preference and I didn’t mind paying that since I sold my physical for $25.

Unless you were planning on getting rid of your Playstation 3 then I would see your point. But not everyone is going to just give up on the ps3 and go full on ps4. I love my Playstation 3 and there is no way its gonna go away anytime soon. Many if not all will keep both the ps3 and ps4.

I have no plans on getting rid of my ps3 either but I remember my ps2 breaking down on me twice & my first ps2 never seeing the light of day after that broke down so I gave up always fixing it. I just hope my ps3 will last long enough till they carry the purchases over. I’d hate for my ps3 to break down & they stop making ps3’s (which I know isn’t in the next few years) then we are all out of luck.

1. When the PS Vita version of Malicious releases, will it be cross-buy? If so, and if we buy it before then, do we get it for free?
2. Been trying to transfer UNCHARTED: Golden Abyss and Sly Cooper to my PS Vita, but wasn’t aware that the Store was down. I’m aware of some of what happens in the back-end, but why can’t we transfer PS Vita applications while the Store is down?

I didn’t get my credit for the March savings, and I was going to spend it on the Borderlands bundle. Well, I got a message from customer service saying “everything is sorted out, we’ll send you a code sometime later this week.”
and now, I see: “The Borderlands sale is ending tomorrow, better grab it now!”
Meanwhile, the store is unavailable due to maintenance and as always, the maintenance period will be MUCH longer than the time frame given. So even if I wanted to buy it today, I can’t. I bet that just to be different, the store will update early tomorrow instead of 8 hours late.

It’s not fair I’m a PlayStation plus member but I only own a Vita. Theres rarely anything for us. I noticed we get a good game once a month when ps3 gets one every week. I never ever left a complaint but its not cool vita owners don’t get enough out of ps plus. Please think f vita ps plus owners we paid for our systems just like people paid for there ps3.

I just have one question i have all the DLC’s for PSallstars the only thing i dont have is the 2 DLC leves , are those 2 levels also going to be discounted at the PS all stars sale at the end of the month?

Ehh… not really. Guacamelee! is a bit on the easy side if you ask me. And I think that might be BECAUSE I’m an “old-school” gamer. Perhaps younger/new gamers would have trouble with some of it. I just ran through hard mode today to get the platinum, and it wasn’t much harder than the normal mode. Great game though. Fun to play, lots of charm, excellent soundtrack, great atmosphere, solid handling, pretty colors, amusing/entertaining characters, etc. It’s very enjoyable. Quite a high-quality production considering it’s from a small studio. They’re very talented people over there at DrinkBox. :)
The good thing about montlhy updates is: you get disappointed right away, no need to wait on weekly basis. The bad thing is that you have to wait the whole month for something good to come up. What’s the point of a big sale of old games? GTA is (slightly) over 5 years now. In a 8 years console, is quite old. Those who would have bought it, already have. Of course there is the trading for digital copy, but IMO new games, with good discount DLC’s would have better profits. Thing is, SCEA, for a while now, is trying to squeeze an extra buck for old games instead of making a decent sale. ps: i’ve bought GTA IV, both the DLC’s and afterall, the Ultimate Edition on disc. Not trading this for the digital copy.

I’m on the fence about Dragon Fantasy. I haven’t been into RPGs in a looooooooooooong time, and I only enjoyed a few of the ones I played back in the old days… but I’ve had this strange itch to take a classic RPG gaming adventure lately, and this just might be what I need.
Arkham City and Limbo are next month PS+ games :P
Finally, an update I can really get behind.
Looking forward to playing Malicious. It looks fantastic, especially for a $10 PSN game.

lol, I was going to respond to that guy (gal?), but you took the words right out of my mouth. I’m an “old-school” gamer myself and I find the games these days very easy. I tend to play all of my games on the hardest difficulty possible, just to get a challenge. Which is why I appreciate a game like Demon’s Souls in the IGC. An older title, yes, but brings me back to the good old days when NES controllers were durable for a reason.
I have a issue, I only got $20 back from the promotion when I’m suppose to get $30, I spent $150 and change JUST to make sure, I had 43 cents initially and added $50 3 times since it started and a few days before it ended I had 16 cents left, which clearly means I spent enough. Can I get my next $10 please, I don’t find that fair that I spend 150+ and don’t get all of what I’m suppose to get!!

I really miss getting PSone classics though. Getting all of the spyro, crash and siphon filter games was great back in the day. Any chance that we’ll be seeing PSone classics make a return? I’d love to be able to play some of the old final fantasy games, street fighter alpha, tomb raider or persona 2 make it into PS+
Sorry Teflon2, that isn’t the way it works. The psn wallet only holds $150, so after the filling you didn’t have 150.43, you had 150. You didn’t spend a full $150.
Dragon Fantasy is good enough for me this week.
Update is decent. What I’m looking forward to is the next 2 weeks updates. Guilty Gear XX for the Vita on the 23rd and Soul Sacrifice for the Vita on the 30th, according to sources.

definitely malicious.. just about to finish spec ops: the line… finish up one and swap it out for another… I’ve been loving PS+ regardless of the content… I’ve played many games now that I would most likely otherwise never have played.
I’m really looking forward to Malicious, and I also plan to immediately buy Dragon Fantasy Book I. Love the update so far, can’t wait to see the full thing.
Morgan, I don’t exactly think this is the best place to ask this, but there’s not really anywhere appropriate that I can think of. Is there anything that can be done about the PS.Blog.Share? It hasn’t been updated in over half a year and I really miss being able to look at other players’ suggestions on additions and fixes to Playstation consoles.
If you guys don’t have control over that, maybe you could atleast tell me where I might be able to send my inquiry to?
We’re looking at the Blog Share and will have along term vision for it on how to better support; but for now, there aren’t any immediate plans that I know of to change it. Consider your inquiry received.
