2013 is already onto a great start. Exploring the unknown and painting the world with depth via black paint, The Unfinished Swan takes the lead for the top PS3 & PSN sellers for January. This highly unusual and unforgettable game is both absorbing, and gorgeous in its subtlety.
Other titles of note include Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Far Cry 3, TOKYO JUNGLE — all spectacular examples of their individual genres. Zooming into hearts and top 10 in a couple of the lists is LittleBigPlanet Karting — a whimsical take on the standard kart game, completely full of fun that only Sackboy and friends can provide.

while we are on the subject of PSN download games…..why have we still not heard anything about the Vita Cross Buy version of Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault? Cross Buy is a fantastic feature (i already took advantage of it with both PSASBR and Sly Cooper) however, its still too soon to be making mistakes like this. I would hate to think sales of Sly Cooper might suffer because gamers are doubting the Cross Buy feature. Its ok if the game is delayed and we have to wait……all we ask is that you keep us updated.

Is the Top Downloads list on the Vita store accurate? Seems a little ‘old’.

The 2 things I noticed the most on this list are:
1. Rockstar has 4 of the 5 top spots for PS2 Classics which is awesome!
2. That the 3 best Final Fantasy games (In my Opinion) are the 3 of the top PS1 Classics. What makes that number even better is that they were the number 1 selling before the US Final Fantasy sale. I bet if Square Enix made an HD trilogy of VII, VIII, and IX that it would sell a massive amount of copies.

Darn, yea got me. You found me out, I work for Sony and I troll these boards. Sony obviously takes bribes to put games on this list. Giant Sparrow paid us $500,000 to place #1. That’s the way it works. If you want your favorite game on the list let me know how much you have to spend.
Ever consider that if they published the sales numbers that Sony’s competition might be able to use it against them in the market place? Even NPD stopped providing retail sales numbers. They now provide them to the manufacturer.
Maybe Sony releases the same exact chart with rounded numbers, what proof do you have that Sony didn’t make them up out of thin air? Can you prove even with numbers listed that Unfinished Swan sold 100,000 copies during January? That was my question, why do you think that knowing a number, proves or disproves this list?

Explain pure fantasy and how having a list would expose that? I would love to see raw numbers also as I’m curious how Ni No Kuni compares to, say the sales on the BLOPS add-on, but even knowing those numbers would not take away from it being number 9 on the list PSN list.

Just because the list doesn’t have sales figures posted next to it (which I doubt you would believe anyways) doesn’t mean they are 100% wrong. Could they be wrong sure but are they wrong?
