Tenmyouji, sweet. But, if you have a Vita also, things are not so cross compatible. I think you have to switch out memory cards in order to work that angle and then, of course, no trophy for your real acct and that is too big a bummer for me.

The JP PSN consists of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. A lot of it is in Katakana though. While the new store layout is horrible, and JP PSN adopted it, most of the stuff you will need to click to navigate is in Katakana.
Basic year 1 Japanese reading skills will allow most to navigate the store quite effectively.
@548 yea some of the games ill just buy disc of used like bioshock 2 and daksiders and what not but ill buy final fatasy 5 cuz with the sale they just had i completed my colletion i now have 5 through 9 the ones i want i just have five for free and ill pick up spryo collectio and the first silent hill from the store the but what i can get cheaper on disc ill pick up on disc

Very true, I still have no idea why they made it that way on the Vita, I mean the system is not region locked, so why region lock it digitally. Most people that import games, re-buy them when / if they release in their country.
and i dont get why people are so upset about not getting mass effect3? first of its NEXT month which means something good could still come up. secondly, you can buy that game for as cheap as $13

So true, people always complain about not getting the cheap games. And then there are those that complain when we get a cheap game that is great, such as when Bioshock 2 was free.

This really shows the huge disparity of the two regions, for example: sure we got Vanquish last week, but the EU region already got that game earlier, and they now get even more games we don’t. This month it was Sleeping Dogs, next month it’s Mass Effect 3 (PLEASE SCEA prove me wrong).
Plants vs. Zombies is amazing. Unfortunately for me I already own both PS3 and PSV versions, but I’m sure everyone who gets the PSV version for free will love it to bits. It even has a shiny Platinum trophy.
Good week, I might grab something on sale. Aw, I need more storage on my Vita… :/
@553 I have games that are not even on PSN like Chronicles of Riddick, Fallout 3 (base game), Burtal Legend; but there are some free to play games that do not require Plus.

I really don’t understand how sony can give us this update with a straight face. Chances are that if you have ps+, you know a lot about games and have an eye towards value. We notice when sony is shoveling garbage over the fence! The fact that EU is getting the service I thought I signed up for makes it sting even more. They get AAA titles regularly while we get iphone games. Cmon now. 9 of out 10 comments here express the same frustration. Can’t believe sony is letting this happen… this was a total bait and switch and it won’t be long before the gaming media picks up on the backlash and it taints the whole brand. Fix the NA/EU disparity now and I don’t want to hear any stay tuned or we value your feedback junk.

My brother has been a couple times and told me they sell “not for export” products, which means all the most fantastic, cutting-edge tech they keep for their own people. I recall Morgan saying that adding vita to the IGC hasn’t affected the value proposition for PS3 only members (the vast majority). So you mean if this was a pre-vita update, we would be getting a retro/grade discount and that’s it? Wow. Ps+ is in even worse shape than I thought.
By the way, Morgan, I think you are a good dude. I am disappointed with SCEA, not you. I realize you go to bat for us and know that you understand where we are coming from when we criticize bad updates. I just want to see PS+ become what it is in EU.

That is correct. We would have gotten nothing. Similar to how it has always been before the vita addition to the IGC library. EU was no different. :D

I just wanted to add a positive comment to the board.
I’m pretty happy with PS+. It’s less then $4 a month and I’ve gotten a lot of games I’ve really enjoyed that I never would have tried. (Closure and Outlands were big hits here.) :)
I have Plants vs Zombies on the Ps3 and can’t wait to add it to the Vita.

Some of you need to either work on your reading comprehension or quit acting so dumb. Its been stated time and time again, the Vita games have NO IMPACT on the number of PS3 games we get. If no Vita games were added this week, we still would have not gotten any PS3 games.

I don’t usually post complaints, either – but wow – PS Plus games for NA users are really poor compared to Europe. My subscription is over soon, and while I was considering the buy 12 months, get 3 deal, after seeing the latest updates, I may just hold off.

I do like that we’ll get some nice discounts on the Gamers Choice Games, though
I’m really disappointed that this is a vita only week. The updates should offer something for both vita and ps3 customers as to avoid leaving an owner of only 1 of those consoles in the dust.
Aaaww I was really hoping that was Plants Vs Zombies for PS3. Ah well, good for the Vita peoples :) I’ll still make sure to mark it so when I do eventually pick up a Vita, I can download it then :) Future me will be happy playing it, I’m sure.

I don’t understand what all the confusion is about? This is the PS Vita free game.. PS3’s free games were vanquish and closure I think, they are separate. You are not missing out on anything or getting less because of this. Ok I understand EU has gotten some good games like Sleeping Dogs but they also got some crap too
Just renewed my PS+(under my brother’s account), so should be good till July 1, 2014, lol. PS+ is the best thing to happen for the Playstation .
