  • Love this way of updates, monthly and weekly reminders.

@Morgan or @Kristine do you have any info on the starter pack of dust 514, it still charge me for it.

  • @496 Are you entering the 12 digit code correctly? Try doing it thru the store without dashes.

  • @498 They will.

  • Why aren’t the 4 free vita games mentioned in this post?

I’m happy that everyone’s liking this months update. A little credit to the complainers….their voices may be what inspired changes in the format of the update as well as the (slight) increase in quality.

One poster referred to “simpletons” seeing a monthly update and attributing value to membership by them.

Hmmm, I’ll have to say I disagree with that. It’s too easy to make a quality distinction with the EU PS+, licensing agreements notwithstanding. I’m not saying you don’t get value, but an Orwellian comparison is what it amounts to.

  • ScorchedAngel212

This is one of the best I have seen in a while for PS Plus! Just recently got a Vita and having a huge game like Disgaea (a series which I have been meaning to get into) as a free game which was normally $40 makes this all worth it :)

  • Great update, it make me want to stack my third plus year before the 10 bucks and three month promotion by today!

  • @The_Dukenator

I checked and it doesn’t expire until April 26th of 2014

  • PrimeroIncognito

I signed up for Plus just last week (Feb. 25), and I’ve already downloaded Closure (a $14.99 value), got a $3 discount on Urban Trials, and from this update, I can see that I will be downloading Joe Danger 2 and The Cave (a $14.99 value, each). Altogether, that’s going to be a total of $47.97 worth of “content gained and/or money saved” by the end of March, just from the SELECT FEW titles available that I’m interested in.

(And don’t forget the cloud storage!)

And of course, because of the $10 loyalty voucher I had received, it was like I got 15 months of Plus for a mere $40. Looking at it that way, I’ll already have my subscription paid for (and then some) by the end of this month!

I’ll still have 14 months left after that… and yet, some people think Plus isn’t worth the money?

Yes, beef_child, PlayStation Plus haters are indeed simpletons, if they can’t understand First Grade-level mathematics. You are free to disagree, however. :)

  • @503 Jetpack Joyride. Look it up.

@505 Hmm. Does this happen with other games?

  • @506 When I joined Plus, it was an experiment to see if its worth it. 3 months later, it was. I’m trying to get back on Plus, so I could access the games I downloaded awhile back.

  • @500: The Error code NP-8132-4 appears very often. I’ve been trying since last week! I can’t take it anymore!

  • Yep. Saints Row 2 has apparently expired as well. Both on March 2nd. And a friend told me that his told him that his had expired as well even though we’re both still paying Playstation Plus members.

  • @510 And both subscriptions are current? Contact Playstation Support about this.

@509 Are you entering the code on the console or website? I asked this question a lot on 360, but asking here for the first time.

  • The announcing everything now is good but everything else is crap. More boring games I’m so excited for another crappy military game pfft.

  • Joe Danger doesn’t help matters played the demo of the original was bored so I stopped and the Cave just looks dull.

  • @513 Yet, demos exist for the games.

  • awesomesauce!!

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ The_Dukenator

Well then, you better get back on it within the next few hours!

You don’t want to miss out on 3 extra months, do you?

Also, you inadvertently brought up another good point, at least for someone in our position. Signing up for Plus last week also allowed me to re-access a few games that I had downloaded during a couple of my free 30-Day Plus trial memberships! So, even MORE value was added to my subscription! It’s ridiculous how generous the Plus program is. Absolutely ridiculous… in a good way, of course. :)

  • Great update guys!

1- I’ll be enjoying the free games.

2- I’ll renew my PS plus subscription to get the free 3 extra months and the $10 in April.

3- Loving the Vita anniversary sale, I’m going to buy Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

    ;)

  • That sucks, I bought the cave on day 1, and now i get it free. I should get a refund!!

  • From_Concentrate

Love the content but he new layout pleases me the most.

  • I’ll try out spec ops…would have liked to see Disgea 3 for PS3 which would mark the first RPG given to us.

SIDE NOTE: What happens to our Plus content when PS4 launches? Are we just having to transfer it over to the PS4? And what if we aren’t getting a PS4 until the ridiculous launch price gets dropped a year later?

  • I am very glad I got PlayStation Plus. It’s updates like this that makes it all worth it!

  • @511 Well I have great news and awful news. The awful news is that I have to buy another year of Playstation Plus now because the 30 day free trials I stacked are absolutely worthless. The great news is that today is the last day to buy a year of Plus and get 3 months free. Consider it BOUGHT

  • This is what I like to see. These are some really great games, wide variety of genre, and all cleanly presented to me at the start of the month. Now I know exactly what to look forward to and I can plan my purchases for this month without having to worry about whether a game will be free or not this month.

  • Oh my god, im so happy i could cry. i literally jumped up and down when I saw Spec Ops. I was this close to buying it too. This is so awesome. All Hail PS Plus and all its glory!

  • Definitely interested in some of these games. This months offering is better than the EU version cause I own the games EU is offering

  • Yes. Hell yes. Keep the updates coming with quality like this and my PSPlus will stay on for life.

  • Oh come on….Spec Ops for US and Mass Effect 3 for Europe….At first I was like, “This isn’t a bad update” but than you see EU’s update and yet again, the US team fails to secure the same level of content. Oh well I guess we should just stop being insane about it, the US team can never out do the EU, we just have to accept it. Expecting different results from this inferior team is the definition of insanity. Maybe next month EU can get Assassin’s Creed 3 and we can get Duke Nukem’.

  • Spec Ops: The Line is actually $29.99 @ the psn store

  • @518 The difference is, when you leave Plus, the game no longer works.

@516 I might end up missing out on the extra 3 months, but I’ll get a year anyway.

  • @527 Licensing. You can’t expect to get the same game everywhere.

  • Great update!

  • Wow, if you’re not a PS Plus subscriber yet get on that! Probably the best update I’ve scene since becoming a member; I better start thinking about a new memory card for the Vita

  • Finally US plus gets a decent update thank you!

  • @511: I tried with my PS3 and Vita, but nothing. I didn’t tried to do it from the website, though. But I don’t think it will make a difference.

  • Now that is how you do a kick ass update! Glad to see the format going to a monthly outlook with weekly reminders. A great set of games for both my PS3 and Vita. Keep this up and you will gain a ton of great attention to the plus program.

  • This is great. I got spec op’s and played it over Christmas and it was WONDERFUL. I rarely have anything that is instant free on PSN which is great but knowing how good this is and more people playing it makes me happy.
I finally got into my backlog over Christmas played four 3rd person shooters to completion.
these were my favorite in order.
    1. Binary Domain <awesome
    2. Spec Ops the Line <great story
    3. 007 Bloodstone <underrated, best melee
    4. Max Payne 3 < little overrated , good length.

    friend me.:)

  • I was a Plus Subscriber from Oct 2012 to Jan 2013. I am currently working on getting back on Plus, since a year of Xbox Live Gold isn’t worth the money.

  • I’ve been pretty happy since I joined except for Foosball! haha But Vanquish? Resident Evil 5? NFL Blitz? NBA Jam? and now Spec Ops? I’m very happy with PS+. Thanks!!

  • wow – March looks to be best month ever for PS Plus members! Question > my PS+ membership isnt up for a while yet, can I purchase another 12 months now to simply extend my current membership?

  • Also the cave is lame don’t waste your time

  • @534 Is it all 12 characters entered without dashes like: XXX111XXX111? Some characters could be a digit or a letter.

  • @Primeroincognito

Wow, I didn’t know this was available. Muchas Gracias ;-)

  • Amazing update, too bad my 32 GB memory card is completely full. I had to delete/backup my PSP, PS1, PSMobile, Videos and Music to make room for some of the purchases from last weeks update. I would definitely buy another 32GB memory card if:
    A. They were cheaper and
    B. It wasn’t such a pain in the ass to switch them around, messing up all of my bubbles.

I guess I’ll just have to remove Uncharted (I have the physical copy anyways) and PlayStation All Stars BR since I have that on my PS3, as-well as Sly Cooper:Thieves in Time which is also on my PS3.

I really hope that there will be an update so that the bubbles wont reset themselves when you switch memory cards. Then and ONLY THEN will I buy another 32 GB memory card.

  • In my own opinion, the vita on plus really just needs a good fps, but an online one, such as unit 13, or maybe ac3, just because its a game that will keep you entertained, yet unit 13, if I’m not misunderstood has multiplier, id think it’d keep me entertained much longer than dumb old drake(which really stunk, cant count it as an fps or even a puzzle game its that easy and boring) or gravity rush (which was in my opinion short, kind of confusing, and difficult game play because the close hand combat was very bad and non responsive). Although the other lineups are good i feel you need one, just one good fps with online play because it really stinks just playing alone. AND everyone loves fps such as call of duty but that i heard wasn’t the best and way to costly to distribute. Id go with unit 13 yet some don’t like the graphics. New idea? Lets vote ^^

we should vote between, ac3, unit 13 and dynasty worriers(which wasn’t my fav)

  • @ Morgan Haha go to bed!! you are never on here this late. Its 10:18pm my time. have you played Spec Ops yet?

  • cool!!!!!
i can’t wait for palying spec ops!
    it’s great to join plus,hahahahaha

  • @ DarLau, YES! and hurry up before tomorrows update so that you’ll receive 3 extra free months of PS+

  • Oh and why are people complaining about the memory sticks, they are rightly priced and there to keep people from hacking.
