Soul Sacrifice launches exclusively for PlayStation Vita on April 30th… that’s just weeks away! Many of you have been asking about the demo coming to North America and we’re finally able to address your questions. First, though, watch our new interview with legendary designer Keiji Inafune below.
The demo for Soul Sacrifice is coming to PlayStation Store on April 16th — thanks for waiting so patiently! The demo begins in despair, with you in the role of a captive imprisoned by a ruthless mage and awaiting sacrifice. The looming promise of certain death is interrupted by the appearance of a mysterious book. The tome, inexplicably able to think and speak, introduces itself as Librom.
Librom also claims to hold a special power, allowing those who read it to experience what’s written within. But it’s best that we spoil no more than that! Be sure to try out the Soul Sacrifice demo on April 16th, and check back here when you do — we’ll have more information about the game to share!
Oh, and don’t forget to pre-order! Not only will you get three exclusive Magic Offerings and two exclusive costumes, you’ll also get the Japanese voice-over audio pack for free!
Really looking forward to the demo! the game looks very cool but I am not a fan of the Monster Hunter style games since hardly anything is explained at least in the demo. Hoping that this game does well in North America :)

Wow, the 16th is packed. Dragon Fantasy Book I, Sacred Citadel and now the Soul Sacrifice demo. Not sure about this game yet, but will definitely grab the demo to see if I want it or not. Will have to pop in my second memcard though. Only have 1.5GB left on my first 32GB card, and depending on the demo’s size, I don’t feel like trying to delete stuff to make room. Now that they finally made the Vita save layouts, I can switch cards in peace.

Cant wait for the demo. Been waiting for a update on if PSN will allow digital pre-order since bonuses blog back in January. Come on Playstation, give us a update on this issue. Also would like to look forward to pre-orders and bonuses for other games on PSN in the future.

Looks like a good game. Maybe if I get the 10 for spending 50… Spent over 250 on games before the first and another 50 on PS Plus subscription. My wife and I are new to PS3 having got the GOW bundle on release day as our first PS3. Having a blast with it , I even bought a used Vita this week so I can play my classics while she is using the TV
Is there going to be a PS Vita bundle with this game? If so what will the price be? A nice price drop I hope ;) lol

I called SONY and they stated that vouchers would start being handed out at 11pm pacific.

Doubt it. How many games do you know that does something like that? I put a lot of effort in betas and it would been nice for them to go into the full game but just doesn’t seem possible.

I know plenty of games that do something like that. One in particular is called Soul Sacrifice. The Japanese demo allowed you to carry the data over to the full game.
