Why did I even get PS+? This Freakin Sucks!
i really really would appreciate it if they gave monthly or even bi weekly updates on the coming forcast.. i have bought so many games only for it to go on sale a month or a week later.. i bought plants vs zombies vita yesterday and now i see its gonna be free. if i had known that i would obviously not have purchased it.. it feels like a slap in the face to me..
@Scarletspydr. We should be yelling at the game publishers for not giving North America better PS Plus games? No. They are willing to give us the games, but SCEA is not willing to share more of the PS Plus profits with them. SCEE keeps scoring these great PS Plus games from the game publishers because they are less greedy about sharing their PS Plus profits with the publishers in return for allowing them to have the game on PS Plus.
You’re telling me that the European division of a game publisher is comprised of generous angels while the exact same game publisher over here are all evil people who don’t want their games on Plus no matter what? Give me a break.
@J7_JaY the ill informed. You aren’t sharing anything with the vita. If the vita wasn’t part of plus we would have gotten nothing this week, just like it used to be before the vita addition. :D
wow…I just gotta laugh at the “debating” by Joe and Zen this week, not that I wanna get into it with them, as clearly we view the service differently. anyways, for those that want to compare constantly, whether its Feb 2012 to Feb 2013 or EU vs NA, try comparing your NA/EU+ account(s) to the other services, and tell me if its worth your value or not. if you dont like one region, sign up for another. clearly if everyone was as displeased as some try to make it out to be, everyone would just lapse, sign up for EU+, and sony would see this obviously. they would then fix the NA+ to your liking, or make it a one world PS+.

awesome update! was gonna get PvZ Vita with the $10 PSN customer loyalty voucher I got, but now I’m really glad I held off….and the Vita sale? THANK YOU! totally gonna grab up Super Stardust Delta and probably Battle Royale as well.
I usually don’t like seeing these type of comments and am usually fine with the content that comes out every week, but really? Yesterday, I checked out PS+ EU’s monthly update for March and I was impressed. They get Mass Effect 3 this month! In the past few months, it turns out they’ve also received Sleeping Dogs, Vanquish (which we just got), Quantum Conundrum (got that too :D), LIMBO, and Arkham City. Honestly, we haven’t really received anything that competes on that level? We’ve gotten Vanquish, Quantum Conundrum, Bioshock 2, and RE5. Those are the only good games that I remember off the top of my head.
Please make March a better month and don’t make weekly updates. Make monthly ones so we don’t get dissapointed each week. :)

Looks good if you have a Vita… but alas I “only” have the PS3. I need more love than this!
Great update! The main reason I got PS+ was for the vita games, so this is my kind of update. I was just telling my brother I would like to have the vita version of Plants vs. Zombies on PS+ so its like you guys read my mind. The only thing this update missed was the metal gear solid collection. When I heard that Europe was getting it I was really hoping we would to, since it is the Anniversary of the vita and everything.
Give us a A list Game, like prototype 2 or Red Dead Redemption , Come On sony!
I’ve pretty much given up on the freebies but I still renewed my sub for the savegame cloud backup and the discounts on PSN titles. I debated letting my sub expire but in the end I decided that those features alone are worth the money I spend on an annual subscription.

If it was for me I would change my suscription for an european one, but it cannot be done I already payed for the NA one so its not like its an option to change. At the first I was like Its obvious they will give equal content, but this is getting ridiculous as time pass.

Seriously people if you want to complain so much about EU PS+ just buy it already, it’s only $44 US equivalent so its actually cheaper than US PS+.

$50 = $50 US
You can use PayPal and conversions are cheap through them. All these complainers annoy the hell out of me.
Plus we opted in for Weekly PS+ updates because people complained when we got all the info once a month. Make up your damn minds people…sheesh.

Hey Morgan, first thx to your guys for the voucher last week.
Second, I actually prefer to have more digital only games involved in PS plus versus how the euro store gets more retail based games. Also, gotta love how you guys have been including more PSP stuff in plus (like my namesake last week!). If I had any recommendations, please more sales for classic PSP titles as well as older PSN titles/content that never had sales before (x-men arcade, the castlevania LOS dlc, etc)
Also, for the people not keeping score, remember what Morgan said; SCEA is only allowed to give a game for free if the corresponding American branch says its okay. So, if WB Europe says yeah to free arkham city while the USA branch says no, that’s not SCEAs fault. I admit it sucks, but put the blame where blame is due.

Yes, no problem at all. I have a JP PS+ account and play all the games on my US PS+ account and earn their trophies. I don’t worry about what EU gets because I know eventually we will get them, and honestly we have gotten some amazing games over the years. I have been a PS+ member since July 17, 2010, never once have I regretted my subscription. My current PS+ membership expires December 17, 2014.

@tenmyouji: yes, completely doable, on the PS3. I have an EU plus membership, too. You can get those games, download them, sign off, switch back to you real account, and continue your trophy ‘ho-ing.
For example, we all have the You Tube app but EU didn’t have it for a long time but I used to use it under my EU acct name with zero problems. You have basically the same XMB, except for purchased themes and avatars, and the Sing Star app that is driving the EU peeps bonkers.

No, and No. Sure if you like Peter Jackson explosions, glamour and glitz with no real substance behind the plot, and shiny set pieces, then sure go with LOTR. If you crave a deep and philosophical component to the story you’re engaged in, then go with the Matrix. The last 2 went downhill? Are you serious? Then philosophical sub-plot clearly went over your head. These were the primary influences for the story in the Matrix:
1.) Jean Baudrillard’s Simulacra and Simulation (influenced by Carl Marx)
2.) Plato’s allegory of the cave
3.) Socrates’ visit to the Oracle of Delphi
4.) The philosophical works of Rene Descartes
In terms depth and meaning of the Matrix vs. LOTR, there’s just no comparison here. Matrix wins every time.
