(Also on PSN) The Walking Dead video game takes the undead and brings them out of the AMC Emmy award-winning TV show and into console gaming systems in a new, terrifying way.   Terminal Reality’s first-person action game will allow players to assume the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon on an unforgiving quest to the supposed safety of Atlanta. The iconic walkers will relentlessly hunt down players like their television counterparts using a combination of sight, sound, and smell. As Daryl, players will need to tread carefully throughout each new area they explore.  Once discovered, it doesn’t take much to attract an unstoppable horde of undead walkers, so every threat needs to be assessed, and every situation analyzed. No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, in this new, post-apocalyptic world.

“V” stands for “Victory” in Compile Heart’s Hyperdimension Neptunia V, the third game in the RPG series. Neptune reprises her role as the self-aware main character and meets characters new and old after getting transported back to the ’80s version of Gamindustri. Prepare for a refined and even faster-paced battle system! Fans of the series will be able to immerse themselves even deeper into the mythos of Gamindustri with Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

Dead or Alive 5 Plus

(PS3/PS Vita Cross Play) — With a sensual yet realistic style, characters are rendered in incredibly lifelike detail. New touch controls bring a completely new experience to fighting games. Simple taps, swipes, and pinches on your opponent trigger a variety of devastating moves. Using the Vita’s motion sensor, you can even play vertically for a first-person, full-screen view of your opponent. Both novice and expert players will also find even more ways to up their game with new training-focused modes and a new display of advanced frame data that reveals twice the amount of information for each move compared to previous versions. Tournament players will spend hours analyzing the best moves for their fights.

Carnage_Heart_EXA_PSP_0907_001Carnage Heart EXA (PSP/PS Vita) — The centerpiece of Carnage Heart EXA is the design and implementation of giant robots called Overkill Engines (OKE). By themselves, these robots are unimpressive; only by hardware and software modifications do they become truly terrifying machines. Players will have a multitude of hardware and software options to add to their OKEs including weapons, fuel tanks, armor thickness, and more.

Dollar Dash (PS3) — Dollar Dash will have you shouting for joy and screaming in despair, as you make a dash with the cash. You must attack, defend or outrun your fellow thieves using unique comedic tactics and crazy weapons while making sure you deposit your hard-earned cash in the getaway vehicle before it disappears, hold onto the safe or simply blast your opponent on your way to victory.

Hogs of War — Six nations fight for control of Saustralasia in Hogs of War. You side with one of the nations and fight through 25 levels of turn-based action. However, your army is rather unique: it is comprised of pigs. Yes, the smartest of all barnyard animals have decided to wage a war for resources. On each turn, you control one pig for a set amount of time. You can move the animal and attack the enemy, and when time is up you switch to another soldier in the three- to five-member team. After all of your swine have moved, the enemies take their turn in a similar manner.

Zero Dark Thirty (Blu-ray/DVD – Ultraviolet) — For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. ZERO DARK THIRTY reunites the Oscar-winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (2009, Best Picture, THE HURT LOCKER) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.

  • Dragon, stop talking about Crash & Spyro on Vita! Sony wont hear otherwise! -_-

  • Oh, and where’s Crash and Spyro on Vita?!

  • I can’t wait to see Tomba! 2, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Josef from Machinarium on the Vita! Also, Bioshock: Infinite is gonna be sweeeeeeeeet. Anyways, seems like there’s nothing of interest to me this week. However, I am looking forward to getting The Cave on PS+ in the next week or two! ^o^

  • I picked DoA5+ this weekend. Great game

  • @15 el_casual
Silent Hill works just fine on my Vita, not sure what you are talking about.
    @25
Not sure why there are so many IF fans, she’s the most bland of them as far as personality and looks. Sucks that the game is delayed, but my NISA account says the game has shipped, so I may get it Tuesday :)

I love all the people saying The Walking Dead is going to suck as if the Telltale Games was golden…it was about as exciting as an interactive DVD menu and I love the show, it just sucked.

Any who, whenever my LE of Victory gets here is all for me this week. Glad it got mentioned on here, NIS games rarely get the love they deserve.
Would be cool to have some DOA Avatars :3

  • Zero Dark Dirty? hahaha

  • I already have Dead or Alive 5+ for the VIta thanks to Gamestop breaking their street date, it is awesome, LOVING EVERY MOMENT!

  • @47: Yes, I realize that. It just annoys me when they advertise it as having PS3-like graphics and they show it off as such but they don’t deliver.

  • Just Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and PlayStation All-Stars DLC for me this week! It sucks that the release of Victory got changed to the 21st, though…

  • Can’t wait to grab DoA5+,mostly for the bonuses, but also since I can finally play with my PS3 friends. My PSN wallet is seriously waiting to be emptied.
New Battle Royale dlc is great as well.

  • Picked up DOA 5+ yesterday (and hoping that DLC will be available on Tuesday), and I already have Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory pre-ordered at the NIS Store

Meanwhile, this week is definitely a great week for downloads, with the Hots Shot Golf Vita DLC, the latest Playstation All-Stars DLC, the long awaited Star Trek: The Next Generation Pinball Arcade Table, another batch of games in the Capcom Arcade cabinet, and hopefully Disgaea 3 on PS+ (either this week or next).

  • Zero Dark Dirty…? Must be the X-rated version..

  • Oh and Survival Instinct smells fishy…

  • Hopefully DOA 5+ is a much better port than NG2+… would be great if NG2 was up on PSN for PS3 :)

  • How come there’s no PS Vita section/banner?

  • Carnage Heart EXA!!

    finally some mech games!!

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory for the win!!!!!!

also definitely downloading Dead or Alive 5+ on Vita!!

  • Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory hell yea :D. and DoA 5 is in my interest aswell. its going to be a awesome week .

  • Hot Shots DLC!!!

  • @54
I know, it’s just that she was my avatar at the time, so I thought I’d make it look like she’s talking about the game she’s in (though as a pipsqueak this time around…). I do intend to change it soon…

Also, if that’s the Limited Edition you pre-ordered, you’re one lucky bas–I mean, dood!

    @64
Well, I was going to say that there aren’t any Vita retail releases this week, but looking back at the post, DOA5+ is such a release.

Speaking of DOA5+, I never really understood why Tecmo decided to put Ayane in both the DOA series AND the Ninja Gaiden (reboot onwards) at the same time… Though, the only games of them I’ve played are DOA2 on the Dreamcast, and NGS+ on the PS Vita (as well as the NG3:RE demo on PS3, which I may or may not pick up…).

  • Here for Carnage Heart EXA! And considering Hyperdimension Neptunia V.

Looking forward to The Cave tomorrow for PS+!

  • Uh, isn’t the movie called “Zero Dark THIRTY” and not DIRTY? Thought I’d point it out XD

  • looking to get doa5+ on tuesday. ill probably try demo 1st.

  • I wonder if there are plans to add the original Ape Escape as a PS1 classic. PLEASE IT’S SUCH A GOOD GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh finally Carnage Heart EXA.

  • they wont put god of war on the psn store til after april 1st because they dont want people getting it for only 50 bucks

  • I kinda got the warm and fuzzies over the Eiffel Tower story lol I find that kinda weird hahahahaha

  • Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory LE and DoA5+ for me. Pre-ordered ’em both.

Really quite annoying we didn’t get the DoA5+ demo last week though. It would have been nice to try it out while waiting for the game. And knowing Sony, the deliver man/woman will probably arrive with DoA5+ from EB Games way before the PS Store is updated. xP

@22: I agree, but I like talking about games too much to ditch the “social” aspect of it. ): Dern it. Plus, it’s hard to visit sites for news and NOT read comments (thus make them).

  • Hogs of war- this is awesome game! Thanks.

  • ewwwww disgusting drop

  • I guess this stuff is better then them adding more Dora the Explorer games or did they already put them all on psn?

  • Yay, shovelware and and a bad visual novel.

But hey; Hogs of War was cooool. Never beat it, but it was great to play.

Now get The Neverhood on PSOne Classics.

  • Activision didn

  • Activision didn’t spend a dime promoting The Walking Dead Survival Instincts, so I imagine the game will receive a lot of bad reviews.

I would rather play a Vita port of Tekken Tag 2, but I will try the Dead or Alive 5+ demo to see if it is a good substitute.

  • So….. Soul Sacrifice demo?

  • #46 thats how theyve been marketing all the PS3 to Vita ports LOL just go to youtube and check out all the videos they are all showing ps3 footage and when you put your game in your like WTF is this LOL

I didnt know Soul Sacrifice was coming out next month …. more marketing on that one Sony come on :) I found out looking at the gamestop site!

Give us more VITA games stop porting so much! Please …and announce Gravity Rush 2 at E3 please thank you!

  • #82 yes they did what you think MERL AND DURL do commercials for free? LOL

  • …. oh my god what I just saw on the Gamestop website

    http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita/games/ys-memories-of-celceta/107849

Ys: Memories of Celceta…. has a release date in the US (Sep/24)

    Hype the game please :)

….with all these games coming out … I cant save for the PS4 … its impossible …. lol

  • and get Ys Oath in Felghana free for PS Plus sometime :)

  • Please put the Soul Sacrifice demo on the US ps store.

On the walking dead game. I feel like someone should make a good zombie survival game set in the walking dead universe. The title including the walking dead should be enoough to get some people’s interest, and they could include some references to the show. I’d probably buy a game set in the walking dead world where survive is your only objective. Make the main focus a massive open world filled with towns, cities and military bases. The next thing should be customization.

  • Star Trek: The Next Generation is finally dropping on The Pinball Arcade! Yay!

  • Hogs of War!! Man, did I ever play the crap outta that game, back in the day. I shudder to think what the graphics are gonna look like now, but it was really fun.

  • DoA5+ Demo.. ohhhh yeah!!

  • @68
Yeah I preordered it the day it came on the store back on 12/11/12. I liked MK2’s LE so I grabbed this one as well. I always try to order NIS games from them since they always have goodies.

  • Is Hyperdimension Neptunia V gonna be on PSN store?? if so, Im gonna get it as soon as its available! also the PS all stars DLC and DOA5+!

  • that Walking Dead game is going to be crap. No one has even had hands on time with it and there is almost no info available. Activision probably didnt want sales to be low because of us knowing it was crap in advance

  • The Drop this week my Blue-ray Drive Dropped Dead. And my PS3 is now a huge paper weight with a working HDD…. And I can’t play GOW …. Well at lest this didn’t happen a month before The PS4…. Must know more about PS4……….. please share!!!!

  • So… what happened to all those games for the vita we were promised at the beginning of March? Disgaea 3 and whatnot?

  • ANOTHER WEIRD PS1 GAME…. SERIOUSLY…. WHEN ARE WE GONNA SEE PS1 N PS2 CLASSICS THAT ARE TRULY AMAZING….RIVAL SCHOOLS FOR PS1 FOR EXAMPLE….

  • Wheres Saga Frontier 1 & 2!?

  • I’m sure this has probably been asked before but I’ve always wondered, why are add-ons that are released on Tuesday never added to the drop posts?
